If you call them if there is something in the trap they will come out and remove it from trap. They are not so fast on the weekend.

They were prompt, friendly and completed the work in a timely manner. They followed up a few days later to make sure the treatment was successful.

He placed the traps and we waited but since him placing the traps seems to have scared the raccoons away they did not charge me

I found STRYKER on Angie's List with a special for $25 off, and to resolve the problem for an out the door cost of $200 (including however many visits were needed within a 6 month warranty period) ! Additionally, I inquired about a group deal with my neighbors who had complained about spiders, and STRYKER offered an additional $25 off. When I asked if he could give a better deal to my neighbors because I was the one with a more serious ant issue, he worked with ALL of us even further on an even better price. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! This company is excellent! Chris, and the office team were responsive , attentive, and effective, and we will use them for office and home on all future projects. We have tried several other pest control companies in Columbus and had mediocre results and multiple applications. Wish we had used Stryker all along.

I recently discovered that I had bats living in my shutters so I began to look into exterminators. I’m a member of Angie’s List so I started there. I went through the “recommended” and ended up leaving quite few voicemails. Upon calling Stryker I was greeted by an informative individual. She notified me that bats are protected until sometime in September but recommended I get on their list just in case. I scheduled an appointment with them since no one else was answering their phones (unusual since that would be how a company would get business). The day before my appointment I received a call from Stryker confirming the time and location. A great idea because my time (and theirs) is money. The day of the appointment the owner of the company came over. He pointed out the trouble locations and explained my options. The least expensive was removing the shutters. My shutters need replaced and he provided a few tips on how to prevent future infestations. I have a stone front so haven’t removed the shutters yet. We began to talk about additional issues I was having with spiders, other creatures and bird mites. I explained my symptoms and he provided recommendations. My most concerning were the bird mites. I had started researching them prior to talking with John so I understood his recommendations for getting rid of them. The webistes I looked at indicated it may be difficult to get rid of them (numerous treatments). We agreed on the treatments I wanted and scheduled a date. His team of three showed up and were extremely professional to deal with. We had a ton of questions and they answered EVERY one of them! They explained that it would take an hour to do the treatment then an additional three for my family to be out of the house. They also mentioned there may be a lingering odor for a few hours. That evening there were NO BUGS!! Everything gone!! I am apparently extra sensitive to the mites because no one else was getting bitten. I called Stryker and discussed the issue with John. He recommended doing an additional treatment (no cost). Since that second treatment I have not gotten bitten!! There are NUMEROUS companies that one can choose to deal with but I’ve been thoroughly impressed with these folks from my initial phone call throughout EVERY interaction with them. Strongly recommend them for any pest issues (John has a few pictures he may be willing to share).

Beware anyone with environmental sensitivities. I had informed John that I have a severe environmental sensitivity to VOC's ( volatile organic compounds) but he assured me these bait stations were pet & child safe so I agreed. He set out the stations & came back a couple of weeks later to rebait stations. He showed up on porch with a huge covered pail of mouse poison. I immediately noted an odor & began to have a VOC reaction - throat symptoms. I mentioned this but John said it was odorless & covered with lid & inferred I couldn't be having a reaction. Fumes could easily escape from that pail & I know when I have a VOC reaction & typically what is causing it. This is not necessarily a toxicity issue but environmental sensitivity. John is very punctual, friendly & informative with lots of experience. He had previously helped me with an ant issue and a wasp issue. Yet not happy with this situation. We ended up tossing the bait stations & just set out traps. So $$ paid for nothing. I try very hard to avoid these reactions since they are severe & was very upset that this occurred.

We had a mouse problem in the house that we moved into. They came out promptly and put traps inside and outside the house. The traps we're supposed to poison the mice so that they would flee the house in search of water. After a few days we had dying mice meandering around the house. After that, I went out and purchased snap traps to round up any remaining mice. I killed about another dozen or so. My problem is that about a month after the service company came out we started to have a really bad fly infestation which I am fairly certain is due to dead mice in ducts and hidden areas of the house that we can't access. We're now killing about 20-30 flies a day and have seen them crawl out of the vents. Our HVAC vents are on a slab and can't be accessed. I hired them on the basis of eliminating the pest problem but we've traded one pest for another. I think they are probably a good service but I feel like we were charged a lot for a service that caused more damage than good.

