We'd had problems with mice in the crawl space coming up into the living area and building a nest in the oven drawer. I called one company, but they wanted $100 just to do an evaluation. Stryker offered one-time rodent eradication, and that's what they did. Poison boxes were placed at strategic places and the tech did a careful review of the locations they might be entering the crawl and thence to the living area. She offered suggestions on how to prevent it in the future. The problems went away almost immediately. Very pleased. A pleasure to work with.

Found two little bats in the crawlspace of the basement. John Addair came to the house and surveyed basement to attic. Took pictures of what he found to show us - which was so helpful! Located some possible entry points - came back and fixed! John was knowledgeable, capable, clear in his explainations, punctual and just an all around great guy that you want to do business with.

I contacted them and they were able to provide service in only 3 days. Amber, the technician, was right on time, very professional and very informative. I appreciate that she didn't try to "up-sell" me as some pest control providers have in our previous home. So far so good and they give a 30 day warranty so I feel good about that.

Like it has for 20 years--Fabulous! There cannot be another exterminating company out there like this one! They know my house and its idiosyncrasies, potential rodent entry ways, where the dog roams so to keep bait out of her way, etc - just like they know their own. And my house and my concerns are treated just as if I was family. Year after year, we count on Stryker to come up with the right answer, at the right price and very responsively. I can't imagine using a large company with a new tech coming every year. And I would never leave them as all my issues (because the house is sited on a large, wooded piece of property) are always taken care of. I have total confidence in John and Stryker.

Would highly recommend Stryker. They did an excellent job of pest removal at a fair price. If you have "pest" issues, call them. Don't waste your time looking elsewhere.

very responsive and helpful. although the deal I bought was for rodent elimination, it was decided that the initial problem was due to raccoons and/or groundhogs. Fortunately they were entirely willing to put the money from the deal towards the trapping effort. Whent he trapping was done, there was still evidence of somthing burrowing in my garage, and at that point, the rat traps were baited. and that aspect of the problem was resolved as well. One of the techs did not properly set the live traps, and the bait was taken with out triggering the trap. When I reported this, they immediately sent someone out to re-bait and re-set the traps at no charge. I was very impressed with their service and would recommend them highly

They came on a Saturday, taught us a lot about animals and gave the most reasonable estimate. Instead of trapping the raccoons, possums and especially skunks. He told us to put moth balls in stockings and sat them by the entries. He suggested closing off all the entry points of where they were getting in our yard and we saw them again. He told us he treats people like he wants to be treated. He has our highest respect and gratitude.

From their immediate response to my email service request, to their quick scheduling and perfect arrival time to their friendly, professional, effective service, they earned my highest confidence. My initial contact was via email because it was shortly after business hours, but I got a call back almost instantly! The service available was explained and scheduling was prompt. Technician Amber arrived precisely at the agreed-upon time, assessed the problem at my home, explained the process and products she would be using to remedy it, and offered suggestions for ways to discouraging bees from returning. Her work was quickly and neatly accomplished, and I have had no problems since. I am completely pleased with this company, their people, their responsiveness, professionalism, and service. I appreciate the quality of their work, their reasonable cost, their guarantee, and, of course, the fact the fact that they solved my problem!

Amber came out to look the house over and the yard to see if there was any possible way for the skunk to come in or burrow near my home. At the time she came, we no longer had a skunk smell. She asked me many questions and also gave me a lot of information on skunks. I decided to not set the traps and she did not charge me for her services but offered to come back at any time to set traps if the skunk smell came back. She also gave me some great advise on how to fix my chimney which will end up saving me lots of money. She was wonderful. I found Amber to be extremely professional, smart and a pleasure to work with.

We had an extremely tough yellow jacket nest. Because Stryker honors their guarantee they returned three time (in good humor) to completely eradicate the yellow jackets using different treatments both inside and outside of the house. We were extremely pleased and now will never use anyone else for pest control.

We were having issues with litter coming thru a bathroom vent and we suspected that we had some type of pest in the attic. Stryker came out, arriving promptly at the scheduled time. They were very pleasant and professional. They did an outside survey of the house to see if there were any openings or sign of entrance by a pest, and then checked the attic. They did not find any sign of a pest. They were thorough and explained exactly what they saw and what it meant to us as homeowners. Because they did not find any sign of pests, they did not charge us for their services. We would highly recommend this business to anyone who suspects pests or is having problems with pests.

