Description of Work: Due to the nature of the repair I did not use DM Thompson. He was very professional and timely and I would recommend him to my friends to use. My job was unique and he was honest and let me know up front that it would be difficult to find someone who could physically fit into the chimney to do the repairs.

Description of Work: DM Thompson cut out and replaced all mortar joints on our stone chimney. In addition they installed a new concrete crown and waterproofed the entire stone structure. Other work included the installation of a new stainless steel rain cap on a previously open flue. | |The work they performed looks great and it looks like the chimney will survive for at least another 70 years. | |Thanks to the new rain cap on the open flue we no longer have chimney swifts taking up residence in our chimney. | |We are quite pleased with the work that was done and would recommend them. |

Description of Work: Purchased a "Big Deal' for a chimney inspection on our new home and they provided an estimate for reapirs as well. Had our basement fireplace inspected also, which cost more than we were expecting (charged almost full price) considering much of the work seemed redundant and they were already on site, but we needed to have it done. The team was ontime, polite, and provided a thorough evaluation of our chimney and needed repairs.
