Pretty easy. They stayed out of my way. I was able to keep working in my home office (next to the fireplace) while they were here.

I called the Chimney King after having two different contractors look at a problem with my chimney. The first contractor came out and looked at it and scheduled an appointment for me almost four months out. The 2nd contract told me the entire chimney was built incorrectly and would have to be torn down to the ground and rebuilt from scratch. I kept looking and I found the Chimney King. They came out in 1 1/2 weeks and Mitchell M. And Tim S. were able to make my repairs the same day. The fireplace now works to perfection. Our experience with Chimney King was a very good one. They were prompt, courteous, and clean. They explained what was needed and how they were doing it. They were able to keep all of the dirt to the outside of the house and there was very little to clean in the fireplace. Our professional explained some things we needed to know and solved the problem that prompted our call to them. This was our first call for chimney work and we will definitely call them again when needed. We rate Chimney King an A .

Chimney King did some exterior masonary repair work on my chimney.. Crown resurfacing, tuck pointing, water seal, replaced clean out door, multi family flu cap. Mitchell was very pleasant. I would use again.

They charged me 74.18 for telling me they could not do the job bc there was a screw on my damper. They then wanted to remove my stove insert and take it off my hand. The insert is a 3000 insert and then they wanted to charge me 500 to do this.
