The appointment went well and was completed quickly. Due to the nature of the fireplace, there wasn't much buildup in the flue. The price seemed a bit high for such a quick service call, but the technician was prompt and professional. The company came highly recommended, so I guess you get what you pay for.

Based on his inspection, my chimney is too dangerous to use. Money well-spent.

They came by in the morning to see what size and type of cap they would need. Then returned promptly at noon to install the cap and do the cleaning and check the gas log insert. He was efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely use them again, when due for our next cleaning!

I didn't think they did a good job at all and I remember because, yeah and the other concern I had with them was they just seemed to be trying to get me to buy more stuff.

That was awful. I requested a cleaning and all that kind of stuff but when they went in there they said there was a lot of build up and they would have to go in with a wire brush at an additional cost. I used another company instead and will not use them again. After the cleaning was completed also what they needed to do, they just did the cleaning where they stick the brush up in there and they just brush it out and then they said since the sediment was built up pretty much in there that they would have to bring in a wire kind of like a bristle brush thing and that would spin around in there. So I went back to the why didn't you do the inspection first, let me know first so I didn't have to pay an additional cost. They were both pretty costly, cleaning it was even more. I wasn't very happy so I will not use them again. They should have done the assessment first prior to cleaning. This has to deal with a fire hazard too. The price was ridiculous seeing how I had to pay for it twice. It comes down to communication.

I wasn't too happy with it. He was here for 20 minutes and charged $198. I thought that was expensive. The flue wasn't in the right place. So, we couldn't use it until we got the flue fixed. We had to get another chimney guy to repair the flue. I don't think I got what I paid for.

The company was able to clear a flue and clean out a bird's nest, but I thought $195 was a little high for that. I have two chimneys and I thought, so the that cost and visit, maybe they could inspect both flues. I don't think any chimney sweeping occured. Just dislodged a bird's nest and didn't quote me to cap chimney to prevent a future nest. But the bird's nest was cleared and the flue draws exhaust better.

It took a couple of months to get them to come out. They came out late in the day Thursday, December 3rd, and didn't have the correct ladder. They said they would be back the next day, but didn't show up. When they finally came, they didn't provide notice beyond calling me when they were on their way, so I didn't have a choice but to accept. The job itself only took 30 minutes. It was far too much money for the amount of work they did. They did a good job, but the communication, punctuality, and cost issues would prevent me from ever using them again.

Very courteous and seemed to do great work. Got a lot of dirt out. Didn't do the video cause they said our type of chimney didn't need it..Angies list offered the next week a sweep for 99. so definitely disappointed that wasn't offered when I got it.When they call to confirm the apt I would ask is if theres a difference with or without the video.

Bought coupon as Angie's List promotion. Company phoned and set up appointment about 2 weeks out. Arrived on time. Very professional. Cleaned chimney and gave some advice on how to reduce buildup in chimney.

As we learned from more than one chimney specialist, our chimney (house and chimney were built in 1969) had not been hooked to the house for support originally; subsequently, it tilted substantially; bricks began to crack and mortar cracks allowed water to penetrate to the inside of the chimney and fireplace surface. Tuck-pointing wasn't an option, according to several credible sources; chimney replacement was required. Owner David was on time and clear in his explanations and cost break-downs. Masons were courteous and stuck to the task -- across several days and even in wet/chilly weather. On-site team leaders were excellent communicators. Project was weather-secured and site carefully cleaned -- leaving no follow-up related work for us. Obviously, everyone took pride in their work/results. And we're happy, as well. A new/better flue was installed. Now that the chimney is rebuilt and better sealed, the fireplace has been tuck-pointed on the exposed house interior. --- Update: The flue cable adjustment had slipped -- allowing cold air to come into our home. But ... once I reported a problem to the company, someone was here within an hour -- assessed the problem, and fixed it! Great, helpful attitude. No additional charge, either.

he was there a total of 12 minutes, recommended we use creosote, at $185 (originally $195) they're making over $900/hour!

Well... so far the job is only half complete because they ran out of stone. All the masons are cigarette smokers and I have been requesting workers not to smoke. But that is something that seems to be difficult to find these days and they still smoke at my house even though I would prefer they do not smoke. SO other than that, we are mostly pleased with the work. They have cleaned up nicely and left the yard respectable while we await more stone to arrive to complete the job. The company was even hired by our neighbors to do work on the outside of their chimney. Unfortunately I overheard a worker cursing about something for several minutes. I live two doors down and I had my windows open and heard curse word after curse word. Those homeowners were not home. BUT they are still doing work for me and I was home. I was not pleased to hear the unprofessional language and ranting. SO now we await the work to be completed at our house. And cross in our fingers that it all finishes up nicely with as much professionalism as possible.

Arrived on time and discussed our needs. Very courteous. Got right to work and tore the chimney down to the roofline, then rebuilt. Looks great. Very reasonable price. Came back after two weeks to treat the chimney and crown. Very thorough. Would use again, But I hope to H*** I don't have to! :)

The owner came and looked up at my chimney from the ground and said that I needed a chimney cap. I thought that how did he knew when he did not even go up there and looked at it. He did even climb to check the problem because it could have been something else like my roof or chimney's attachment to the house. He was guessing that it was a chimney cap that I need which is $1600.

They did a good job on the chimney sweep but the quote they provided to replace the chimney cap was overpriced and the chimney cap did not actually need to be replaced.

I can't review this. The next homeowner was there when the services were performed. Did a good job of scoping the chimney and explaining what had to be done.

The services were very good. I am very pleased with them. They did everything I asked- they did a nice job-they did a little bit more. They were very thorough. The gentleman came to give us an estimate and they came right out when they made the appointment. I recommended them to my neighbor and daughter. They gave us a quote and stayed within the quote- it was not extra.
