Teeters Windows & Remodeling

As usual these guys did a very nice job. I have had them do work before and will probably use them again.

Teeters was very pleasant to work with, and the company's representative was on time, professional and knowledgeable. We decided to go with another company, but I would consider hiring Teeters in the future.

Brian was fairly late in getting the quote back to us (3 days) which delayed us from ordering the windows. The installation was assigned to a crew and they came out and measured. But when it came to schedule there was a problem, the installer who we were assigned had injured himself on a job and was unable to schedule with us. It was admirable that Teeters would not take bread out of this guys mouth but we were concerned about not knowing when. The installation went very smoothly and the workers ended up finishing very early. They cleaned up as good as can be expected. Wouldn't you know it, the weather turned warm after the install so we haven't had a good try out. We think has made a big difference in a number of rooms.

Brian Teeters spent a lot of time with us before any work was done, educating us about windows and helping us decide which brand and style would be the best for our home. We enjoyed working with him. The installation crew was very friendly and a pleasure to work with. They finished the job quickly; however, due to a manufacturer defect, some of the windows had scratched vinyl that would have gotten worse with time. Teeters contacted Vista Windows (the manufacturer), and a Vista employee came to our house to make all of the necessary repairs. I was impressed by the service provided by both Teeters and Vista. Our overall experience was great, and we love our new windows.

Brian Teeters was very helpful and patient in working with us to get what we were looking for. He worked up quotes on several different options so we could arrive at a final decision. The crews that came to the house were very professional and courteous. They worked hard to ensure we were satisfied with the results. We're very happy with the final result and the neighbors are still stopping by to compliment the upgraded look. The only complaint with the process (it's a minor one) was with the communication of the job status. They were very responsive when we called, but it would have been nice to have them inform us when work would be done instead of having to call to ask.

The installers did an excellent job, and I am pleased with the performance of the windows.

From the sales call to the final installation, they all were very responsive and willing to work around my schedule. They were a little late for the measuring appointment due to a communication breakdown around the Thanksgiving holidays. However, the team worked to keep their promise of new windows by Christmas. Can't say enough about Russ and Micah (installers)...they were courteous, experienced and friendly. They were very patient to answer my questions and soothe any fears I had about the outcome. They were very careful to respect my property. Russ is an artist when it comes to making the job look great. The stucco siding presented some real challenges but not only did the windows still look right on the house, they actually improved it's appearance. They created some nice frames around the windows and wrapped them in a carefully selected aluminum cap, the color is a perfect match to my existing trim.

Steve Moore, the salesperson, was easy to deal with, no high pressure. Installation was done by Larry and his son. They showed up on time and completed the job in a timely manner. Very satisfied with the installation and clean up. Totally satisfied with the company.

We met Brian at the showroom to pick out the exact windows for our home....we had old wooden casements that were original to the house, so we had lots of questions to be answered. He was very patient and non-pressuring as a salesperson. Russ and Micah finished the job in 4 days. They were very personable and engaged in conversation with me during their workday. They told me when they were leaving for lunch, if they took one. They showed on time, or at least called if there was a change in plans, particularly due to inclement weather. The job was done professionally, and they cleaned up every mess they made, even sweeping up extra leaves in our garage. We were very pleased with the entire process and love the work they did. It was quick, efficient, and they were pleasing to work with.

I MET WITH BRIAN TEETERS JUST BEFORE THANKSGIVING 2005 TO DISCUSS EXTERNAL REPAIR, AND SIDING WORK ON MY HOUSE. AT THAT TIME, BRIAN WAS ATTENTIVE, AND RESPONSIVE TO THE REPAIR WORK I WANTED. BRIAN AGREED TO GENERATE AN ESTIMATE FOR THE WORK AFTER OUR MEETING. A SUBSEQUENT PHONE CALL TO BRIAN, AFTER THE THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY WAS OVER, CONFIRMED THAT BRIAN HAD COMPLETED THE ESTIMATE, AND WOULD SEND IT OUT IN THE NEXT DAY'S MAIL. OVER TWO WEEKS HAVE PASSED, AND STILL NO SIGN OF THE ESTIMATE PROMISED BY BRIAN TO BE SENT IN THE MAIL. MY CALLS TO HIM, ASKING FOR AN EXPLANATION FOR THE ABSENCE OF THE ESTIMATE, GO UNRETURNED. BRIAN HAS DONE GOOD WORK IN THE PAST ON MY HOUSE, AND THE TRANSACTION WAS LEFT WITH NO UNSATISFIED PARTIES ON EITHER SIDE. I WILL MOVE ON TO OTHER CONTRACTORS, BUT IT IS IRRITATING TO NOT KNOW THE REASON BEHIND THE LACK OF COMMUNICATION ON BRIAN'S PART.

I WAS REALLY IMPRESSED WITH BRIAN. HE'S A PERSONABLE, HONEST, HIGH-QUALITY WORKER WITH A REAL KNOWLEDGE OF CRAFT AND QUALITY. I WOULD HIRE HIM IF THE OCCASION AROSE, DID NOT ON THIS OCCASION, BECAUSE WE DECIDED TO GO WITH PELLA WINDOWS, INSTEAD OF MARVIN, DUE TO LOOK (FOR A HISTORIC HOUSE, PELLA LOOKED BETTER, WITH THINNER MOLDINGS), AND MARVIN IS ALSO MORE EXPENSIVE, BUT THAT WASN'T REALLY A FACTOR IN OUR DECISION. WE ALSO TALKED ABOUT BUILDING AN ADDITION, AND HE GAVE GREAT ADVICE, TOOK TIME IN A RELAXED AND THOUGHTFUL MANNER TO ANSWER QUESTIONS AND LOOK AT THINGS I HAD NOT ASKED FOR IN THE CALL FOR THE APPOINTMENT. I LIKE HIM A GREAT DEAL. HE ALSO RECOMMENDED AN ARCHITECT WE ALREADY HAD SPOKEN TO, WHOM DURABLE SLATE REC'D ALSO. A GREAT SIGN THAT TEETERS ALSO VALUES QUALITY. WAS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN OTHER ESTIMATES, BUT NOT OUTRAGEOUS, I THINK IT'S BECAUSE HE'S A CONTRACTOR DOING THE WINDOWS, RATHER THAN A WINDOW COMPANY DIRECTLY.

