Rosati Windows

Were happy, very nice windows, I thought it was reasonable price, timely manner. The windows works very well, the installer was quick, cleaned up, I was happy with them.

I have had a lot of conflict about writing this report and therefore, have put it off for a few weeks. First, the really important and wonderful part: Mike did a fabulous job of installing my new door. It is lovely! And it is perfect! It was not an easy installation and he had to order extra parts, and do extra work to make it all fit exactly right. And he did! He is an amazing worker. I do not fault him for not installing on the first expected date because he recognized things that had to be done first- like power wash the deck- which we had done. We also had it stained/sealed in advance of the installation of the new door. So why would I hesitate to give this company a perfect score in every area? Their customer service is horrible!! I called and had someone come out to look at the space on December 9, 2013. That person told us to come to the showroom and see the door, try it. That made perfect sense although I was ready to hire Rosati's because of the wonderful reviews on here. I arrived on a very snowy day (2-10-2014) and there was no one at the reception desk. I waited as long as I could stand (I have a minor disability) and then I found a chair and sat. One sales person was with a customer and told me he would be with me soon. I waited and waited and waited. Eventually a young lady was leaving and I asked if she worked there. She did and I asked if anyone could help me. She checked and then took me back to the office of the sales manager. Or, I think that is his job. He helped me, I saw the new door, and then I ordered it and paid a deposit. What followed then was a series of phone calls asking to be scheduled, and then, after Mike came out the first time, more calls to tell them we had done our work and were ready for the installation. Sometimes I was told that someone would call me back the next day. No call. Another time I was told that the special part for the installation was in- but it had not been examined. I would be called the next day to report on the examination of the part. No call. Each time I called back. Again and again. Finally, after expressing that the company had terrible customer service, I WAS called back and the installation was scheduled for the following week. And then, it was all perfect!! Thank you to Mike and Richard for a wonderful door. It looks lovely, it works perfectly and I am very happy to look through the beautiful windows each day.

They were punctual, they were good, they did what they did. We would use them again. Very professional, good quality products. They are very good, wonderful. What we liked was their products and that the installers really knew what they were doing. They are not the most expensive, but they're not the cheapest either.

The crew arrived on time, were efficient, finished on schedule and cleaned up all and left. The inspector later was extremely helpful, answering all questions I had about the windows. I didn't have them replace the inside windows from my kitchen to the enclosed porch - I may call them back this fall and have them do it.

Excellent experience from start to finish. Sales agent Paul was very professional, prompt and answered all questions. Price quoted during estimate visit. Although this was not the lowest quote we rcv'd for the replacement windows, the quality of the product was superior. Time quoted (4-6 weeks) from time of order to install was right on. Although they initially told us to expect two days to install, they were able to bring two crews and installation was completed in one day. The crews (George and Allen were leads) were very professional and installation was a very clean process. I am beyond impressed with the quality of the windows. We ordered beige and they matched our home exterior perfectly. We have already noticed a considerable difference in cooling in the home with the new windows. The double hung feature makes cleaning a breeze. The standard full sized screens making opening the windows from the top a nice option. I wish we would have ordered these five years ago. Do not hesitate to order from this company....we had a top notch experience from start to finish.

They were wonderful! The whole process was very professional.

It was excellent. The installer I had was Carl Russell Jr., and he was great. He had to remove a security grate first to do the window. He actually went out of his way to remove a grate off a second window so I could paint them both while they were off so they matched. I was really impressed at how he really went above and beyond. Rosati Windows are fantastic windows, as well. I've used them before in the past, and I will certainly use them again if I need to.

They were excellent. From the beginning when they bring somebody, they go over everything and they were very clear knew exactly what I was getting. The choices were given to me and they allowed me to choose. They came when they said, they had them installed within a day and they came in the morning. The price seemed reasonable to me as I didn’t have anything to compare it to, as for me according to the workmanship and everything, it was a fair number.

My husband and I contacted Rosati to install all new windows on the front of the house. The crew leader, Hank, worked h****** the project and since his co-worker had to take his daughter to the doctor unexpectedly, Hank did the whole job himself (5 windows). Hank discussed the situation with me and that it would take 2 days instead of 1. I was o.k. with that since illness isn't something you can control. We've used Rosati in the past to install a sliding door and another window. Their product, pricing and sales team are superior. They do not do a hard sell and that's because the product sells itself.

