Fantastic! The estimate was not the lowest, but it was close and was definitely the most comprehensive. The work was done start to finish within three weeks of the estimate and would have been finished sooner but for my delay. The crew was friendly, courteous, and never left a mess; they even removed an old fiberglass awning for me. I love the results, and I strongly recommend them to anyone looking for exterior work.

Jerry talked about the house w/ us in detail. Some areas needed more work than others, and he broke down the estimate and let us choose what we wanted done. We had all the work done that we discussed and was listed on the estimate. The crew he sent out worked very hard and were pleasant. They cleaned up all their trash. If there are any problems, Jerry is very easy to talk to and he will send his workers back to fix up any areas, if you are not completely satisfied.

Mr. Stauffer was prompt in responding to my call. He came out in 2-3 days to give me an estimate. We needed to make 2 adjustments to the original estimate and he was very nice about doing that for us. Mr. Stauffer promoted his company well however I did not appreciate his comment about one of his competitors. Stauffer Painting came in 2nd out of 3 companies from whom we received estimates.

They are great. It's all I could want and they didn't leave any problems behind.

We were more than pleased with the work this company did. They were very quick to respond with an estimate and were able to start work in less than a week. Bob, the painter, did a fantastic job! He was very detailed and thorough, taking great care not to make a mess or harm any of our plants. He moved all of our outdoor furniture and grill by himself. He was very respectful of our property and polite on all occasions. He was even friendly to our dog. He did an exceptional job covering all of our wood. This was a difficult job considering it had been a long time since the trim had been painted, and it required more than the usual amount of stain to fully cover the wood. Bob was also a very hard worker, starting in the morning and not stopping until sundown (around 8 pm each night). We did not find any drips or problems with the painting job. Overall, we have no complaints could not be happier with their work. We will definitely remember this company for future projects.

They were very friendly when they were there working. They showed up on time everyday to work. They were very professional about the job when they were there.

I was very happy with their work. Other then painting on the switch plates, which they did not prime before painting, I was very satisfied with their work. They were very responsive to any problems that we had. I liked that they painted over the caulking around the woodwork.

Excellent. The estimate was accurate and they were able to start quickly. Jerry called to keep me informed about the schedule when the weather did not allow them to work. The workers were courteous and did a thorough job. Some of the wood around 2 doors was rotted and they were able to replace it. I added a few other items to the job including painting the inside screen porch. The area was cleaned up each day when they left. I am very pleased with the end result.

Estimate by Jerry Stauffer was very competitive. Stauffers was able to start the project sooner than any other Angie's List painter I contacted. The three man crew was punctual and worked long hours to complete the job within the time period promised. A few trim items that needed painting and were overlooked during the contracting process were completed at no extra charge. As Jerry put it, he didn't like nickel and diming his customers. He requested no deposit and accept no payment until we were satisfied. I would recommend his services and plan on using him for an interior painting project next.

The crew was very attentive to my questions and concerns. They went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied with the colors and the quality of the work. They made some suggestions for additional repairs to damaged wood work and then carried the work out beautifully.

It was great. Jerry Stauffer did the estimating. I've known him for many years. His company also did a commercial job for me at my office a few years ago. The estimating was fair and precise. Jerry offers good counsel on what types of paint to use. He's a nice fellow -- and that makes a big difference, too. He sent a two-person crew over for the week. They said, "We are going to paint and finish rooms before moving on, so you can live in the rooms sooner." We thought that was great. Their work was expert, clean, fast. After a first coat of a questionable color choice, they called us to ask if we wanted to change our minds. That was nice. One of the painters actually gave us a box of Girl Scout cookies -- for no reason at all, except to be nice. (Thin Mints, no less.) After the job, they came back for a run through to make sure we were happy with everything. We couldn't be happier. They were great.

They were the lowest bidders and did such a great job. I am thinking about having them back out for some exterior painting.

I have not received the estimate, it was overall a great experience. I will get the estimate emailed to me today.

Jerry was able to start the same week that I signed the contract, due to another project being delayed. We were actually out of town when they did most of the work. When we got back, we were impressed with quality of the work. Originally the garage door was not to be painted, but once the trim around the door was painted we realized the door required painting too. I was able to come to quickly come to terms over the phone to paint the garage door. After they had completed the project, I looked over the house and found a few spots that needed additional caulk and paint, and also a couple areas on the deck where they had missed applying stain. They came out the next day and fixed the problems. There were also several areas of over-spray and drips on the siding that had to be cleaned up.

Walls and ceiling in a rental were damaged by a botched roofing job by another contractor. Stauffer's Painting was the low estimate to seal stains and repaint rooms. Job went extremely well. The owner, Jerry Stauffer stopped by at least once a day to check on progress and quality of the work. We were so pleased that when another tenant moved out of a rental, and the rental needed repainting, we hired Stauffer's again, and they did the same excellent work. Workers arrived on time, were well supervised and courteous, and quality was excellent.

It went very well. I was impressed that they waited to do one area b/c a bird was nesting in the soffit. I was very pleased with the work. They sent someone out to follow-up and make sure everything was cleaned up and they swept up some paint scrapings.

They did the job in a timely manner and it looks great.

The project went extremely well. Stauffers was extremely easy to work with, did the work quickly, with high quality results, and on budget. If working with all contractors was as easy as working with Stauffers life would be much easier!

On the first day they showed up with a 3 man crew. They removed hanging items from the walls and moved 2 large cabinets that I could not move. On the last day, when they were done, they returned the cabinets and installed new hangers I had purchased. They agreed to send a crew of 3 men. Other estimates I had were all just one man outfits estimated four or five days to complete work.

Jerry and his crew did a great job from beginning to end. Jerry took the time to come out several times to discuss the scope of the work to be done. As this was a very costly job we wanted to make sure it was done right. His price was very good for the amount of work to be performed. We added cedar shake replacement after the job started and they took it all in stride spending time to find shake that matched as close as they could. I know it took more time than estimated but they stuck with their price and only charged me for extra material. The crew was very nice and took care of anything I asked them to do. Jerry came out and checked on the progress several times through the process and was always very honest and up front with what was going on. Thanks for making our house the most beautiful house on the street!
