Service guy came out first to write up the estimate for the repairs and then they sent out a gentlemen to do the repairs. They did effective repairs and the price was reasonable for what they did.

I called the company because we had used them before and have mostly been pleased. I forgot to get an estimate and they did not offer one so I was a little surprised by the price.

They were outstanding. Very polite and workmanlike. I would have them back again in a heartbeat. I do not remember job cost.

Company did not return initial call. However, they responded promptly when we called again a few days later (the person responsible for scheduling had been on vacation). They sent someone out within a day or two to provide a quote and the work was completed a few days after there. They were very easy to work with and reasonably priced relative to other vendors. We would use them again in the future.

The service tech arrived promptly, reattached the spring to the garage wall, and retensioned the spring. He then lubricated the spring and every hinge point on the garage door. And he adjusted the open and closed limit points on the door opener. A quick repair that was well done.

Thomas Door made two house calls within a week. The first was to repair a temperamental opener and electric eyes. The second one was more serious. I had backed into the garage door with the car, and the rollers were knocked off the track. The plastic seal on one side of the garage door opening was torn, and the door was badly dented. James came out on a very cold day, working our door in between his other service calls. He was able to get the rollers back on the tracks and get the door to close. James also hammered out the dent on the garage door so that it would close all the way. He ordered a new panel to replace the dented one. He really knows what he is doing and I was glad to see he was the one who would service the door.

They were out the next day, arrived at 8 in the morning and took care of everything in half an hour! Very punctual!

We left a message for Thomas Door on Sunday afternoon to arrange a service call for Monday. Monday morning the phone rang at 7:30am to schedule a call. The representative was at my house by 9am to complete the work. Work was finished quickly.

One of the springs on our garage door broke over the weekend, leaving a car trapped inside the garage. After calling several garage door companies, we found that many were not open on the weekend, could not work us into their schedule, or charged significant ''emergency call'' fees. We decided to wait until Monday. I called several companies again first thing Monday morning and found that still several could not work us in until later and/or charged significant fees to do the job. I was pleasantly surprised to find Thomas Door Controls. They are located in the neighborhood and said they could arrive by noon that day. They arrived even sooner than anticipated (that's good news in this case) and did the job for much less than many of the other quotes we received. We were very pleased with their service and price, and they were happy to support a local business.

I chose thomas door after I looked through the reports on angies list. I called them from work, explained the problem with the door, gave them my address., they call me an hour later to let me know that the problem was fixed. they sent the bill in the mail. I never met them but they did a great job. I was impressed at how quickly they were able to respond.

They showed up quickly and performed all work in a very professional manner. They had everything in the service vehicle needed to make the repair. The associate was also very pleasant and gave us some advice on maintaining the door.

The tech was very nice and professional. He was gone in 10 minutes of his arrival, but I still had to pay a 1 hr. minimum charge of $60.00. This charged was never disclosed at any time, but in fairness, I never asked if there was a minimum. I think it would have been nice to have known and good customer service. Overall, I am happy with the company.

My experience was GREAT!!!! I called Thomas Door Control at 9am and they had my door fixed by noon - - I didn't even have to leave work. They handled it quickly and professionally and sent me a bill in the mail a week later. An overall outstanding experience.

They came out the next day and did a very good job!

Very quick response time, called and they sent someone within 2 hours. Tech was very personable and professional. Honest about the repair and did not try to suggest more then what was needed. Would definitely use them again.

Very pleased with the experience. Door broke late in the evening and they were able to come out the next afternoon to fix it. My only ''concern'' is that I was told I would be billed for the service, and that has not arrived yet even though it's been more than a week since the doors were repaired. So I don't know how much it cost me yet.

They were very professional, and I never even met them.

Pleasant experience overall. The repairman was honest and even recommended alternatives to repairing the door that would be less expensive. He was timely and fast during the job. The only reason I give them a ''B'' for professionalism is because the communication on the phone was sometimes confusing. Also, the billing system was somewhat more complicated than it had to be. They send out two separate invoice letters to you. Not a big deal, but not as simple as other companies' systems.

VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL REPRESENTATIVE FOUND EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED. PRICE WAS REASONABLE TOO.

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE WITH THOMAS DOOR CONTROLS. TECHNICIAN WAS ON TIME, AND DID ALL WORK AS PROMISED.

WE WERE REALLY STUPID AND LEFT SOME LONG METAL POLES IN A BUCKET NEAR THE GARAGE DOOR AND ONE FELL INTO THE TRACK OF THE OVERHEAD MECHANISM AND THE DOOR REFUSED TO GO UP OR DOWN. WE CALLED THOMAS AND THEY WERE ABLE TO COME IN ABOUT AN HOUR AND FIXED IT. HE WAS QUICK AND HELPFUL WHEN HE DID NOT HAVE A VINYL PIECE THAT GOES ON THE SIDE OF THE GARAGE BUT SAID IF WE WANTED HE COULD ORDER IT AND THEY WOULD TAKE CARE OF IT FOR US. I WOULD CALL THEM AGAIN FOR SERVICE IF WE NEEDED IT.

THEY DID A GOOD JOB, BUT I FELT THEY WERE A LITTLE PRICEY. THEY DID CLEAN UP THE MESS WELL AND TOOK THE OLD SYSTEM AWAY WITH THEM.

I CALLED THOMAS DOOR AND TALKED TO A MAN NAMED CHUCK. I EXPLAINED TO HIM THE PROBLEM AND HE SAID HE WOULD SEND A GUY OUT THE SAME DAY TO LOOK AT IT AND LET ME KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS. I WAS BUSY AT WORK BUT WAS PLEASED TO KNOW THAT THEY COULD INSPECT THE PROBLEM WITHOUT ME BEING THERE. WHEN I RETURNED HOME THAT EVENING - I DISCOVERED THAT NO ONE HAD VISITED THE HOUSE. I CALLED TO INQUIRE - AND CHUCK ADMITTED THAT THEY COULD NOT GET TO IT THAT DAY BUT WOULD TAKE CARE OF IT THE FOLLOWING DAY. THEY DID - THEY COULD NOT REPAIR THE OLD OPENER SO THEY REPLACED IT WITH A NEW ONE. THE INSTALLATION WAS DONE VERY WELL AND I THOUGHT THE PRICE WAY VERY FAIR. IT WAS ALSO NICE THEY ARE LOCATED IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD!

THE COMPANY WAS GOOD TO WORK WITH. THEY PROVIDED INFORMATION ON PRODUCTS, SERVICES, AND COSTS; AND DID A GOOD JOB OF INSTALLING THE NEW DOOR.

THE REPAIRMAN WAS PROMPT, THOROUGH, AND CAPABLE. HE WAS WILLING TO PROVIDE THE SERVICE REQUESTED AND TO DIAGNOSIS AND REPAIR ADDITIONAL PROBLEMS.
