We purchased a 2200 sq ft town home with cathedral ceilings. Every room was VERY dark in various colors, ranging from DARK brown to DARK blue. The ceilings were cut in very poorly. We hired Stauffer Painting to paint the rooms that had the cathedral ceilings. Jerry and his staff were very professional, punctual, and work was done on time. After the paint had cured a couple of days, there were a couple of areas where the dark colors bled through. Jerry had no problem with sending over his employees to touch up the work. They did an excellent job, and we are VERY pleased with the results. Highly recommend them, and we would use them again in a heart beat!

Jerry Stauffer provided the lowest of three estimates we obtained. After evaluating reviews on Angie's List, we decided his bid was not only the most affordable for us, but his company appeared to be well-rated. We approved the bid and Jerry scheduled work a couple weeks later. When the work crew arrived, we were introduced to the foreman, Doug, who was very professional and knowledgeable. The entire job was completed in just a few weeks. They worked every day, weather-permitting. During the process, they identified areas where we needed some minor mortar repairs and where there was rotting wood. Rather than painting over these areas, they made sure we were aware of them and asked if we wanted to fix them prior to having them painted over. Although they were simple repairs we could have done ourselves, we requested a quote for them to fix them and as the price was extremely reasonable, we just had them do the repairs. Doug was extremely conscientious and after a couple times of talking with him, we had full confidence in him to do a good job. He was good about coordinating the relocating of vehicles to ensure cars weren't dusted with paint depending on wind direction and what part of the building they were working on. They did a fairly thorough cleanup of the area when they were finished. Jerry stopped by a few times during the job to check on the progress and to critique the final work, he saw a minor area he wanted to touch up, but overall they did a great work on painting such a large building. Also of the three estimates we obtained, Stauffer's was the only company that would guarantee the work. Not having had to claim any problems, I don't know how well they would honor the warranty, but they seem like good people who would stand behind their work.

They get back to you in timely manner and are very competent. I would have used them, but I had another opportunity with different company

Stauffers Painting Systems did an outstanding job staining the cedar siding on our house and painting all of the trim. The preparation work was exceptionally well done. Which made the final staining perfect. They were prompt, cleaned up at the end of each day, and worked with us to compete the job. I really liked getting the proposal and final invoice by email. It was so convenient. The final cost was the same as the proposal. A great experience working with your entire crew. Thanks.

I was needing the exterior of my home brightened up and I called three painters on Angie's List. All of them were within a few hundred dollars of each other, but I chose to work with Jerry. He responded to my calls and e-mails quickly and was pleasant to work with. He was able to give me a quote on the same day I called him and was able to have a worker come out a couple days later to power wash the house for painting. His crew came out at 8am and left about 5pm each day. They worked ALL day. They did not sit around. The painter was awesome. He had a great personality and was very thorough. He was very clean and did not drip or spill any paint anywhere. He went above and beyond. Jerry came out one day to check on the progress of the job. Great bunch of people to work with and I would use them again for sure!!

Jerry Stauffer came out prompty with estimate; work was started within week. Shawn was courteous, prompt, organized, professional, and fast. He used good quality paint and did excellent work along with complete clean-up. I would definitely use this company again. Very satisfied

They had to peel off old wallpaper so I found their price to be reasonable. They were wonderful to work with and kept you informed the whole time. I found them to be timely and conscientious with their work.

Communicated by email and phone, gave quote and performed all work requested. Painted ceilings in the house and were very through and clean when they painted. Did not even know they were there. Call afterwards to ensure I was happy with the product. Would use them again!!

They were great. I was worried about the plants around the deck and they did a good job not damaging them. They were really careful around them. I really appreciated that.

I contacted them to paint the trim and external doors of my house as well as re-seal my deck. Jerry Stauffer was able to promptly provide me a quote for all services I needed done. I chose them over several other companies I had received quotes from. They were able to fit me in their schedule sooner than I expected. Bob did a great job prepping all surfaces and informing me of any issues he ran into. He also gave me some great suggestions to improve other areas of my house. They used quality paints by Sherwin-Williams and made suggestions on other quality products I could use for other projects around my house. Bob did a great job at removing the loose paint on my back door trim and repainting it. Very happy with the new paint on my garage door, front door, and complete trim of the house. The back deck also looks good. Overall, a great service and would use them again for any painting project.