The sales guy, Butch, is wonderful. He is very low pressure and never gives you a sales pitch and gets right to the point. He educates you about windows and doesn't give you any gimmicks. The price is the price and he doesn't concoct any sales or discounts because you attended a show. He just give you the price when it is done. He is very responsive in calling you back with follow up questions that he is happy to answer. A second guy comes to double check all measurements and takes maybe 15 minutes and he's gone. The third call you get is to schedule the appointment and they work with you to make it happen. Then the crew come and the 2 guys that came were also wonderful. There was some rotting of subfloor issues where one of the new patio doors was going to go but they replaced the strip of subfloor with new subfloor, and put an aluminum strip down to ensure what happened with the old door does not happen with the new door. You can tell all they care about is doing the best service they can provide and they are very easy going people to deal with from start to finish. I know I made the right choice and the windows and new patio doors are just wonderful. They are the only option to choose if you're looking to get new windows or patio doors.

We got word of mouth on them and they were great. They have good prices and products which are made locally. I like their honesty, quality, workmanship, and that they give back to the community.

I was a little disappointed in how bulky their product is and that they don't use all the available space from the openings to make the viewing area as large as possible. But, at literally half the cost of the nearest estimate, I would use them again.

It's a very professional company. You're satisfied the whole way from talking to the representative through the installation of the windows. They send another person out, after the windows are installed, to check them over. You have a very good experience with Rosati Windows. They gave a good selection of windows to choose from. I have used them again. I bought a door from them since then.

From the initial estimate to the final installation everyone and everything was great.

Rosati windows definitely lives up to it's reputation. From the sales person, Mike Love, to the installers, everyone was top notch. They were all very personable and professional. My house was built in Hocking County where there are no building codes, so there were some challenges that took extra time and effort. My new windows are beautiful and so easy to use and clean. They cleaned up the building site and all of their messes completely. I plan on having them do some door work in the future.

The windows look fantastic and they were installed professionally. I am less satisfied with the doors and I would maybe recommending going with someone else for them. They had to come back and fix the installation and they were not as good a price as the windows.

I found them through Angie’s List and they have almost completed the work. They first sent a sales representative and because what I wanted only came in two variations, I really didn’t need any pictures and I knew exactly what kind I wanted. However, the sales rep was very thorough verbally. I chose because of their many good reviews on Angie’s List. I mentioned them to my sister that lived here for a long time long ago and she said they have a good reputation in the community. I had contacted other companies, they were the only one that came through with the estimate, and it was just perfect. I didn’t know what it would cost but I knew what I wanted was going to be pricier than some other products and I was just willing to pay for that. There were fingerprints on the windows when they were done, so I had to clean them up myself but I don’t know if that was a bad thing. They were insignificant prints so I am sure they didn’t even see them. Everything else was immaculate. They had to knock down my old glass block windows and when I went down after the job was done, there was absolutely not a speck of dust anywhere. Apart from that one or two smudges, it was a great cleanup. I didn’t get a chance to comparison shop for prices.

They have high quality products and craftsmanship. Their customer service was good. I would use them in the future.

They did a good job. We have a million windows and when we bought the house we had the casement windows. We had bent screens. It has made a world of difference having them easy to open and close, having clean screens. It's worth it. Their work was wonderful, the quality was great. The installers were wonderful. They knew what they were doing and made them look really nice. There was one little issue with one of them and they called immediately. They are a local business and they make the windows here too.

