Stryker Pest Control did a great job diagnosing and treating the problem within 20 minutes of arrival. John, the owner, explained what these were (yellow jackets), where the nest was and how he would treat it to kill them. I'm pleased to report it's been two days without any additional problems. I would have given straight A's except that he was 20 minutes late, although the office did call to let me know that. I would definitely use Stryker again for any pest problem.

Stryker is an extremely prompt and professional company in all aspects. They return phone calls and schedule appointments quickly. John and all of the technicians are friendly and reassuring, explaining everything. The attention to detail and the care they give each customer is priceless. They are priced fairly and reasonably and will not charge or perform services that are not necessary. You can tell this is a family run business that cares about their customers.

This is simply a great business. I've used them twice now, raccoon removal from chimney and to take a look through my attic as there were signs of animals. On both occasions, they were extremely prompt, professional, and got the job done. Very reasonably priced. I would recommend them to anyone needing pest control in the Columbus area.

The hornets nest removal went great! Mr. Adair was very professional, friendly, and excellent at getting rid of the hornets nest. He explained the process, and got it done quickly, efficiently and thoroughly. I was soooo relieved to be rid of that hornets nest! This was my first experience with Styrker Pest Control and I can't recommend them highly enough. Next time I have a pest problem I will call them! Five Stars!

Our unexpected house guests caused quite a trauma. John was amazing. He calms everyone and you cannot help but be impressed with his knowledge and skill. He doesn't overcharge for what you don't need. I never thought I would ever be a fan of a Pest Control person, but I am truly grateful that we found him on Angies List. He is the guru of his craft. I will only use him going forward.

I was very impressed from the moment they called and said they could come earlier if that was convenient for me, to the time they left. I really appreciated the sense of customer service from John when he called about 1.5 hours ahead of their appointment to say they could come earlier because they had an appointment cancel. I was impressed that they cared about my time and my availability before theirs. John did a full inspection of our house to locate entry points, he talked about each one and even told us how to fix them ourselves. I appreciated that he took the time to educate me about my house and how mice can get in. They brought along several black boxes and put them in the areas they felt would most likely come in contact with the mice. The entire time, John fully explained what he was doing and how it all was going to work. In the end, he made me feel comfortable that what they were doing would take care of our mice problem and assured us that we could fill these entry points on our own. I really appreciated that because it would be easy for a contractor to make you feel the opposite and give you an outrageous estimate to do it. When asked for an estimate for them to come back and seal up these entry points, I was shocked how low the price was. Finding a good contractor that you can trust is very hard. I chose Stryker because of their reviews on Angie's list and they didn't disappoint. I would highly recommend calling John and his team again for any of your pest control needs. They are the best!

It went great. They arrived on time and removed the nest and patched the hole. They were half the price of their competitors. Only negative was I had to wait a couple weeks to get it scheduled but it was worth the wait!

Stryker has worked on multiple rental properties for us. We have had them help us with ant control, as well as, rodent control with mice and raccoons. They are always very friendly and professional. Their prices are very good and they let you know in advance what the cost will be and what they will be doing to eradicate whatever problems you are having. They do a very thorough job and we would recommend them to anyone in need of their services.

It went very well. John, the owner, explained exactly what he was doing and what would happen. He sprayed around the baseboards of the room where the ants were appearing then he sprayed outside. He said he sprayed inside the room because when he sprayed outside the ants would come running into the room. He also sprayed the connecting wall in the garage. He sprayed all around the house and up the walls of the outside of the house. When he saw the ants coming out of 2 places, he concluded there was a nest in each place and fogged the entryways. John explained how the ants were getting into the far wall. He said some people don't see any ants and other people see a carpet of ants the next day. I'm glad I shut the door to this room and stuffed a towel under the door because it was actually a half hour after he left when I checked the room and there were a lot of ants. The towel kept them from coming into the rec room! I was able to sweep them up with a dust pan there were so many! He said to contact him if I see anymore after a week and he'd come back out no charge. There's also a 60 day guarantee. There were only a few in the room today so I think they are all gone. John also knew from my description that the wasp that was stuffing grass into the window upstairs was a paperwasp. I also drew him a picture of the size of a tiny hard shelled bug I was seeing every once in awhile during the day. I knew it wasn't a bedbug because they only come out at night. He pulled up a photo on his cell and identified it as a "carpet beetle" and told me about it's habits! Now that John did such a good job, I can get the baseboard repaired in that room. Thanks John.

