Response from Stryker Pest Control LLC
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. While we don't like to see lower review ratings, it's understandable that sometimes miscommunication can leave someone unhappy. You had purchased a rodent (mice/rat) service from Angie's List for us to complete. However, the problem you had was Squirrels and our pricing is different for that type of service. So at that point we let you know we could apply what you did pay to the service. Our cost for Animal Removal is $60 our first trip and $ 50 each trip after. The state law states the traps must be checked every 24 hours. So to save our customers money, we work it out that they (the customer)check the traps daily and call us when an animal is trapped. This saves you money by not paying us to check empty traps. As for fixing any hole the animals may have made, we can repair some holes or make a temporary patch to them. When we first discussed this, we let you know we would look at it and let you know if we could and how much it would cost to do so. However, the hole is beyond our capability to repair, so a handyman/contractor is recommended to do it correctly. We set these traps for you on 11/4/15. We had not heard from you and we checked the traps several times in November. On Dec. 14, 2015 we called and spoke with a woman who said you would still like to keep the traps, but are not hearing any noises. We called and left a message on 1/02/2016 again on 1/11/2016 and again on 1/26/2016. We decided that we can not get in touch with you to find out what is going on or to use a different method, so we pulled our traps on 1/27/2016. If at any time you would like to hear any of the conversations above, including the first one outlining how our trapping works and our voicemails we left you, we have them on file for you. Again, this may be miscommunication on our part that we could have called and left messages more often. Should you chose to use us again, we will make certain to do a much better job.
