Rosati Windows

This was our first experience with Rosati. We were EXTREMELY pleased with all aspects of our experience! From our initial meeting with a representative to the installers, it was clear that professionalism, quality, and customer satisfaction were top priorities. The representative who handled our order was very clear in his information and never pressured us in any way. It was also appreciated how he respected our time. Another service provider had also been contacted for comparison. Rosati definitely surpassed them in price and customer respect. Our installers were also very efficient as well as respectful of our home. It was a win-win experience!!!

It went poorly. I scheduled the service more than a week in advance, telling them that the lock was broken. Because they have such limited service hours - no later than 5pm, supposedly - I asked to be called in advance of the service technician arriving, so I could leave work early. The technician never called, just showed up at my door at 5:15pm. He had no spare parts with him or anything like that, he just checked the door lock, said "It's broken; we'll have to order a part", and left. I then had to call back the service coordinator, who promised that I would hear back from someone soon. Five days later, I called Rosati back and explained that no one had called me yet. Now I finally have an appointment - for three weeks from now because they shut down for the holidays, even though I can't get in my back door and have difficulty getting out the back door, too. Some service! Don't recommend them at all.

We used Rosati before at our previous house and LOVED the windows and the service so when we bought a new house that needed replacement windows we did not even hesitate or shop around. Why bother when we can just call Rosati again? The same salesman as before came out and I would put him on our Christmas card list if if I had his home address. Nice guy. Installation was delayed because of a surge in sales. I appreciated the letter from the president explaining the delay. John and Steve came out when it was VERY cold. Work went a little slow but it was well below freezing and there was some snow on the roof and ground. Tough working conditions but they got the job done with excellence. I kept them supplied with hot coffee. John even took a few minutes to sit down and enjoy some pizza with me. Now we are Facebook friends. He got right back to work. Rosati rocks! They arrived early in the morning and all the windows fit perfectly. Some of the upper windows, about 9, do not open per specification and therefore do not need screens. They installed 20 screens for the other 20 windows. Clean up was great and there were no issues. They also removed all the old windows. We had another company out and Rosati's estimate was a lot better on pricing. I would recommend them to others.

Excellent windows and great value. Product and installation were very good. Workers were very proficent and professional.

Awful. I've been told every time I called that they are getting the permits, that they will pay for the fine and remedy, but nothing has been done. I've been told that they applied for the permits and found they haven't. I'm getting nowhere with them and their reputation is worth nothing after a year of this. I need my windows replaced in my house built in 2000, but I will not use these jokers. Love their product, but they can't be trusted. UPDATE: Install Egress window (Followup to last review) Mike Rosati called to assure me they would cover the costs of getting the permit for the Egress window they installed October 2012, then didn't bother to respond about their failure to get the permits and inspections. I received the Hilliard Permit in the mail, along with drawings for the window. I scheduled the inspection and notified Rob Abner (Rosati's Permit guru) and he said he didn't need to be there and the inspector would just sign the permit and it would all be over. The inspector showed up, looked at the call and said he couldn't see what he needed to see since the window is in finished drywall (and has been for more than a year), and the inspector left. I called Rosati 11/20/13, the same day it failed and Rob told me he would find out what is needed. So 2 weeks after hearing nothing from Rosati, I called Rob to find out the scoop. Turns out he sent an email to the inspector (Mitch) on 11/21 and he hadn't heard back. I asked if a follow up had occurred, NOPE! So here I am with an open permit, Rosati being unresponsive, and I know they continue to fail to live up to their "Reputation" of being in business for 30 years. One day this will be resolved. It just might not be with Rosati. Stay away and don't listen to their assurances.

We order some windows from them last October. Right now, I have taken work with me, that I can say all hand but the price is reasonable. They put it in new windows, double spare, and all of this stuffs, I have frightened to do like that. What was indicated on Angie’s list was a major thing. I have an appointment, they were on time, very polite, explained everything to you. I went windows before and I thought their approach of doing and explaining things was very good.

very professional. We decided not to get windows at this time, but when the time comes it will be with Rosati. I spoke with Champion and Larmco and Rosati appeared to have a better product for a reasonable price.

I have health issues that require the door to be replaced as soon as possible. I can barely open the existing door now, depending on the weather. I need this issue taken care of now! I am not happy about the delay in service.