I called Strykers pest control because I was having issues with carpenter bees on my deck. From the first call they were friendly and responsive. John came out to my house and looked at the situation and explained to me what he was going to do. He listened to what I had to say and answered all my questions. He said there was a 30 day warranty and if I had any issues they would come out as many times as they had to get rid of them. He had to come out again as I was having a minor issue with the carpenter bees, but not as bad as the first. He again explained to me what he was going to do. I am happy to say as of today I have not seen any carpenter bees on my deck. John was very responsive and a pleasant person to work with. I will use him again.

It went very well. Not only will the ants stop and they have but also the spraying treats the house for lots of other insects. Since the spray is to the outside, it felt safer for me. There was a slight odor for about 12 hours but opening the windows solved that problem. I will have them treat the house again in the fall. I was impressed with how professional this company is. I was given good material, the person who came out was professional and knowledgable, the equipment used was first class. It is a small, local company which is very well managed from what I experienced. I have had big national companies send out a person before who was not professional. Stryker is quality all the way. Will use the company again and recommend the company.

John and his team are excellent. Their responsiveness and customer service are outstanding. They were all very knowledgeable and were able to help determine the issues and solve the problems. I wouldn't hesitate recommending them to friends and family.

The owner, John, personally visited twice, the second time just to reassure us (and to double-check that all was working fine). Their service was so good that I will never call anyone else. Professional through and through.

I had some raccoon in my attic they attempted to trap them with no success, they gave me a bell which I didn't pay, they left the trap and they left it the attic and so we had to go up everyday and make sure nothing was in them. We ended up taking them out and putting them on the porch and tell them to come and get their rusty traps but they didn't, try to bill me over and above what their special was.

John came out, precisely on time, after calling to confirm the appointment and location, which I very much appreciated. He reviewed the house and fence (both wood) and found two carpenter bee 'nests' that needed to be removed. He explained everything very clearly and precisely to my wife, which helped her understand the scope of the problem and how to deal with it in the best manner. He also reviewed the yard in the front of house and found an extensive carpenter ant nest (which we didn't know were actually carpenter ants), and dealt with those as well. The total cost was about half of what we were quoted, which was also a pleasant surprise! Overall, it was a great experience and I would totally use these guys again for any issue that came up with creepy crawlies! I couldn't recommend them enough.

I called Stryker to schedule them to come out to investigate a mouse issue. I wanted them to find areas where they are getting into the house and seal them up. The lady on the phone explained that was something that they could do, though they would likely set up some traps first and make sure they are all gone, since you don't want to trap mice in your house. That was all well and good. She said they could come out in a few days and I scheduled for 9am on that day. When that day came I sat around my house until 9:45 until I decided they weren't coming and I went to work. So not only did they lie about coming that day, they also didn't call to apologize for missing or to reschedule, and they also made me miss 1.5 hours of work for nothing. I don't feel the need to call them back to explain the mistake. If I've never used your company before and you stand me up, you don't get a second impression. I have to say I'm pretty disappointed because the reviews led me believe my experience would be different. On to the next company.

John completely explained the behavior of termites and the chemical treatment needed to get rid of them. He was very professional and explained all aspects of the service. He returned one week after the treatment to make sure everything was OK. There is a two-year warranty where someone will come and inspect the house and grounds at 12 month intervals to see if there is any termite activity and to re-treat at no further cost if necessary. The crew came exactly as scheduled to do the treatment and cleaned up well afterwards. i would definitely use them again.

