For fixing side of the house with shingles, paiting, & fix the wood beams on the front & back of our house- they took came out after few delays, finally came out , did fix up, then after some delays, did paint job, when they left without cleaning the mess , also left stain marks on the wall, supervisor said he’ll come out to inspect, but never showed up( he called multiple times saying excuse why he can’t come), workes came out to clean up, but it looks worse than before! Very unhappy with their LOUSY& unprofessional work !

Very poorly. First Jamie Kuhn (sales person) came out in August was very nice; seem to be honest. But it turn out not to be. I think he was over charging me. Jamie explained to me that the siding would be done first and the following next day the gutters and gutter guards would be complete. I gave him a down payment of $8000.00 on 08/24/2021 for him to order material to do the job. The siding guys started the siding winter around Nov or Dec 2021 They sent out workers to do the siding and when they were done; left all the material in my drive way and left the old siding on my lawn where cats poop all under it. The siding guys did the dryer vents and when I went to connect the dryer hose they both fell out side of the home on the deck. They were never connected to the house and they were very cheap plastic and very large boxes sticking out of my home. I had to put towels to keep the cold air out. I called Jamie told him the problems and he order me some flat dryer vents. The siding guys came out and removed the dryers vents and put no replacements; did not tell me and someone removed the dump. I went into the laundry room because I felt cold air in family room where I saw two large holes in the wall over the dryer. Rats could have came into my home. I put shirts into the holes again. It took more than three days or more and I couldn't move my car out of the garage. The siding guys work day and night until after dark with headlights on head. After the siding guys completed the siding no one came to do the gutters the next two days and it rain. I called Jamie and told him my carpet and floor got wet by sliding doors on the back deck since they did not do the gutters and ask him where were the gutters. He stated they did not have my 5" gutters but they had the 6" gutters. They sent someone out to put a short 6" gutter over my deck where the floor got wet. It rain again. The floor didn't get wet this time however; the rain was too close to the house. Jamie told me that they only had 6" gutters and they can finish my house with those. I ask him will those look good on this small home. He continue to say how better they would be etc. and how they were more expensive and will not charge me additional money (all lies). When the 6" gutters were complete it rain the when I went out the door rain drops fell on my head. The gutters look like something that would be on a barn. The design curved on the right side of my home instead installing it straight downward; it was so large it make my home look terrible. The guy that was installing the gutters ask me was I fixing it up to sale because of the large gutters. He was surprise to see them. The gable vent on the front house over the garage is a large box against my home. When we spoke in August he stated to it would be like the one I had flush to the house fitting inside the hole. I check the reviews on Angi and BBB and they have A+. They never sent no one out to inspect the job. I check the job to fine so many errors. 1). Siding around the dryer vents is cut badly and siding guy ask me do I want him to use putty around it and I said no replace the siding. 2). Corner on the deck, the gutter was so big it is not connected under the gutter; and a piece of the soffit is hanging. 3). Gutters need to be replace with 5" gutters as in contract. 4). The barn looking curve gutter on right side of house need to be attach going down. 5). Gutters guards replace with small holes. 6). the siding trim on the window on the deck need to be attached (the bottom corners are sticking out. I don't know what else is wrong with this project. Jamie said his Bose would come out and see what my complaints are. He came out to home and as he was walking up to my home talking to his wife on the phone and said to her that he had to hang up (Quote: because he had to deal with a crazy home owner). I hear him on my video alarm camera. I called the Office and then Nathaniel came out to home discuss the problem he didn't listen to me at all snd said to me that he was not going to change the gutters and everything else looks good. I waited a few days and called Jamie and told him if all things are not repaired they will not get paid and I may be taking other action. Jamie also told me that he never said to me the 5"gutters didn't come in. Yes he did and I told him he did say this to me. I would like to get this job inspected by someone else to see if the job is done correct at their expense. I do not trust Summit at all. I will be contacting my insurance company for the siding to see if they can inspect the job. The other items I am paying out of my pocket. I told Jamie not to come to my home unless it's 40 + degrees so I can see what they doing. They need to wait until no snow is in the gutters. I want no holes in my home wrap nor siding when doing the work. When they hook the door bell it didn't work. I told them it was wired as the one they took off. They had to replace the siding also. This have given me headaches and my nerves are bad. Because I am a female they feel the can talk to me like anything. I'm Military I learned to listen and analyze the situation and wait a few days. No one is going to talk to me that way. Very disrespectful and not honest. I

It was a challenge. Summit had to find panels that would match the rest of the roof. This meant going all over Ohio to make that happen. They did this without charging extra. They kept me informed and explained every step of the way. While I certainly don’t want more problems with my roof, I would hire them in a minute if that happened.

Great job fixed spot where I had a leak

Communication was not good. I approved the work in early May. Dates were set for the work and no one showed or called. This want on for at least 7 phone calls between May and June. Finally someone showed to do the work. They took the tarp I had on the roof and left all the construction waste. I called again and they promised to get the garbage the next day. I called a week later to remind them the garbage was still there and asked about the tarp. They said the tarp was ruined but for some reason it was not with the rest of the trash. Eventually they cleaned up, did not credit me for the tarp but I paid them anyway. Hopeful the roofing repairs are good. Customer service was not great.