Our tenants left us with a severe flea infestation. I had never needed to rely on the services of an exterminator before and wasn't sure what to expect. From the first appointment I was presently surprised by their punctuality and professionalism. They take great pride in their work and sincerely wanted to make sure the flea issue was resolved.

I contacted Stryker around 11PM via email when I was notified of the problem. I received a return email almost immediately. Although I was out of town the following day, I received a phone call exactly when the email stated that I would receive a call. The employee was knowledgeable and courteous and assured me that someone would check out the nest ASAP. I received another phone call later in the day from the technician who was also knowledgeable and courteous. When I returned from my trip, the nest and bees were eliminated. The invoice that I received was exactly the amount of the quote. I recommend this company and appreciate their prompt and effective service.

I selected Stryker from Angie's because they were a local company, not a national franchise. They responded promptly and set two 'Have a Heart' traps at both ends of the deck. The first groundhog was captured literally within ten minutes. The second groundhog was captured later in the evening. The traps were reset each time and after no additional captures after a week I called them and they came to pick up their traps. One might think that if capturing groundhogs is this easy, why don't I do it myself? What are you going to do with the varmint once you catch it? Are you ready for an emergency room visit if the animal bites you? It is just not as simple as Stryker made it seem to be. The folks at Stryker are very efficient, very professional, and perhaps the most earnestly pleasant service providers I have dealt with in two decades. If you have a pest problem, you should strongly consider using Stryker to resolve your problem. They provide several discounts to Angie's List subscribers. They are well worth the cost regardless of the discount.

They exterminated the nest. Great service! He arrived when they said they would, he listened to me, accessed the situation, and advised me what he was going to do. He also gave me instructions and recommended for me to call back if any other activity showed up. Everything was through and I haven't seen any further activity.

We scheduled an appointment for 2pm Monday. They were on time, and very thorougher in checking the house inside and outside. Awesome Amber checked my attic, basement, sides of house and the backyard. She was very knowledgeable. She could see that I was terrified and reassured me that my home was secure from animals. I called Stryker because I had a hornet nest burrowed into the brick in the front of my house. I had also found a mouse inside and wanted my house checked. The owner answered my call right away and I say that because the first company I contacted did not return my calls until the next day. My cat caught the mouse but I wanted the house checked anyway. The technician did a thorough check of the house and found no infestation but put down baited traps anyway. She then treated the hornet nest and within an hour, the hornets were gone. I have seen no trace of them. She was friendly, very knowledgeable and I was impressed with her and the company. Going forward, I will definitely use them again and I would recommend them to anyone who has a pest problem.

When I called they were quick to schedule a technician at a specific time and give me an estimate. The tech, Amber showed up right on time and was professional and an excellent communicator. She explained everything about how she would handle it all, my warranty and addressed another issue which I thought was a chipmunk issue but she took me through how it was really a bird issue. Pointing out clues that I overlooked. She even made recommendations about how to address that problem. In the end she sprayed the yellow jackets with equipment which allowed her to get to the nest that my spraying with a can couldn't get to. And 2 hours later my clients could again safely come in my business. Haven't seen another one yet, but my warranty lasts 30 days so I know help is right there if I need it. I have been telling everyone what a great experience this has been.

I called and explained what was happening. The office staff quoted me a price to have them come out and set bait for mice. The worker came out and explained where the mice could possibly be coming in. She also told me what to do to stop them from coming in. She set bait all around and told me to call them if the problem did not clear up. I called back a week or so later because I was still seeing them. They came back right away (the owner was with her). They put out more product and did not charge me one additional dime. They were very professional. I will tell others about them and will use them again if I need to.

Very honest employee. She was unable to find any which I was thrilled about as I had been stung multiple times the previous week. My lawn care company had used a chemical on the nest they found so they wouldn't get stung while mowing. I did continue to see some hornets flying around though as the days progressed. She didn't charge me a service call which I thought was very nice as she certainly could have. I have found my new company for the future.