Overall, this has been a very poor experience. The sales manager we have been working with is the only reason we have not walked away and contracted with another company but even his above and beyond assistance cannot make up for this experience.We originally ordered the exterior door in mid November and were told it would be 5-7 weeks for installation but they would do their best to make it 5 because we did not have a secured door on our home. The 7th week was just before Christmas and we had not heard a thing so we called Rosati. We were told that the person we needed to talk to was out of the office until the 1st of the year and we would have to wait for a status on our door. Begrudgingly, we waited and called back after the New Year. There was very poor communication at this time and we honestly thought there was never going to be a door installed from the lack of response. We finally gave a drop dead date of January 15th or we were going to ask for our money back and go work with another company. Rosati agreed to an installation on January 15th but less than an hour before they were supposed to be there, the installer called to cancel. We rescheduled an appointment for the next week and let them know this was their last chance.That week the door was installed....but it was the WRONG door! Beyond being the incorrect door, I was appalled at the quality of the door and the handle. I cannot believe Rosati would sell such an inferior product. We quickly again started working with the sales manager and he was very responsive in helping us get a new door chosen and installed. I recently heard from the sales manager that to get the "higher quality" door (which to me is still of inferior quality to other doors I have been shopping around for), it is going to be an additional $917! This additional cost puts the total cost for the door and wall repair WELL over what the insurance adjuster quoted (and other contractors would have done it for) and that estimated included painting our entire downstairs to ensure the paint color matched we we are not having done. We obviously have to keep this horrible and incredibly embarrassing door on our house until a new one arrives but even more interesting now is that IT WON'T EVEN OPEN! The latch was broken within a few weeks and we only use the about once or twice a week! When I reported the broken door, they did send someone out to fix so at least we can let guests in our front door until we finally settle this situation. I recently heard from Rosati again and there is now another door option and this one is only going to cost us $600 more. We are obviously not going to pay them any more money for another inferior product. I am absolutely baffled at the poor quality of product provided and such a ridiculously high price....and audacity to attempt to charge us an additional $917/$600 for a crappy door after the horrible installation experience we have had. If we had not already paid Rosati and have their door on our house, I would absolutely be working with someone else. I feel stuck to accept another embarrassing door because there is no way I am paying them another dollar. I would highly recommend going with ANYONE else if you are looking for an exterior door.

They do a nice job for a very reasonable price. They're quick, they get the job done in one day and they are very responsive and wonderful. It was very reasonable for what I had done. I went to their showroom and they had a sale and picked out what I wanted. The then sent a salesman to the house to measure up. They were professional, very good installers and they make all of their windows. They were very knowledgeable and were not pushy at all. They cleaned up after they were finished.

Great sales experience- Yes. Structural quality-Yes. Weather tight- No Way. If most people would actually check there windows to see if they are leaking air, they would be surprised. I have had several windows seals break and it takes several weeks to get the service dept. to even come out to look at them, then you have to wait several more weeks for them to replace. This says a lot about the quality of the product if the service dept. is this busy (they even hired another service person). Rosati a nice guy-Sure, But that doesn't make the quality of the windows better.

Their price was reasonable but their service was terrible. They broke a window and it took them longer to fix the broken window; it took them six weeks to come out and do the windows and it took them eight weeks to fix what they broke.

Rosati was very prompt at returning my request for an in home estimate and got it scheduled within a few days. When the sales representative (didn't know his name until he emailed me a quote after visiting my home) came to my home I explained to him that we were redoing a bathroom and found a window had a leak and we were concerned about the rest of the windows because they were showing the same types of damage as the leaky window. Immediately, before taking a look at any windows he said that they are running 12-14 weeks to install from time of signing the contract. He asked if I still wanted to proceed with measuring or if "it would be a waste of time"? I wanted to proceed because I was thinking to myself I would like to see the product because if it is that good it would be worth the extra wait to have a quality window in the home we plan on living in for a long time. We went through the measurements and could tell that he was in a rush and was wanting to leave. Our appointment was at 4:30pm so I'm guessing he wanted to get home early. I began to ask questions hoping he would go into detail about the windows and what Rosatti windows offer. I had done a little bit of research over the internet about replacement windows but still didn't know enough about them to make an informed decision as a consumer. The sales representative did answer my questions and I told him I liked the idea of their wood and vinyl window and was interested in that. He said he would price them out over the weekend and email a quote for everything Saturday or Sunday. All in all he was at my home for about 20-25 minutes. I did not receive an email from him (at which time I also learned his name) until Monday morning which is not a big deal, but he could of said Monday. Since then I have scheduled 3 more in home estimates within 4 days of having Rosatti come out. All of them (including Home Depot) came in my home and took their time with me. I did not feel rushed or unimportant. They sat down with me and brought in sample windows and showed me things to look for in quality windows. They answered all my questions and concerns. After having 4 in home consultations done Rossatti was hands down the worst. My wife and I were very surprised by this due to all the advertisement they do ranting about their customer service and the good things we have heard word of mouth about them. Nonetheless, we are still shopping around but wanted to put this out there because this was a very recent experience we had and I know with the weather we are having in central Ohio I am probably not the only customer shopping for windows. I believe that these windows are the best in the market. Very professional, and knowledgeable about all tasked performed. They completed the project in a very timely manner. Friendly and answered all questions. I highly recommend Rosati Windows. Josie
