Not well. Had significant problem with weeds. Had to have two applications redone and still had weeds. Condition of grass did not improve over the course of the season.

During the second application we were not home. The technician showed up following a very rainy couple of days, where the ground was not appropriate for application. When we returned home in the afternoon, we found our front lawn damaged after the technician rolled his equipment all over the lawn. When I contacted the company they immediately excused the technicians actions and said that a couple of rains would fix the problem and that if I wanted, a manger could come over and evaluate the damage. The manager stated the same thing. It has been two months now, and part of my front lawn is still showing damage. I now have to wait until spring to repair my lawn. I reluctantly paid for the service with a complaint and have not received a reply from the company. Buyer beware! Do not hire this company to care for your lawn! They do not care about customer service and are only focused on collecting your money!

Have used them less than a year and already people are asking what lawn service we use.

I was told upon hiring, that it would take a few weeks to see any improvement. There are still some weeds, but the grass is green.

Good. I will not recommend this company to others because of their uncomfortable business practices. 1. I don't believe they arated our lawn last year and we got a bill.... Never asked them to do it anyway (pushy practice) 2 when I called them to ask them why were they sending anyone to work on the lawn when I did not sign up in 2017, he simply said because I did not "cancel" service. Very pushy... Started offering a cheap used Mercedes in return for continuing service

Company uses bait and switch. I received a postcard from them stating that they had looked at our lawn and could provide a yearlong treatment program for a certain amount. After thinking about it, we decided to give them a try and signed up for the program. The day of our first application, the service rep called me and claimed that they made a mistake on the size of our lawn by a decimal place and couldn't do the program for the quoted price. But, they'd be happy to do it after adjusting the price. I said sorry, I don't think so. He even tried to infer that I knew the price was wrong when I signed up. What a terrible business practice. No way would I hire these people.

What stood out is that it was organic and they seem to have a good deal. I just moved in to my house and figured to give them a shot. I’m probably not going to use them again but if somebody asked me to give them 3 turf companies, they are one of them. I think my lawn doesn’t look as good as I was hoping it would so I’ll probably switch or investigate switching.

Total job went well. Lawn looks great. Bare areas in damaged lawn that was slice seeded is now grown in and looks as good as the rest of the lawn. They use all-in-1 slicer/seeder and all-in-1 aerator over-seeder for optimal efficiency.

I never knew for sure when they were coming, sometimes they would send a text. There was no way to leave a message outside of their business hours if I wanted to know the schedule or ask when they would arrive. To save money they often stuck their bill in my door. I called about fall aeration and Jason made an appointment for service the following week with no mention of a concern. No one showed up so I called and he said it was because I had not paid my bill. Indeed, I had sent them a check when I found their statement on the ground next to my porch. The check was mailed on Oct. 1 and I later learned they only opened their mail on Wednesdays! There was plenty of time for them to deposit my check, but Jason chose to cancel my appointment and simply not show up. I called on the 10th and was curtly informed by Jason that they did not do work for people who did not pay their bills! That's when I was told he would not open his mail until the 12th! After that, IF he got my check, he would call me with appointment time. I called today, Oct. 17, and he alleged he had left me a phone message. He had not. On Friday I had gotten a text saying they would come out on Tuesday. I told him not to come because I no longer cared to do business with such an unprofessional business. He said fine, that he didn't do business with people who did not pay their bills. He used the word "nonsense" more than once. I checked my bank account and indeed, my checks had all been deposited and cleared. So why am I writing this review? 1. The company, owned by Jason McCoy, did not do a good job. Although I complained a couple of times, they always brushed me off or gave a lame excuse, the kind people give to older women whom they think cannot grasp facts as in "Lady, you have to understand......" That should have been the deal breaker for me, but I persevered. 2. It was when I spoke to Jason on the phone and he made an appointment never mentioning he had not received my check, only to later accuse me of being "derelict" that I realized he was not a good businessman, but rather a real smart aleck (did I give away my age?) 3. They do not mail invoices in order to save a stamp, and they only open their mail once of week. A consumer who has no idea whether they have serviced the lawn unless they are fortunate to find an envelope stuck in their door. I have since read many other poor or lukewarm reviews and am happy to say I think I dodged a bullet with my cancellation or further services. And by the way, the term "organic" in their name is misleading...but you will have to research that on your own. I hope this review helps.

This is our second year to use Organic Turf & I couldn't be more pleased. Last night, my husband brought up that our lawn looks the best it ever has. We had another service previously for 6 years or so & were never this pleased. Additionally we keep honey bees. They are very careful about staying away from the hives & only using products that will not harm them. This morning my brother commented on what a great job Kendrick was doing for him. We have the same technician. I can honestly say that organic Turf does make a difference! The price is for 4 lawn treatments & 4 perimeter pest per year.

We've been very pleased with the quality of this service! We had a long time contract with another larger company, but were disappointed with the results, the cost, and the nature of the chemicals used. Organic Turf company provides us with peace of mind with their materials. Their price was unbeatable, and our lawn looks greener, thicker, and better than it has in many years! We've had spots thickening up with grass that were brown for years!

We are having some issue with weed control on our backyard. We tried to take care of it by ourselves, but without much success, so decided to go with a professional. Organic Turf Co. quoted us very reasonable price, especially when I include aeration and seeding. To be honest, being fall, and the service just started, we do not know how effective it would be, but initial consultation over messages here on angie's list, and followed phone conversation was very convincing and pleasant. Prior to their each visit, we received text message, and with automatic payment setup, they just leave us a bill/receipt on our front door. I appreciate the comment you leave with those bill to communicate with us for the service provided, yard condition etc. only unfortunate thing (and it was not particularly their fault), is that on their first fertilizing visit, they could not apply weed control due to the windy weather. It was a disappointment as weed control is the biggest goal I have with our yard. however, winter's coming, and hopefully most of the existing weeds will die down soon anyways... We are looking forward to the continuous service next year, and hopefully we'll be able to see the results then. Thanks!

Everything went well. had a neighbor that got it too. So it was a win-win for all

They always call me the day before and let me know what time their person will arrive so that I can make sure my dogs are in the house. I've used them since Spring and my lawn looks sooooooooooooo much better this year than ever before. We've been in this house for 18 years and the lawn has always been sparse and weedy. We've used the over the counter, apply it yourself weed & feed products over the years, tried another company last year, but this year the lawn has really started to take shape. Even with the 3 large dogs in the back yard the lawn is growing in green and much thicker. I like the service so much that I had them start doing my daughter's yard, too. Her grass is so thick now that it's getting difficult to mow!! It's beautiful. I'll definitely continue to use them next year.