They gave us the needed paperwork to file the energy savings tax credit. We had two other companies out at the same time and the other companies held us up for about 4 hrs and it was a high pressure sales situation. Rosati was only here for about 20 minutes to measure and talk with us and it was not a high pressure sales situation and their prices were about half of the other two companies. The installation was seamless. They knew what they were doing and were very efficient, it was like an assembly line. They were on-time and and the cleanup was amazing; they vacuumed every room. I have recommended their service to others. We are thinking about replacing our back door and when we do that it will Rosati that we call.

I was personally contacted by the owner and all issues have been resolved satisfactorily. I feel comfortable knowing the owner is available in case of questions, etc.

We are so impressed with their service and what they said they would provide. I could not believe the company. Normally someone would complain about the work. We have lived in our house for 35 years. We are the original owners. The work they have done is just beautiful. Also, the people they sent were employees of Rosati. They were very respectful and not a bother to have in our home. We will also be looking in the future to hire them for doors. In fact the two gentleman, Shawn and Matt had a vaccum and everything was cleaned up.

The experience was great! From the time the estimator came until they finished the installation! No drawn out sales pitches or pressure whatsoever. The quote was a little more expensive than I had anticipated, but my windows are little larger than most . I also had special glass put in the bathroom window. I was very impressed about the good reviews I read before even deciding to call them for an estimate. The windows are very high quality and easy to clean. Satisfaction guaranteed! They have given my house a whole new look. Both men worked steady all morning, and were done before I had expected. They even did a few things that I hadn't expected. Very happy with them. I highly recommend Rosati Windows !

They are fantastic and I would hire them in a minute. They were very good and knew what they were talking about. They came when they said they would, and did exactly what I asked them to do. They were very friendly, polite, professional, and would answer all my questions. They also came in company attire so I could easily identify them. They also cleaned up after themselves and didn’t leave a mess.

Steve Carpenter arrived on time to give me an estimate. I was unsure if the front windows needed replaced. Steve said they did not need to be replaced and advised me of some maintenance I could easily perform. I found this to be very professional and ethical behavior. I got an estimate for other windows that do need replaced. I used the discount I received from Angie's list and overall I thought the price was very reasonable. I arranged for the windows to be installed and they will be calling me to make an appointment.

Worst buying experience ever! Ordered the window in February 2013 and it took about a month to make it. So when it came and was installed it was noticed that it was defective so another one was ordered. About a month later the new one was ready and the day of installation no one showed up.. The installer called and said he was sick and couldn't come ( is there only one installer). So we rescheduled again and the day of installation came and they called to say someone at the warehouse broke the window and another needs to be made again. Time goes by and another one is made and they come to the house and go out to the truck to unload the window when the guy comes back over to say that the window must have broken en route and they will have to make yet another one! So now it's August and still no window. No discount was ever offered. When I call they just talk in circles. Save yourself a big headache and buy from someone else. We wish we had.

Everything was excellent with Rosati Windows. Warranty is great, and they cleaned up very well after the job. The price was great also. They are a great company all the way around.

I also had an issue with the sliding glass door as well. He was able to resolve both of my problems. The door was still under warranty so there was no charge. They initially put all new windows and storm doors in for me. They are always very careful and know what they are doing.

We purchased new replacement windows from Rosati in 2010. While under warranty, one of those windows became foggy due to a broken seal. We contacted Rosati and they responded immediately. They had our full information on file, and scheduled a repair date to replace the entire window. They arrived promptly, replaced the damaged window, cleaned up thoroughly, and hauled away the damaged material. The work was done with no cost to us. We continue to be extremely pleased with the company and highly recommend them for replacement windows.

They were awesome and the windows have been incredible!!!! Great company!

They cost more but it's worth it. I've owned four homes over the years and have had various companies (including big box stores) install doors. I thought those other companies did okay but after my recent install with Rosati I can see the difference between a great job and an average job. Wow, what a difference! Quality product and superb install, they even took care of some dry rot (something the big box stores won't do). I won't be using anyone else from now on.

