Description of Work: They came out to do the estimate but didn't call back. I called them and was told I would probably be contacted the next day. I was not. They called back about 2 weeks later with the estimate after the work was already done.

THE FIX IT CREW WAS PURCHASED BY NEW OWNERS IN 2007. A NEW MANAGEMENT TEAM WAS BROUGHT IN AND THESE TYPES OF ISSUES HAVE BEEN ADDRESSED. THE REPORTS ON WORK WE HAVE DONE ARE ALL GOOD. THE ISSUES ALL REVOLVED AROUND GETTING QUOTES AND PHONE CALLS BACK TO POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS. WE HAVE SET UP A TRACKING SYSTEM WHICH KEEPS A RECORD OF THE CUSTOMER'S INITIAL PHONE CALL, TO WHEN THE THE QUOTE WAS SCHEDULED, TO WHEN THE CUSTOMER RECEIVED THE QUOTE. THIS INFORMATION IS REVIEWED ONCE A WEEK BY MANAGEMENT TO ASSURE EACH CUSTOMER WAS HANDLED IN A TIMELY MANNER.

Description of Work: The project was replacement of 14 windows and 1 door wall. We were spending a little extra on the door wall to get high quality, in-window blinds, etc. David Schultz was our sales person. He was extremely helpful, low-pressure, informative, and positive. We elected to go with fiberglass rather than vinyl, otherwise we would have gone with Rosati. We looked at and met with several other companies. ($9,420.00)

Description of Work: Brent Combs came out to give us an estimate on replacing 32 old metal casement windows in our home with new vinyl casement windows. Brent was absolutely wonderful to work with, polite, knowledgeable, and gave no pressure. We fully intended to use Rosati and Brent to do the work but then had an unexpected change in finances that prevented us from doing the work at that time. Since then, my in-laws have offered their assistance under the condition that we use their family friend connection in the window business. We couldn't turn that offer down, but had we been doing it all ourselves, we'd have used Rosati.

Description of Work: WE ASKED THEM TO COME OUT AND CHECK OUR WINDOWS TO SEE IF WE NEEDED NEW WINDOWS. WE HAVE WOODEN WINDOWS AND THEY SAID NO, BECAUSE WOOD WINDOWS ARE TWICE AS EXPENSIVE AS VINYL WINDOWS AND ALL WE NEEDED WAS NEW THERMAL PANES IN SOME OF THE WINDOWS.

WHEN THIS CUSTOMER ORDERED HIS WINDOWS, WE MISSED ONE. THE ERROR WAS NOT DISCOVERED UNTIL THE DAY OF INSTALLATION. OUR CUSTOMER PURCHASED THE MISSED WINDOW AND WAS IN AGREEMENT THAT HE WAS NEVER CHARGED. THE REAL ISSUE IS THAT IT TOOK US SIX WEEKS TO GET THIS WINDOW INSTALLED. I SPOKE WITH THE CUSTOMER AND I AGREED THAT WE DROPPED THE BALL. AS A CONSUMER MYSELF, I KNOW I WOULD HAVE BEEN UPSET. SINCE OUR CONVERSATION, I HAVE SENT OUR CUSTOMER A FULL REFUND FOR THE MISSED WINDOW, AND I BELIEVE HE IS NOW SATISFIED. MIKE ROSATI

Description of Work: INSTALLED DOOR. DOOR IS GOOD QUALITY BUT THEY LEFT NAIL HOLES AND AFTER CALLING THEM, THEY FILLED WITH CAULKING THAT YOU CANT PAINT. DOOR LOCK BROKE TWICE AND WE LOCKED IN. THEY ACT AS IF IT IS YOUR FAULT BUT THEY DID COME OUT TWICE AND FIXED IT. MAYBE IT WILL LAST AWHILE. SALESMEN DON''T CALL BACK.
