 + -1 moreI called Brad Spees. It took a day or so for him to get back to me, but it's understandable, because I think the company is just him. He said he'd look at the door. I didn't have to meet him there, because it is on the outside of the house. He called and said he could fix the jamb, and that only the "closers" on the door needed replaced. I told him I wanted to do that. I thought we were going to make a time to meet. I came home a couple of days later. I was unobservant and went in and out of the house a couple of times before I realized the door was fixed! I actually didn't even meet him, but even on the phone I could tell he was nice person to work with. He sent me a bill and, needless to say it cost a lot less than buying a door and having it delivered. I was very pleased with the overall experience. I've already recommended to a couple of my friends.
Description of Work: My storm door blew open and broke during a recent storm, Also, the wood jamb where the hinges go was damaged. I thought I would have to get a new door. I talked to a home improvement company who said they would deliver the door and also repair the jamb. When the guy came out to look at my door, he said the jamb was too badly damaged to install the door. So apparently they DON'T do repair work. Fortunately I had not bought the door yet.

 + -1 moreI sent him an e-mail via his website and received a prompt response. He was out the next day to take a look at the job and had everything completed the following day. I also asked for an estimate on installing crown molding and he had that to me within a day or two. I was very impressed with his responsiveness - I've worked with other contractors and it can sometimes take awhile for them to take a look at your problem and/or get on the schedule to get the work done. I also appreciated that he was honest about what jobs needed to be taken care of and which ones didn't. (We asked him about replacing some caulk in our shower and he said he thought things looked good and didn't think it was necessary.)
Description of Work: Brad fixed several items for us including re-attaching a 2nd story downspout that had come apart. (put up a blind, fixed sliding glass door screens and got them working again, etc.)

Description of Work: Lots of help prepping my house for sale. Installed faucet, fixed toilet, patched large drywall holes, pressure washed house and decking, installed exterior door knob, etc. Went very well. I felt very comfortable with Brad in my home. I would recommend them and use again.

 + -1 moreBrad was so kind to respond quickly. We called on Thursday evening and he was there first thing friday morning. He was extremely courteous and professional. It was obvious he knew what he was doing. He went to get parts himself and fixed the problem right away
