Transform Construction

The quality was amazing and the project manager was easy to work with and very very personable and helpful. Our project was done in under 6 months while our neighbor who had similar size project took over 12 months.

The first time we contacted Transform. We scheduled a meeting date and time a couple weeks out. I took time off work to be present and to meet. At 10:30pm the night before the appt. Jaffa Phillips from Transform sent an email (no call) to let me know he couldn't make it the next day but that he had openings a week later. I didn't see his email until I was at home wondering where he was. I never received a call....I took time off work and I was upset. When he called to reschedule....I told him we didnt want to use them after the discourtesy they showed. However after seeing their work and meeting with two other builders, I thought that it was worth it to give them s second chance and get their estimate on the job (it was quite large as this was to be an upgraded custom garage.). Jeff came out as scheduled, met with my husband (I was unable to take another 1/2 day off work) took measurements, discussed the project and said he'd have an estimate for us within the week. The following Monday, Jeff called (no email this time) and told my husband that the owners of TRANSFORM had thought about it....and they were just going to pass on our project t as there was not enough profit to be made even though they knew exactly what the project was and a general scope prior to wasting our time with a meeting. This company is extremely unprofessional. They wasted everyone's time and I would not trust them nor use them EVER. Apparently, unless your project can produce enough "profit" for this company....they will just pass. I would NOT recommend this compsny to anyone and would infact discourage anyone that I know from using them based on our experience with the company and their employees.

Didn't hire, Took 2 weeks to get back to me with estimate for garage only, way over budget, and no choices as I had asked them to provide. Haven't heard from them 2 months later.

I contacted Transform Construction because I have known the owner for a a number of years. Knowing our house needed a new roof, and not knowing who to go with, I thought to ask him if he could recommend a good roofing contractor. He told me that they do roofs. That was a sigh of relief - knowing that they would do great work, I did not need to look any further. And that's what they did . . . I found Transform Construction to be honest, trustworthy, and responsive to my needs and concerns. Isaac (one of their foremen) oversaw the project from start to finish and was thorough in his communication. He came out, gave us different options for venting, shingles, etc. and made it clear how they would do certain procedures. Isaac even made a special trip to inspect the sheathing to help determine what needed replaced and what was still OK. Their roofers were courteous and clearly expert. They worked quickly, showed up promptly, and were very professional. The quality of the work, clean-up, and follow-up were very good. As I said, I have known the owner for a number of years but have never contracted with Transform before as my wife and I have not needed work done. When we needed a roof I knew I could trust his recommendation for a good contractor because I know how he operates his business. I was so glad to find out that they do roofs because I got exactly what I was looking for - A JOB WELL DONE.

When my roof needed redoing, I contacted Transform Construction (among others). I explained an additional problem that in my Cape Cod house the second floor was about 95+ degrees on a hot summer day–and that was with the air conditioner on and downstairs vents closed. It had been uncomfortable enough that I had considered a complete redo of the roof construction to put in a ridge vent and ventilation baffles, but I had been told that this problem was typical in Cape Cod houses built in the 1950’s and not even extreme measures give a return worth the cost. Joshua at Transform listened carefully, totally understood, then worked with me on a combination of adjustments affordable to me: the insertion of a solar vent, light colored shingles, and the possible use of cool-roof shingles. He suggested that I investigate cool roof singles and visit a supply house to see and ask more questions since they would cost about $1000 more than regular singles. I did and decided to try all that we discussed. I am delighted with the results. The upstairs is still warmer than the downstairs, but a big improvement and now quite livable. In addition, I discussed the problems of leaks, and I wanted gutter guards to eliminate constant cleaning necessitated by our many trees. Since my gutters were old, bent, and I had leaks, Transform suggested considering wider gutters with gutter guards. It has worked! Altogether, Transform helped me plan carefully to solve issues. They arranged for everything, coordinated and supervised everything. The workmen arrived on time and worked diligently. They were courteous and careful, and removed all materials. The project manager oversaw the work, made sure it was right, and that I was pleased. All work has passed the test of time which is critical in roof, gutter and leak correction, so I know that the work was was indeed advised well and done well. I would highly recommend this company for their ability to listen, to help plan, to suggest solutions to problems, and to then proceed with excellent work. I may do some siding repair and will be sure to call them.

Everett and his team did an exceptional job on this project. Everett provided assistance on initial plans/design and assisted with material selection. The demo of the previous bathroom was efficient and the workers did a great job of draping off the area to prevent the spread of dust to the rest of the house. Oleg did a great job on the building out of the bathroom - shower base, floor, wall tiles and cut-in. Ronnie was very involved in the day-to-day progress, and demonstrated excellent attention to detail in the items he constructed as well as in supervising other sub-contractors. Precision Glass installed the shower surround, they were also very professional/responsive and punctual. We plan to use Transform for additional projects and highly recommend their services.

The charge is going to be $60,000. The owner, Everett is very involved. He is at the location many times a week. He is very accessible through phone and email. Every request we have had, he has followed up on it and come through on it. He does what he says he is going to do. He doesn't just answer questions and say things to get us of his back. He is trustworthy.

They did a good job. We picked out all the finishings and everything. They had a design person. They were easy to work with and it was done in a timely way. The quality of the work was good. They were pleasant to have in the house. It was all excellent. They were reliable. I chose them because I had a recommendation from somebody.

They did an outstanding job and I would use them again in the future.

Overall, it went well. I tried to get multiple estimates, however, several other companies on Angie's list would not give me an estimate as the job was too small. The estimate was for labor only, we supplied all supplies. The job took longer than anticipated, but was done well. The tile installer was a subcontractor, he was very good, had attention to detail, and was easy to work with. We did make some last minute changes, like removing the soffits, which Transform took into stride.

It went very well. Everything was in on time and they worked around my schedule. They even let me paint my gutters to match my house so I could save some money. Great company and very flexible to work with.

The overall experience was great. All the workers stayed busy and pushed to get the renovation done as fast as possible. The project did take more time because of some additional items I added later and there were a few set backs when we opened up a couple rooms however they did not complain and they didn't addandum the project for another easier project we were all there side by side until it was done. The heated floor in the master bath and the floated vanity with underlighting was some of my favorite features.

They provided excellent advice at the beginning of the project and help with making decisions on what to and not to do. They did what they said they would and when they said they would do it. Were priced better than the other contractors.
