Scotty gave an estimate over text chat $500 upfront without looking or analysing the issue. when the guy came, he did nothing but putting some glue at bathtub opening and putty spray in ceiling, he did not find the root cause of the leak, it still leaks and plumbing issue is still there. ceiling is still wet. can't RELY on this guy anymore, have bad reviews as well from others. I want my money back and no response from him

The service was fine. They did an excellent job, and they were able to do the job in a holiday evening.

He was very professional, quick at what he does, he comes any time of the hour. He does plumbing work as well.

They were a no show at the first scheduled visit. When we rescheduled, they did poor quality work. Have a look at the photos I've attached. They installed the storm door handle upside down, crooked screws, nails sticking out of board, a weather strip that was installed poorly and broke days later, another plumber found plastic parts in our master toilet after Ken had tried to rebuild it for us but it kept leaking, etc. I then tried 3 different times to get them to come fix everything, they scheduled but then stood me up THREE times. I just sat around waiting wasting my time. We eventually had to hire professionals to come fix the issues. Look out for Kenneth Rothgeb (aka Scott) he'll take your money and run.

We hired these men to install a chandelier, replace another one, and install an electric heater in our sun room. They installed the new chandelier fine, but made huge holes in the ceiling. The problem though, was the electric heater. They did not know how to install it. I respectfully asked the father how could that be, since electrical work is his business. He just didn't know how to get it to work. They took many hours trying to figure it out. My husband had to find a Youtube video to show them (!!) and they still couldn't figure it out. Finally, we told them to leave. This is the third time we've had bad service on Angie's list and will not return. But this was the absolute worst experience we've ever had hiring someone to do a job. We will be hiring someone else to finish the work. We feel we paid them more than they earned. That's putting it mildly.

We had a wonderful experience with Scott and sons. Their operation is obviously and old fashioned family business. We needed some minor electrical work and a new wash basin and drain one bathroom. We had gotten a run-around by a big name plumber (with no electrical work involved). So we called Scott and Sons. The same day, one of the sons (Chris) came out, fixed the electrical problems and started the wash basin replacement but ran into serious deterioration of the pipes and the basin itself. At our request he left at about 6:30 (he said he would be glad to finish but we asked him to do it in the morning) and returned the next morning to finished the job. Simply,The work was a well done as imaginable. For the past 47 years I have done all such work myself and know exactly what to do and how to do it, but recent illness has sidelined me. Simply, I plan to use them for every "handyman" task we have. John

We spoke on the phone and talked about the project. We set a date and it was between 4-6 pm last Friday 9/14, and I basically sat around waiting for nothing. He never once called me to let me know he wasn't showing up or anything.That was last week and I still haven't heard anything back from him. I am unsatisfied with his unresponsiveness.

Scott set an appointment for Saturday 6/23 from 1 to 2 pm. He did not show up and did not call with an explanation.

Very well. They came when promised, matched the siding and did not leave any mess.

They charged us labor only, They went to the store with us. They helped us and showed us up to date stuff. They told us it would take 6 weeks to do it. they completed it in 6 weeks. Other companies told us it would take a couple months. They were there on time everyday. They were professional. We have had bad experiences in the past with contractors. The hardest part is finding a good contractor that"s trustworthy and reliable. I had a positive experience. They were professional, on time, and reliable. I am very Happy with how it turned out. they did an amazing job.
