Description of Work: Had two flues checked out (same chimney, separate flues to separate fireplaces). Both checked OK, each flue incurred separate charge of $195. Had a mix-up of addresses, but tech called to confirm and was able to change his destination, arriving on time. Overall, charges may seem a bit high, but for the peace of mind, worth it.

Description of Work: Checked, cleaned, and made minor corrections to gas fireplace that had not been used in years. Cleaned pilot light area, replaced batteries, reset pilot light, etc. Total cost included service call.

Description of Work: I contacted the company to request a quote to repair my chimney and received a call back requesting me to send photos because they were too busy to come out and give me a quote. Having no way to get onto my roof safely (which is why I contacted a professional in the first place) I decided not to use this company.

Description of Work: Fireplace flue lining was discovered to be cracked during a routine chimney cleaning. DM Thompson quoted a price to repair the chimney that was almost identical to the company who cleaned the chimney, BUT DM Thompson pointed out that since the damage was caused by a fire, the homeowner's insurance might cover part of the cost, so we went with them. DM Thompson also replaced several bricks in the fire box (at our expense),and replaced a few of the outside bricks as well. Very happy with the work.

Description of Work: This company values professional integrity. I highly recommend them. Previously, they repaired a chimney at another home for me. Both projects they did for me were done in a workmanlike manner and to my complete satisfaction. The owner, Mike Thompson, has a wonderful reputation and oversees his workers. Everyone of his employees were very courteous, and careful to clean up all their work areas. I have found this company to be trustworthy, and would definitely use them again. |A huge tree with large branches hit my house. My chimney, roofing and etc. were damaged. Water was getting into my attic. Mr. Thompson saw that all damage was properly restored. I can now have confidence that no further moisture will get into my house.
