SHARPENING ON SITE

This provider was great. She was very responsive by telephone to my questions; always called me back promptly and was friendly and helpful over the telephone. She arrived exactly on time for our appointment. She obviously knew what she was talking about regarding my reel lawn mower, which several other lawn mower companies had refused to deal with because it has no motor and the blades need to be sharpened with different equipment, which this provider has.. It was obvious to me by talking to her that she had a lot of experience with lawn mowers. She was very honest in telling me what service my mower needed to cut the grass better, and just as importantly, what service was not needed. I appreciate her integrity. I will be using this provider again for maintenance on my mower. She came highly recommended by both Angie's List and word-of-mouth and, having used her services now, I can see why.

I contacted Rebecca via email and inquired about on site service ($40 min.). I inquired about available times. She responded quickly and offered to come by the house to perform the knife sharpening service while I was not at home. Worked out great. Reasonably priced. Only issue is that several of the pocket knives were not a sharp as I would have liked.

This is the second time I used their service. They do a fantasitic job in sharpening all my materials. They even clean my lawn mower.

Rebecca was awesome. I am so grateful that she came to my home as I had just gotten out of the hospital and was still recovering. She is so friendly and personable and you can tell she enjoys her job. She did an excellent job of sharpening my knives and I still can't get over how reasonably priced she is. I asked her for several business cards so that I can recommend her to my friends. Thank you so much Rebecca!

I sent email, service date was established. Left blades and knives outside of garage and invoice was inside of box contents. Great work.

I would highly recommend Becky. She gets right to work on the items you have selected. They are in excellent shape when she finishes. She even cleaned and sharpened a pair of clippers that were old and had not been usable for several years. Now they work great. She is careful not to remove metal on items that do not need sharpened. We had several knives that we seldom use and she let us know that these were fine having been sharpened when she was here last year.

I have been using a lawn mowing service for the last three years. Prior to that, I was mowing the lawn myself with 16-inch reel mower, which "Sharpening OnSite" had sharpened some time ago when Louise was the primary person. I got a postcard this spring for sharpening and held onto it. I found out that my lawn service had sold their business. Even though I found some alternate mowing services, I decided to go back to mowing with the reel mower, but it was dull and rusty. I called and left a message and after a couple of days I e-mailed, since I had not had a call back. Rebecca replied by e-mail that they had been swamped in April, but she could schedule me soon, which she did by e-mail. Two days before the scheduled date, I e-mailed her and asked if she could also do my neighbor's 20-inch reel mower at the same time, and she said yes. I left both mowers out and when I got home from work, both were sharpened - very sharp. Now I don't just wound the grass, I actually cut it.

Rebecca was professional, very friendly and fit us into her busy schedule with 2 days of our phone call. Would her return in a heartbeat.

Rebecca did a great job and was a pleasure to deal with. Catching her on the phone is a bit tricky, I would recommend contacting her via email that seems to work a bit faster. She fit me into her schedule, sharpened blades at my house, and left things looking brand new. I plan to use Sharpening on Site again in the future.

I love the girl that sharpens my knife and her name is Rebecca. She did a great job. She's awesome. The price was inexpensive.

What a great service! I just waited until they were going to be at the Clintonville Farmer's market, hoofed it over there with my knives, and got them back in about an hour. Excellent service, friendliness and quality.

It was easy to make the appointment, she arrived on time and did a GREAT job sharpening our knives and scissors. The $35 minimum to have the service some to our home was reasonable, though I was a little surprise by the total bill. Regardless, our knives & scissors have a new life at a fraction of the price it would have been to replace them. I will certainly call them again!

She was prompt and professional. Our tools and knives had not been sharpened for years. Getting the blade off of the one lawnmower was more than we could manage, but she had the equipment to do so. Mowing the yard is so much better now and I use the knives carefully since they are like new. Due to street paving she rearranged her schedule for us twice. She did so agreeably. We plan to call Sharpening on Site for any future needs - especially a yearly sharpening for the mowers!

She was on time, I had forgotten to leave the items out so she called me at work and waited while my son located the items. She was terrific

Arrived on time and gave a clear assessment of the condition of knives and the cost for sharpening, then sharpened the knives. Rebecca was nice enough to show me some of her mobile shop and explain the basics of the equipment. Knives were sharp and handled well (e.g. without excessive scratches or damage).

Came out to my house on time 45 minutes later ob was done out standing service !

I've used Sharpening on Site for years. They're great! I call or email to schedule them once a year. They park their van in front of the house and... as their name says.... sharpen on site. This year we had two full butcher blocks of knives (over 20). The knives are always expertly sharpened. The service is always great. And the price is super.....

Rebecca always does a fabulous job. I am an enthusiastic cook and gardner, and I am very grateful to her for keeping my knives and garden equipment in like-new condition.

Each peice was lik new after the service. After having the set for over 6 years without ever gttting them sharpened, we forgot what they should cut like. In fact, my wife was a little nervous afterwards because the blades were so sharp again!Will def use this service again and not wait another 6 years!