Amber was great! Pointed out several points of entry, recommended remediation steps, pointed out missed things from our home inspection, and overall was great to work with.

Owner came to house himself. Was friendly, courteous, respectful and professional. Consulted on our rodent problem and recommended solution; didn't try to sell unnecessary services. Performed insect control service after we purchased a thrice yearly plan that guarantees insect control for a full year. Outstanding company. Truly outstanding.

I called Stryker and spoke with Emily. She explained how the service worked, that they'd bring out cage traps, survey the area for openings to the nest, and set them. She also explained their charges. I set up an appointment. When Amber got here, I showed her the two openings to the nest. She demonstrated the cages and how to set the mechanisms and told me that groundhogs like apple slices. So we set two traps. They also explained to me that, according to Ohio law, the cage traps needed to be checked every 24 hours. That was my responsibility. Two days later, we had our first critter but it wasn't a groundhog, it was an opossum. So, I called. They promptly picked up the opossum, telling me that he'd have a new home out in the country by nightfall. Then 3 days passed before I had another critter. It was another opossum. Two hours after the opossum was picked up, I also had the groundhog. So, they came again to pick up the groundhog. Then two days later I had another opossum. That was the last of the critters from the underground nest. I did manage to get some squirrels in the cage traps but a quick call to Stryker assured me that I could safely let them go without harm to either them or me and reset the traps. I kept the traps baited and ready for a week after the last opossum was captured just to assure myself that there were no other critters in the nest, checking them frequently to make sure that they were empty or that a squirrel captured by mistake was released. I was pleased that they didn't rush me at the end to pick up the traps; they trusted my judgment about how long to leave the traps out at the garage. Everyone at Stryker was just wonderful to work with. I had never had to call a pest control company so I didn't know what to expect. But I was treated well by everyone that I spoke with. Both John and Amber who came to my home are really personable, professional people and they obviously care for the humane treatment of the animals while solving my problem of unwanted guests. And they were very familiar with my neighborhood, having worked with some homeowners nearby. The bill was reasonable and they fully explained my responsibilities under Ohio law to me. They provided assistance to me by telephone when I found the first squirrel in the cage trap and they gave me the confidence to release them myself. But the option was always available at a standard charge for them to come release the animal. Knowing that they could back me up if something went terribly wrong with a skittish animal was very helpful.

I called several different pest control companies after discovering the animal in our attic. The prices to remove a single animal ranged from $300 on up to $800. Unfortunately, so many of the service providers could only schedule for several days out due to availability, and since this animal was now trapped inside our house with no way out, we needed to remove the animal before it caused any damage. When I came upon the listing for Stryker, the reviews were great, and upon calling, I was greeted by the owner. He was extremely personable and knowledgeable, and I could tell he was very interested in helping me out. He didn't have an appointment available until the morning after the next day, but he stressed how important it was to get the animal out before it realized it was trapped. He even went as far as giving me contact information for another pest control company that may be able to make it sooner. I called the company he suggested, and even they were booked, so I scheduled my appointment with Stryker for their first available time, and decided to try trapping it myself. Luckily I was able to catch the animal on the first night, but I know if I have anything similar that I don't feel comfortable handling myself in the future, I will call Stryker. Even when I called to cancel my appointment for the next morning, the representative was very friendly.

Stryker was able to come out within two days of my purchasing the deal. Amber was wonderful. She is the kind of person you want to have on your team. She was very straight forward and told me the how-to's of repairing rodent entry points that another company had quoted me thousands of dollars to do. She was friendly and trustworthy. I look forward to the rodents being gone!

The owner came out and was very professional. He put down traps and located the entry way and guarantee that I would not have any further problems. He took his time and looked everywhere that they could possibly enter. Thanks for representing your company in person.
