Description of Work: The Cleary Company was very professional and they gave us a detailed estimate on finishing our basement. We went down to their showroom and they showed us the actual flooring, countertops etc that they used for our estimate. We also got estimates from 2 other A+ listed Angie's List remodelers and one contractor who was not on Angie's List at the time. The Cleary company's estimate was double what the other contractor's quotes were and the materials and the not as high quality as what was quoted by the other contractors. The funny thing was during the meeting they kept saying without us mentioning anything about the price (since they were the first quote we received we didn't have any expectations) how they were only going to make 3-4% on our basement remodel. I am in business and that struck me as a terrible pricing structure and one that few businesses could survive on. Then when we received the other quotes in comparison, the McCleary comment seemed even more outrageous and frankly unnecessary. We want to receive high quality products and services and we want our providers to receive an industry standard or above profit in exchange for that outstanding service.