Work was done effectively and completed despite bad weather on day of service call.

Chris was great. We got rid of al of the rats and prevented them from getting into the house.

I have gone all summer With no spiders , no weird bugs not even an ant. I had to kill a spider every morning just to take a shower before Stryker came. I recommend this place to anyone. they have been so nice and easy to work with and their service is effective. Also I had a huge Spider show its self on my back deck 2 nights ago first one I have seen in months, called stryker this morning and they are coming tomorrow to evict that sucker so we can take my dog outback again. I also recommend if you have decks have them give you the "vest" it keeps wood burrows from burrowing in your deck and they completely quit coming around from day they applied it.

Tammy was great on the initial phone call, answered ALL my questions, and had great answers when I asked "Why you? Why not one of the big national chains?". Promptly scheduled around my vacation, plus around getting my cat treated on the same day. Chris showed up just a few minutes early, explained the process, insisted on answering ALL my questions of him! He also 'warned' me of the whole time-line process, plus they promise to come back out if a second treatment is needed - at no cost to me!

Stryker was excellent! Very professional and so reasonable. They called a couple days prior to the date scheduled because it was going to rain that day and rescheduled the treatment so that I could get the most out of it. They were easy to communicate with, friendly, punctual and very efficient. One of the best services I've used in a long time. I definitely recommend this company!

The guy from Stryker came out and told me they were most likely "Carpenter Bees" which bore holes in wood, and only the females sting, and then only when provoked. He walked all around my house, took his time and looked carefully for a nest. He didn't find one. He said a common scenario is someone removing a woodpile and encountering them that way. He was so nice, said there was no charge for the inspection, and to call back if they bother me again.

Lot of work involved in preparing for the treatment. Had two treatments over two week period. At this point it appears to have been successful. I have a two month guarantee. They were very prompt in responding and Chris was very helpful in explaining the process. Prior to this John came out and said I had drugstore beetles, told me how to get rid of them, and did not charge me since he did not need to provide treatment

The owner actually came out and knew exactly what to use on the ants that were coming into our kitchen area. He walked the interior and exterior with my husband and treated the kitchen area. After a day or two of treating, we did see more ants but he said to expect it as they are coming to feast on the sweet liquid he put around certain areas where the ants were seen. Within that same week, we noticed a difference and haven't seen any since!

I have known owner, John, for many years--even before he started his own very successful company. On this particular occasion I had a problem with ants--as is very common this year. I had the pleasure of meeting lead technician, Chris. He was very knowledgeable, personable, and professional. I appreciated that he called me giving me a specific time of arrival. What I did NOT know is that I had "ant issues" where I was trying to grow grass after a maple tree removal--this is because roots are dying and they are moving away from the roots and to your home and elsewhere to find food. This company has the most-current and powerful ways to treat insect issues. Chris used a gel inside the house at entry points (wonderful 'food' the ants love and take back to the nest) which is non-toxic and basically invisible. On the outside he sprayed the entire house (and 3' out) as well as spots I had on my grass and the entire driveway. Chris is very knowledgeable about ants and has had a lot of training on how they behave. For many years, with previous issues, John, owner, has educated me on a LOT of things. Don't bother with any stuff at the store which may harm you or your property, and mostly waste your time and money. Call Stryker Pest Control and get the job done right!

Stryker is my go to place for all my pest control needs. From a stink bug fall in invasion to when the kids brought home more than dirty clothes from a hotel trip Stryker has always knocked out the problem quickly and efficiently.

As stated above, everything was resolved and seems fine.

Technician was prompt and thorough. He did not detect any evidence of termites. My home was treated for an active infestation of termites 13 years ago. He reassured me that the treatment was still effective.
