He completed the regular service and identified one preventative problem and one that needed immediate repair. We've been using Sears for our Heating and AC MaintenenceWeve for 2 years now. They are always prompt, knowledgeable, courteous, and affordable. We signed up for their package plan for annual maintenence. We never felt pressured to sign any contracts. We used a different company in past, and we have had a much better experience with Sears!

I love This company. I have used them for years now. They have replaced a furnace and ac unit. This past week they servied our upstairs ac unit. It may need replaced but Sears always gives you all options and price ranges.

They initially came out at the end of the previous year and were able to keep our AC running through fall. Even though it was a hot day, they were able to send somebody out next day. When spring came (and it was a hot, early spring last year), the AC quickly failed and it was clear it was time to replace it. The technician gave us some useful advice and then the salespeople came out the next day. They were well-informed and had multiple options for us. They got everything installed the next week. We love our new system. It was even better the next winter than the summer. Definitely more cost efficient, but also more effective. Installation went smoothly and they cleaned up well. I appreciate how quickly they were able to serve us.

We use Sears Heating and Cooling for our semi-annual checkup on the heating and cooling system in our home. The service is excellent, and they are very courtious and professional. The yearly cost is very reasonable. When the appointment is scheduled for them to be here, they are here at that time. I would highly recommend them. e unit, along with the electricther home that needed a complete furnace and air replacement

My furnace was making a thud after shutting off so I purchased Sears Angie's List Deal for $49.00 for the heating trip and check. Jamie called me first thing the following morning and set up an appointment for the same day. Ramon showed up on time and was very professional and polite. He checked my furnace and explained the situation and what needed done. I ended up buying their Fall/Spring service deal and Ramon fixed and tuned up my furnace. I'm very satisfied with Sears and will be using them again soon for the AC spring tune up. I will request Ramon since he did a wonderful job.

I had a bad thermostat and they wanted ti install a Homeywell thermostat for almost $300.00. This was way to much. I went to Home Depot and purchased a Honeywell thermostat temp controlled for 70.00 with 10% discount.

It went well, and they were not put off by my large dogs.

We have used Sears Heating & Cooling over the years and they have never disappointed us. The product they offered to us was very flexible and allowed us to obtain the features that we wanted. We did obtain other quotes, but the features we wanted were in the higher end models only. I believe we received a good product for the price and the salesmen Dan Fisher was very good in explaining our options to us. The only problem we had during the installation was the thermostat. It is an internet enabled thermostat that had the features we wanted so that we could change the temperature setup etc. from anywhere. They called other technicians to the site to solve the problem the same day of the installation and did not say we will be back tomorrow. I would use them again.

We were having problems with our furnace one day--squeaking, burning smell through the vents. Another company told us that the blower in our furnace needed replaced. The cost would be $700. We did some price comparing over the phone and decided that Sears Heating & Cooling offered us the best deal. Jay was the repairman who came to our home. He did a complete inspection and couldn't find anything wrong with the furnace (other than a loose switch, which he took care of). The blower and all other parts were functioning properly! The heat has been on and working normally since. Jay was prompt, informative, thorough, and honest with us. He saved us money! We are so thankful! Also, we initially paid regular price for the service call (which is good for 90 days) before noticing a special deal on this site later in the day. We called the company, and they are gladly refunding the difference. Thank you, Sears Heating & Cooling!

I had a annual "check-up" agreement with a different company. When the other co. checked my furnace, the worker told me it needed a new inducer motor. The estimate for the work was over $800.00. I called Sears Heating & Cooling at 3981 Cleveland Ave. Columbus, OH 43224 which was recommended to me by a parts supplier. They quoted me a price that was about half the cost. I scheduled Sears to do the work. The co. rep. arrived on time, did the work, and was gone in a little less than an hour. Very satisfied with the work and the price!

The sales process was quick to setup. I think they came out the next day. They gave me a range of options to choose from and discussed the pros and cons of each. Installation was scheduled within about a week and was performed timely. The only small complaint I had was that they routed the line to the outside under my floor trusses instead of through them. If I ever finish that part of my basement, I'll have to have it moved. All in all, I was satisfied and I'd use them again.