Rosati Home Improvement came to my house on 5/2. We discussed new windows/walls for my porch which only has storm windows. I discussed with the salesperson an option (option 1) about my idea for the porch. After the salesperson left I wrote a note that afternoon discussing a second option (option 2) that I would like to see designed/estimated. No email was returned. I did not hear anything back from my 5/2 email so I left a message mid-May to see when I might have an estimate. On 5/24 after never getting a phone call or email, I wrote an email asking about my estimates. This note was a forwarding of my note written on 5/2 with the conversation about the second option. Finally on 5/29 the salesperson wrote apologizing for the delay and told me the drawings would be sent by 6/1. I received the drawings on 5/31 from the architect. I traveled on vacation starting 6/1 for the next week and I was playing catch up with work when getting back. I finally had the opportunity to look at the drawings on 6/19. I noticed there was only one set of drawings for option 1 and no estimates were included. After telling the architect and the salesperson my correct name, I discussed wanting to see option 2. The salesperson apologized stating he missed my second option note from 5/2 (which he did get because he replied on 5/29 with my email attached about the second option). On 6/20 I got a single drawing (versus 6 drawings on option 1) on the second option. I emailed back stating I thought the door placement was wrong (needed to use an existing landing) and I wanted a better look on the accent wall. I also had a concern about the look below the header. On 6/21 I was informed by the architect to talk with the salesperson about option 2. Basically I felt Rosati was busy with other work and was just delaying me. On 6/19 I was promised a meeting and estimates by 6/28. I finally received an estimate on option 1 yesterday (7/3). No meeting was ever schedule by Rosati. In the note from the salesperson yesterday, he apologized once more for the delays and said we can discuss other options (probably referring to option 2) sometime. No mention of a meeting or a phone call. Summary: During this entire time I never received one phone call or request for a meeting from the salesperson to give me status or to review option 2. While no promises were made for a date of completion we did discuss my son's graduation party in July. I understand contractors and delays but we never got to first base with the designs and estimates. While I delayed the process, Rosati needs to be straightforward with expectations when dealing with potential customers. Two months for designs/estimates on a very simple porch (no heating, flooring, or electrical work needed) redo is not acceptable. It makes me question if Rosati is really in the Home Improvement business.

Great experience! The salesman was more of a window consultant. As advertised, they are not pushy. They present options, and leave you with a competitive price. The installation crew were very professional. They cleaned up the mess each day and we could barely tell that they had been there. Good quality, nice guys. We had one issue. Our downstairs bathroom window was installed further inside than the previous window, it was also a casement window which has a crank that comes another couple inches inside. With that, we could not close our wood blinds. We were also having trouble finding other options that would work where the crank would not interfere. On our written review (which everyone gets after the job is complete) we gave all great reviews but mentioned this issue. If we had known this before installation we would have used privacy glass. We promptly received a call from Mike Rosati, who personally reads all reviews, saying that he would give us a new privacy pane of glass at no charge. We were relieved and very impressed! I would recommend Rosati to anyone.

I stopped by the booth at the Columbus Home and Garden show to speak with the company rep. I was interested at that time in getting an estimate. They told me about the upcoming open house at the Rosati factory. I attended the open house. In the meantime, i also got estimates at my home from two other companies. At the open house, I scheduled a time for Rosati to come out to my home for a free estimate. They promptly scheduled a visit. At this visit, the rep was very helpful and gave me some additional recommendations for the type of windows that would be helpful - including obscured glass in my bathroom and a "crank-out" type window above my kitchen sink. They offered me a very detailed written estimate. Their estimate contained more detail than other estimates and I knew exactly what I was getting for my money. I ended up going with Rosati for a number of reasons: 1. I like to use a local business when I can, 2. The salesperson was very professional and helpful, 3. The cost was more that the other companies but I felt that the quality was better and I felt that the service would be good too if I need it in the future. The installation was expected to take at least 1 1/2 days. The installers worked very quickly, were very professional, and finished it all in one day. They showed me how the windows work, and I received a follow-up call a week or more later to make sure everything was good. I would definately recommend this company and would use them again. The saleman was the best. He did not pressure me but was very knowledgeable about the windows and explained the differences in the quality versus other brand windows.

Everyone from John the salesman to Matt and Shawn, the installer to the final inspector was professional and knowledgeable, it was indeed a "wonderful buying experience".