The tech came out and worked diligently to complete the repair work. He was friendly and fast. He showed me pieces that the raccoons chewed up. He told me my roof has many more years of life too. No pressure to buy more! I will definitely hire them again when I need Roofing work.

They were very responsive to our request for a quote and came out despite a snow storm at the promised time. They were quick and professional during the installation process and very reasonably priced.

Have used Summit Roofing Repair a few times, recent and in past. Spoken in depth with owner prior to each appointment and on job site each time to discuss scope of work details. Didn't use the Angies List DEAL button because we had discussed Deal over phone as always. Unfortunately this time the work was unacceptable. Spoke with Jason upon arrival to review expectations as always. Instead of watching as I usually do with every contractor I was busy this time. Pictures were provided with same small issues as in past, nail pops, nail holes , reseal shingles, caulk nail holes. Jason was in a rush this time, even forgot his ladder to get to next appt.Even forgot to perform paid for service ( •Check for interior leaks that may not be noticeable from the exterior of your home). Time passed, had another contractor at home to perform different job, however; since he was also a roofer, asked him for a free roof estimate just to re-check since roof is older. To my surprise, the contractor had a laundry list of issues that were accompanied by photos of the issues. List of roof issues missed or overlooked by Summit roofing are as follows: . Seal and secure loose apron flashing on front porch roof . Seal exposed nails . Fix nail backing through shingle . Replace missing shingle by heat stack . Seal storm collar on heat stack . Replace damage shingle around harness roof anchor . Replace damaged shingles around soil boot flashing . Seal holes in shingles . Re-seal nails and holes in shingles . Seal staples in bond lines Needless to say was disappointed and angry. Had to pay additional dollars to get these repairs that should have at least been brought to my attention for at least additional pricing , and/or repaired. These issues would eventually lead to water leaks/damage overtime. Attempted to notify Jason via Angies List message system of findings to discuss before any review was made, as a matter of courtesy on my side, no return contact. Thus, this review. Luckily I found a coupon so I didn't loose additional $99 dollars. Ironic though, last question I asked before Jason left, is roof ok enough to get through until next year, answer was no problem.

Called Summit and left a voicemail. Received a quick call back. Called around noon and they agreed to come out same day given more rain was in the forecast in the coming days. Jason called, gave me a time and was very punctual. He listened to my issue and spent time diagnosing the problem. He recommended some quick fixes and completed them to my satisfaction. I have an old roof and was concerned it might be to blame for my issues. Jason was very up front and stated he thought I could get three more years out of it, much to my surprise. Really appreciated his honesty and quick response. Will be reaching back out to them when I decide to replace my roof. Great experience.

Jason was very punctual, friendly and helpful. He climbed up on my roof with a hose and sprayed areas on the step flashing and a window in that area. He was able to reproduce the leak after spraying the window. The reapairs done to seal the window were done in a very timely manner. He also texted pictures of the work in progress.

It was a very good service. Very professional and they accomplish work in a timely fashion. And the clean up was good.

They gave us an estimate about 18 months prior and repaired several popped nails, etc. Finally, though, we experienced some leaking and realized the time had come. They honored the estimate even though it was over a year old. The crew showed up and did a great job quickly. By 4pm the job was finished and the site cleaned up. Everyone was professional, friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs roofing done right and at a reasonable price.

The person I talked to was Jason, & i appreciate him telling me everything & guided me through in doing everything properly, he always respond to my concern; He was reffered to me by a local statefarm agency. They work very well with my insurance company, and with my mortgage company as well; the replacement went excellent, no problems at all, they made all appointments that was scheduled by the insurance company, they met all the requirements, and they were actually ahead of schedule in finishing up the whole project. Jason made it easy for me, he is a blessing for me to have him finish this project.

I have known the owner, he is honest and do great work.

It went very well as far as I can see. The workers were here before 8:00 am and took about 5 hours to completion. They cleaned up extremely well.

It went well. The proposed cost was about 85% of the other quote we received. There was some delay in installation of gutter guards because they had to be special ordered. The team leads were courteous and helpful.

they were very knowledgeable and we were impressed with their ratings on AL and the BBB, but after needing to reschedule we've never heard from them again. we've been trying to get in touch with them for 2 months to no avail. now we get to start the process all over again.

I wasn't there but the worked looked to be completed very well.

The ones I had just really weren't doing a good job. They replaced it. I had them give an estimate for it when they were here for a roofing job. There was a mixup with what was ordered. It took a while. They left stuff sitting here for a couple of days. I had to get the guy to come back and check it. They had told him that it was all done and it wasn't. They had not taken away the old stuff. It was done but I don't know if it was like subcontractors or other guys that was doing this. I don't know.

Great work and went the extra mile when needed. Would use them again down the road.

They were okay. What I didn't care for is they inspected a lot of different roofs I had and said there was a lot of work needed done. I had another company look at the roofs and I got the feeling that the situation wasn't as bad. The work they did do was fine.I just think they were trying to sell me more then I needed to be sold. They did show up when they said they would. The work was done in a day or two. The work was just fine, I would give them an A. I would just hesitate to use them because they told me there was more work that needed done. They could be a little more straight forward.

Punctual, professional. Asked for other estimates for work to be done (twice) and never heard from again. Oh well.
