ROSE PEST SOLUTIONS

Absolute scam of a company. Charged us before doing the job, then came out and did the bare minimum and failed to do anything they said they would do. After months of discussion with the company, they refused to finish the job or offer us even a partial refund. Would stay away from this company if possible.

Very smoothly. Technician worked quickly, explained the steps he was taking/what he believed the problem to be, and solved the issue.

They were great to work with, accommodating, affordable, and educational.

Went well. Came and picked up the varmint and took away.

In the beginning, I was pleasantly surprised by the immediate response from this company. The operator was friendly and thorough; she took my information, told me about the company's usual procedures, quoted me a price, informed me about other services, and we set up a time for a technician to visit the following week. The day arrived. The technician was due any time between 8 and 11. I hurried through my work-out and carried my phone with me in case of a call. A little bit after 11, when I still hadn't heard anything, I called Rose to see if there was a delay and if I needed to re-schedule. The friendly operator apologized for the no-show, took my information and promised to pass it on to the scheduler, who wasn't available. And this is how it went the following day (a Friday) when I called again just in case they were trying to get in touch with me. The friendly operator promised to pass on my info once again. The following Monday I called again in order to set up another visit. I was apologized to again--again my info was taken and the operator told me he'd write "urgent" on the message. I got a call back on Tuesday. The scheduler told me he was going to call a technician to see if he had time to visit either Friday or the following week. He said I'd hear from him by 5 that evening. I heard nothing. An entire week went by without any contact from Rose. I feel I gave them plenty of chances to contact us so I've contacted another company. Everyone I spoke to at Rose was polite, friendly and concerned, but clearly the ball was dropped here.

The inspector did a horrible job. He looked at one exterior wall I had removed the siding on that had signs of water damage and ant infestation. He glanced at it, said yep I had ants and just remove the damage myself, and that was it. He never entered the house or walked the exterior for inspection for possible termites. He never poked at the damaged would or inspected the wall except visually at a distance of 10 ft, and it was on the ground floor. There were termites all over that wall once I poked around it a bit, and later when I called Orkin their inspector immediately called out the problem. This guy did a bozo job and did Rose wrong by wasting their resources and did me wrong by almost causing me to overlook a potentially catastrophic future loss, let alone the waste of my time.

This team (and in particular the technician who did the work) did a great job. I called the company because I found a small-ish, grapefruit-sized wasp nest in a tree near our house. I discovered it by being stung multiple times while walking past the tree. I called this company on a Saturday (one of the few pest-control companies available on a Saturday). We scheduled an appointment for Monday, and I received a quote by phone before the tech came out. The technician was great. I showed him the nest, he suited up, and got rid of it. A huge relief to us, and well worth the cost.

Scheduled an appointment with them last week to look at some carpenter bee, but never heard from them. Tried calling twice after that.. left my name, number, and address but still no response. Guess they don't want the business. The first call to just schedule the appointment took 20 minutes - they kept having computer problems or something.

We were worried that we had carpenter ants in our home that would eventually cause damage to our house, so I called Rose Pest Solutions to have them come out and evaluate the ant situation. The lady I spoke with over the phone who took down my information (and didn't request a CC#) was very polite and professional, and assured me that someone would be calling later in the day to set up a time to come to our house. Chris (I don't remember his last name, sorry!) called a few hours later and conveniently was able to come to our house that same afternoon, free of charge. Chris was very professional, punctual and honest, and was very knowledgeable about ants. We were relieved to find out that we have some black field ants and not carpenter ants that have been visiting our house on their quest for food. I am a nature/animal lover and would rather not use any pesticides on insects, spiders, etc., unless ABSOLUTEY necessary. Knowing this, Chris didn't try to push any contracts on us or scare us into spraying, but he did explain what services Rose Pest Solutions has to offer and gave us his honest opinion, which I really appreciate. I also like the fact that Rose Pest Solutions doesn't just randomly spray some broad-spectrum pesticide everywhere that will also kill beneficial insects and spiders, and they use a method for ant control inside house that is safe for our dogs (and us) to be around (cost would be $200 for two applications). Since the ant visitors are relatively few in number, not seen every day, and more of a nuisance than anything else (and we live in the country so there is bound to be some insect squatters in our home) we decided to hold off any treatments for the time being, but if we decide to proceed with some ant control, I will definitely give Chris at Rose Pest Solutions a call.

We have just had them forever. I do not remember how I chose them. I like their different systems that you can use to keep termites away and I like the type of system that they use. I think I would recommend other Angie’s List members to use them if they need any kind of pest control services. They are pretty good in terms of responsiveness. I would continue to use this company in the future if needed.

This is the first time that I have used them. The first impression of them was good. They had a really good person that came out. They were quick to respond and they’re very helpful at questions. I will use their services again in the future.

Panicked when I thought I had bed bugs. Lynn told me to bring in the bugs I had captured and they would look at them immediately. I did - turned out to be carpet beetles! Gave me great advice to get rid of them - easy, fast and inexpensive. I can not recommend them highly enough

It consists of general work that includes spiders, bugs and so forth as well as termite control. Their rates were very reasonable when we compared it with others. That is why we chose them. We have a service contract with them where they come out monthly. There is also a separate termite contract. We use them at work and not here in our house. It feels like a small company where we always deal with the same people. They are very easy to get in touch with. They return calls very promptly if we leave a message. We are really satisfied with their service.

On time, very effective, cared about the health of my dogs and the pesticide - discussed various issues - and worked like a DOG to get out the old wasp nest in my attic. Awesome experience!

They came out once to treat the nest with chemicals. They had to come back to treat the nest with different chemicals to remove the nest.

We had a terrible problem with spiders last year. We took estimates from several companies and chose Rose Pest Solutions because of the courtesy and advice the receptionist provided on the phone. As a new home owner, I didn't know what questions to ask and she was polite and guiding; other companies were not. They came as scheduled and one extra visit (at no charge) over the course of the year. Each time the technician introduced himself and was polite as he worked in and around our home. We have several small children and the technician proposed a treatment and prevention plan that limited the use of chemicals and sprays. The insect problem is greatly improved and we chose to re-sign with them for another year.

BOTH JENNIFER JOHNSON WHO CAME OUT TO MY HOUSE, AND THE MAN I SPOKE WITH AT THEIR OFFICE WERE VERY PLEASANT AND PROFESSIONAL TO TALK WITH. IN A FIELD WHERE THEY COULD PREY ON MY PARANOIA AND SIGN ME UP FOR EXPENSIVE TREATMENTS, I APPRECIATE THAT THEY WERE HONEST AND CAME UP WITH AN INEXPENSIVE DO-IT-YOURSELF SOLUTION.

FISHER REALLY HELPED US CONTROL OUR PROBLEM WITH CARPENTER ANTS WHICH REQUIRED FREQUENT SERVICE CALLS TO OUR HOME. FISHER NEVER CHARGED US FOR THE EXTRA SERVICE CALLS.