DID NOT LIKE QUALITY OF PRODUCT PRESENTED. SALESMAN MADE NEGATIVE COMMENTS ON COMPETITORS PRODUCTS (INDIRECT BUT I KNEW WHO HE MEANT).

HAVE BEEN VERY RESPONSIVE. COMMUNICATION HAS BEEN EXCELLENT. VERY HAPPY WITH SERVICE EXPERIENCE.

BRUCE AND HIS SON WERE A GOOD TEAM. THEY WORKED QUIETLY AND EFFICIENTLY. IT WAS QUALITY WORK IN A MINIMUM AMOUNT OF TIME.

INSTALLER HAD SEVERAL CHALLENGES DURING INSTALLATION. HE STUCK TO IT AND MET THE CHALLENGE AND WAS UP BEAT WHILE DOING IT. PAINTER MADE SEVERAL TRIPS IN PERFECTING THE CORRECT FINISH FOR THE DOOR INTERIOR UNTIL HE CAME UP WITH THE PERFECT SOLUTION. HE APPLIED THE FINISH QUICKLY WITHOUT RUSHING THE JOB.

LARRY WAS METICULOUS, COMPETENT, and COOPERATIVE. HE ANSWERED QUESTIONS and OFFERED SUGGESTIONS. I WOULD BE VERY READY TO HAVE LARRY WORK AGAIN AT MY HOUSE, OR RECOMMEND TO A FRIEND. HE EVEN PLAYS THE FIDDLE.

THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT. THE CRAFTSMEN WHO INSTALLED THE PORCH WINDOWS WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO GIVE THE COMPLETED PROJECT A PROFESSIONAL APPEARANCE. BRIAN TEETERS WAS THE ONLY CONTRACTOR WHO PRICED THIS PROJECT TO UNDERSTAND WHAT WE WANTED AS FAR AS COMPLETED APPEARANCE - SOMETHING LIKE A FARM OUTBUILDING. IT WAS HIS SUGGESTION TO FINISH THE EXTERIOR IN STUCCO TO MATCH THE HOUSE, AND THERE WAS NO ARGUMENT ABOUT THE DESIGN OF THE ROOF TRUSSES AND THE FRONT OVERHANG WE WANTED. THE CONSTRUCTION TIMING WAS NOT IDEAL AS WE WANTED THE WORK DONE IN THE WINTER. THE COMPANY'S CRAFTSMEN AND SUBCONTRACTORS DID VERY WELL WITH THE PROJECT, CONSIDERING THE COLD WEATHER AND MUDDY CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH THE WORK WAS ACCOMPLISHED.

JASON EXHIBITED HELPFUL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE EXPERTISE IN DESIGNING OUR NEW WINDOW LOOK. THE INSTALLERS WERE WONDERFUL, FRIENDLY AND METICULOUS IN THEIR WORK. THEY CLEANED UP BEAUTIFULLY. PROMPT FOLLOW UP ON PROBLEM AREAS. WE LOVE OUR NEW WINDOWS!

THIS IS MY 4TH TEETER'S JOB. EXCELLENT IN EVERY WAY. I LOVE THEM. THE INSTALLER, MCCAW, WAS A PERFECTIONIST AND FOUND A SOLUTION FOR ALL THE COMPLICATIONS HE ENCOUNTERED. HE WAS THE BEST INSTALLER TEETERS HAS EVER SENT ME, SOME HAVE NOT BEEN GOOD. JASON RILEY, SALESPERSON, IS THE BEST! JASON GAVE ME A GOOD DISCOUNT TOO, AS I AM A FAITHFUL REPEAT CUSTOMER.

EXCELLENT WORKMANSHIP. COURTEOUS. CLEANED UP ALL DEBRIS.

JOHN AND HIS CREW WERE VERY THOROUGH AND POLITE. I WILL USE TEETERS AGAIN.

THE SALESPERSON (JASON) WAS VERY GOOD AT EXPLAINING ALL MY OPTIONS FOR NEW WINDOWS, AND ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS. THE INSTALLER (LARRY) STAYED IN TOUCH REGARDING INSTALLATION AND WHAT TO EXPECT. BOTH WERE ALWAYS PUNCTUAL AND PROFESSIONAL.

I GUESS I AM LUCKY COMPARED TO SOME OTHER PEOPLE WHO HAVE HORROR STORIES WITH VARIOUS COMPANIES.

VERY PLEASED WITH THE QUALITY OF WORK AND THE QUALITY OF WINDOW. HOWEVER, THEY HAD TO CANCEL INSTALLATION TWICE BECAUSE OF VEHICLE TROUBLES.

WORK DONE SATISFACTORILY AND ON TIME. BUT IN PROCESS, DOORBELL WIRING WAS SEVERED AND NEVER REPAIRED, ALTHOUGH REQUESTED TWICE.
