It was the day before Thanksgiving and I had taken the day off to paint those two areas before my guests arrived the next day. I quickly discovered that I could not do the work myself and still make the necessary preparations for Thanksgiving. I checked Angie's list and began calling painting companies. Stouffers was the first company I called and much to my surprise they were able to send someone over to do the work the same day. It was already 10 AM when I called and they had someone in here by 11. The work was done quickly and efficiently. He was out of here by 4 and the results look very good, much better than I could have done myself. I would definitely use them again.

Estimate was fine, very similar, we chose not to go with this company because the warranty was longer with another company.

I made an appointment with Jerry. The day of the appointment, he called and asked to reschedule due to a personal conflict. We rescheduled for the next day at the same time. Jerry didn't show up at the appointed time but called 20 minutes later saying he was on his way and got caught up in traffic. He finally did arrive 50 minutes after the original appointment time. We talked about the job, and he said he'd email an estimate to me. 2 days later, I received the email with the estimate. By this time, I had already written him off. His estimate was a bit higher than the next lower.

Jerry was very prompt in providing us with a bid. Once we decided to go with him, the work started within a week. The crew was very friendly and reviewed everything they did with us. Excellent work; we will use them again!!

They gave us a really good price. They've been really good so far. They are having problem doing work because of the weather.

Jerry's crew performed the subject tasks well. It took a little bit longer than we hoped, but overall we are happy with the final product. Jerry honored his $100 coupon in the Angie's List magazine that saved us $100.

Jerry Stauffer was extremely responsive and conscientious, from the time I called for an estimate, to quickly scheduling the painting, to finishing the job. He was competitively priced, the quality of their work was very good, and the painters were very nice. While I would use them again, I did find that they did take a little longer than they had anticipated (by a few days), and the painters did not always arrive on time. But, they definitely did not rush to get the job done -- they were more concerned with quality.

Excellent! I have recommended Stauffer's Painting to several of my friends and will use them again for any future painting needs I have.

Jerry, the owner, was prompt and made several trips out to the house to inspect the work to be performed and while in process. His workers were polite, but a little messy and not very detail oriented. The contract provided for 2 coats of primer and 2 coats of paint in the garage. We had to tell them to do the second coat in the garage. If we hadn't, they would not have finished the job. We had to have them come back numerous times to fix areas, that we thought they would have caught, where they missed spots and/or they didn't clean up where paint had splattered onto cabinets, walls or fixtures.

They charged us nothing. I was amazingly impressed. They were very responsive to return calls. They took full responsibility.

THE OWNER, JERRY STAUFFER IS VERY PERSONABLE AND FRIENDLY, BUT BUSINESS LIKE. HE CHECKED ON THE JOB, THE MAIN PAINTER WAS FRIENDLY, ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS I HAD. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

The overall experience was great. Stauffers crew was very professional and did an outstanding job. They obviously take pride in their work. I would recommend Stauffers to anyone.

Help didn't have transportation, used my house like it was their own. Left the door wide open while they were in the basement while the A/C on. Didn't have supplies and ask me to take them everywhere. The owner didn't communicate with them as to what to do and they stripped the wallpaper off a bathroom that was not even to be painted. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I cannot say enough good things about this company. When I contacted Jerry Stauffer I was in a mess. My wife and I had a baby on the way, and the contractor we had hired to work in our home while we were on vacation swindled us. We arrived home to a disaster, with no idea who could help us. Jerry Stauffer immediately returned my email, and got us on his schedule within a week or so. He provided a team of two men who did excellent work, and they came in on budget and made sure that I was satisfied. Jerry himself came to do a final walk through with me when the team was done, and pointed out spots to touch up that I had missed, and had his guys do it on the spot. He didn't ask for a dime up front, invoiced me after the job was complete, and was courteous and helpful through the whole process. I also had a misunderstanding about how some of the drywall work was to be paid for, and Jerry was fair with me about it at his expense. In my opinion this is the company to hire.

Jerry was very responsive when I first inquired and promptly gave us a bid that was right the range of the others we received. He was very professional, assigned a double crew to do the work since it was a big job, and made good on his promise to continue the work every day, weather permitting. He kept in good touch with me by email as the job progressed, which I really appreciated. I would definitely recommend his company and would use him again.

The sub contractors used swear words while working. They weren't real careful and had paint on their hands which they got on our banister and on a sweatshirt that was on the banister. In the room they were very careful, but once they left that particular room they were not real careful. I caught them rinsing their brushes in my bathroom sink, and requested that they use the utility sink in the basement. They let their brushes drip all over the floor on their way up and I had cloudy water splotches on my pergot floors. Which I was able to wipe up, but I didn't feel that they respected my home.

They did the trim and one door was in bad shape so they did a good job making it look better.

Jerry was professional and prompt. There was some confusion about whether the footers were included in the estimate and whether the paint was included. We worked out a compromise on the footers and he deducted the full cost of the paint I bought. We used our Angie's list coupon which made this very affordable, for a final price of $400

Fairly good experience. They were close to on time, did a good job; but a few problems that they fixed when pointed out.

Dan was professional and courteous. Stauffer's was competitive, midrange prices, we just decided to go with a less expensive company.

Jerry was a personable fellow, but it seemed as though he was a little overwhelmed with his current jobs. I spoke with him early last week and scheduled an appointment for last Friday morning for an estimate on exterior and interior painting. I had to cancel due to a sudden change of schedule with my son, but I notified Jerry of this and rescheduled for the following Monday. I received a call late that evening from Jerry apologizing for not calling or coming over, and we set a time for Tuesday at 2PM. I waited for his arrival and around 4:30PM Jerry called and wanted to know if he could come over in little while to give an estimate because he believed that the 2PM appointment was tentative. It was an appointment, not just show up whenever. I'm happy for Jerry if business is so good that he can get to you whenever he feels like it but if his excuses and inability to give an estimate in a timely manner are issues before I write the check then what will happen after he has my money.

It was excellent. They had a group of men that knew what they were doing. They worked together in unison.

Met with Jerry and he was very polite. He took measurements and said they were booking two weeks out. I receive the bid quickly. I waited one week to contact him, based on other bids not received as fast. I contacted Jerry to schedule the work. He said he would contact me when the smoke cleared to schedule. That was two full weeks ago. I have moved forward to find an alternate painter. He should have called back to schedule, even if the job couldn't be done right away.

His people broke light switches and were careless with my belongings. Set off house alarm because they didn't cover the smoke detector before sanding in the area. Nice people but careless with your belongings. Unexpected when you're paying top price.

They have excellent Angie's List ratings, and I concur. They were punctual, very accommodating to my schedule, pleasant, and professional. I plan to hire them again.