I was impressed with their willingness to help me even though there wasn't a lot of money to be made. They were honest and professional. The repairman crafted a piece of metal to fit into the ceiling vent and ran the required tests.

Sears Heating had installed a new furnace and air conditioner for us several years ago and we have been using them for service ever since. This year at the annual furnace check, they discovered a small problem. They had to make a return trip because he did not have the part. I requested to be the first one on the schedule when coming back and they accomodated me with no problem. I always feel like they are being honest with me. Great job!!!

My furnace was only 80% efficient so I deciided to get a new furnace installed. I had used this company before so called for an estimate. Jamie (their salesman) met with me to go over the details. Once I decided what type of furnace I wanted installed, he contacted the office and I was able to have it installed the next day! The installer (Jason) did a great job, showed me what he did and why, cleaned up after himself and was gone in 5 hours. It would have been quicker, but he had to wait for another employee to deliver the new furnace and help Jason set it in place. To top it all off, Cindy in the office called me to set a convenient time for a city inspector to come and check their work which of course passed with flying colors. I highly recommend Sears to anyone needing HVAC. Jamie and Cindy also helped with application info for rebates from AEP and Columbia Gas. WOO HOO! ;-)

The morning of Sunday, 7/8/12, our home air conditioner stopped working. After calling several companies, Sears told us they could likely make it out that afternoon. The service technician called around noon and said there had been some cancellations and was on the way. He found our compressor run capacitor had failed and replaced the part. He also checked the system pressure. The system was fixed in about half an hour.

During this recent heatwave and after restoration of power, AC unit was not working. Sears Heating and Cooling was at my house quickly to check out my AC. They provided a repair estimate within an hour and offered to provide an estimate for a new system. My AC system was 30 years old, so the new system was needed and ordered. Installation was scheduled in a timely manner. Installers were on site when promised and had the system installed quicker than estimated. Everyone was pleasant, fast and efficient. They have totally won my business, I will never call another company to handle my HVAC problems.

Furnace blower would not come on. I called Sears. They came out very promptly, and diagnosed the needed repair. They did not carry the replacement part on their truck due to the cost of it - they gave me time to consider whether I wanted to purchase the part from them or not. I elected to just let them do the repair since the furnace is about 13 yr old but otherwise in good working condition. The "board" was pricey - about $600 - but the problem was fixed. Sears tells me that the circuit board should last the remaining life of the furnace and many times never goes out over the life of the furnace. So I will wait the next couple of years to be sure it isn't the same problem as has occurred in the past and that the board replacement was the true fix. Sears was prompt, respectful, and up front about the high cost of the part.

I bid and won a 95% efficient gas furnace offered through Sears Heating and Cooling, including installation and removal of my old furnace. This was a $3500+ package and I won it for about $1100. I got top-notch customer service from Sears Heating and Cooling, as if I had paid top dollar; they were very efficient in processing my order, never once tried to upsell me or nickel and dime me into more products, and the owner handled my pre-installation inspection personally and we scheduled installation within that next week. They were completely above the board about what product I was getting, even giving me a brochure for the product and offering to let me inspect it before they installed it (I gave it a very quick once-over but it was obviously exactly what they promised, so I let them proceed). It was a quality furnace, not top of the line but from a reputable mainstream brand and exactly as promised in the radio ad. They showed up with a HUGE fleet of guys and installed my furnace in a matter of hours. They seemed to have divided the team into specialists: one guy was the "drill a new chimney" guy since I was converting from a much less efficient 80% furnace and the new furnace called for a better vent, there was a whole team of guys who specialized in removing the old furnace, another team that specialized in running the ductwork, etc. It was like an army, and they were all very courteous and efficient and respectful of my home. The company owner personally did the final inspection to ensure that there were no leaks, and his administrative assistant promptly mailed paperwork (including receipts) so that I could claim the furnace on my federal taxes. We've now had the furnace for about 1.5 years and it's performed beautifully. I will definitely use this company again for tune-ups, air conditioning work, etc. They are worth it at any price, very professional and efficient.