Jerry, the owner, was timely and extremely professional when I first met him when he came out for the estimate. I quickly knew that I felt comfortable with him and the quote he gave me and agreed to proceed with the work. They are all very flexible with my schedule as they had to work around the construction of the woodwork. Originally, Bob came to start the painting and I was really unhappy with his professionalism and work. Due to scheduling and time, Jerry was quick to bring in the Penrod family, which is a father and 2 son team, that was able to quickly continue the work and finish the work on a timely manner and the work was well done. They made it a point to make sure I was happy with the work. There were some areas that needed retouching, but overall, the work and the job was well done. I would definitely rehire Jerry and the Penrods to do future paint work in my home.

This is the third time we have used Stauffer to paint exterior portions of our home. The first time was the deck and Jerry painted that himself, the second time it was the deck and all exterior wood including my mailbox and repair work for rotten places and we had sub-contrators and this third time just with the deck again and sub-contrators. I contacted Jerry via email on a Saturday and they were out on Tuesday to powerwash the deck. The gentleman even helped me move the gas grill inside and off the deck. Sub-contrator and wife came at predetermined time and finished the work in one day. Everything went smoothly, they were polite and cleaned up any mess even taking the old paint from last time with them for disposal.

I was disappointed. The job and pricing was not good. He did come back and fix the things I was disappointed in, but I would not use him again in the future.

They did a great job. We were having trouble picking out a color, the person who did the work recommended a color, and it worked out really well. It looks great on our house. It is very clean. They did a good job. The person who painted was really nice. The weather was kind of rough. It was raining a lot so it was hard for them to get in here. It seemed like we had to wait a while but there wasn’t anything they could have done. It was raining so obviously they couldn't paint outside. Everything went really well with them.

The painting work is beautiful. Jerry Stauffer got himself caught in a lie on the first day of the job making us question his integrity but the work his men did was really well done. They had miles of trim work to do on a circa 1835 house and it is just beautiful. The professionalism of the individual painter was good. We probably would not use or recomend Stauffers in the future due to the issue with honesty.

Jerry and his crew scraped the old paint and repainted the exterior and trim on my duplex. Some siding was replaced due to rot. I live out of the area and Jerry worked well with that situation and kept me up to date on progress and his crews needs. Jerry and his crew were very accommodating of my tenants and working with me and my local coordinator. The house looks great now!

Our overall experience was positive. Bob did an excellent job with the shutters and was professional. Even though it was a small job, we were not put on their back burner. Thanks Jerry and Bob!

Once again Jerry and his crew did a great job. This is the second time they've done painting for me. They painted most of the inside of the house and the shingles, trim and front door. When they started painting the storm door, they discovered a layer of plastic had been left on the door when it was installed and had baked onto the surface of the door. I told Jerry I really wanted the storm door to match the rest of the front door so they figured out what needed to be done to clean the door and were able to paint it. They finished everything within a few days & it looks great!

Start to finish was about two weeks as we were in no hurry, and Doug likes to do things right (which we appreciated). Doug and an assistant arrived on the first day and proceeded to thoroughly power wash the entire house, not just what was to be painted. The house is stucco and stone. The second day they started painting the soffits. Once the soffits were done (two coats) they sprayed the garage doors (two or three coats). After that they moved on to the EFIS moldings that didn't require surface repair and applied two coats. The second week had Doug repairing the EFIS surfaces and rotted soffit and applying two coats to the repairs. Doug and his assistant cleaned up each day and stored their ladders in the side yard until the job was done. The owner, Jerry Stauffer, kept us informed as to any delays (took some time to get the products needed to repair the EFIS surfaces) and came out to check progress several times.

Their work was just okay. The attitude of the worker was not very good. When I brought this up to the owner his response was not one of concern.
