Ron Murphy is the BEST!!! Best price. Great service! In the 20 years I have used his service they have NEVER steered me wrong and ALWAYS beat other estimates.

Did a new furnace install. No permit (did not realize this 'till later). Furnace wired wrong. They did not fix it on recall.....I had to have an outside company rewire it. Installed outside venting upside down and the water destroyed my shingle siding. Did not drain the high-efficiency furnace and now it has water inside that can not be remediated w/o tearing out the entire furnace. Do NOT use this company.

I called him on Friday night he said he would call me at 9am Saturday morning and he didn't I waited around til 12 noon nothing so I left and he calls me at 12:30 and says he can send someone over I told him I already left for the day why didn't he call like he said he would. Told me his guy was working on another job and he said a cuss word and said I guess I screwed up. Said he would call Sunday morning it is now 10:40 AM and he hasn't called yet. He finally calls me at in the afternoon and its not the original guy I talked to its the actual guy who does the work. He says he is close to my house and I am not there yet but will be so he says he will go to coffee shop and for me to call him when I got home. Before I get home he calls and ask me if I live on the corner and if I drive a mustang???? I proceed to tell him I am not home yet but will be shortly. I get there and he automatically knows my problem just from a short conversation and says it needs Freon but he doesn't have any with him he will have to go get it. I ask him okay how much he says $150.00 I told him never mind I will just contact home warranty people and wait for another company. I asked him why the confusion with the phone calls and not calling me back he said the guy who owns company was in Florida and forgot to tell him about Sat am and he didn't really have an excuse for Sunday. BEWARE OF THESE PEOPLE!!!

Installation and service was very good. They worked with the tenets to get the inside electrical work done quickly.

I received a call from my tenant that the furnace was blowing cold air. I figured that the pilot had gone out, so I went over to take a look. After trying to start it, and it not staying on, I called another company to go over to repair it. I was told that the exchanger was completely rusted through and various other issues. The repair was going to cost more than a replacement. With that, I called three (3) companies for a quote, on a Saturday morning. Two came out that morning, Ron was one of them. We talked about what was needed and how the work would be done. He said that the work would be done on Monday. I called him later that Saturday to OK the work for Monday. On Monday afternoon, I called the tenant - she told me that the crew came in at 8am and were done at 10am! I went by after work to inspect the work and everything was spot on. The guys cleaned up after themselves too. As a stickler for the paperwork, I would have liked to see the invoice and all warranty information a little faster, but these guys seem like the "get it done" types, as opposed to the "bureaucratic" types. Yes, I will use them again.

It was not a good experience at all. It still isn't working right. He did a lousy job and he charged to much. He put in a gas fireplace a year ago and he used this yellow flex tubing and he's got that sticking out so you can see it, so it ruins the look of the fireplace. I wasn't happy with the job at all. The valve doesn't work. The guy he sent didn't know what he was doing.

I have always gotten great service from Ron Murphy. He is prompt and does the job well. Best of all, he doesn't oversell you with extra charges and will actually tell you if something really doesn't need work (e.g. furnace cleaning). I have not found this to be true with many HVAC companies.

He has been here in our village for sometime so he understands the homes in our area are a bit older and how to work with the older systems.

I hired this man based on a personal recommendation of a friend of mine and I am so grateful to her. He doesn't charge anywhere near what the larger heating and A/C companies charge. (We had him do repair work on the same furnace last year: Our first experience with him.) We had agreed this time on an estimated charge but he got delayed more than once and after he came out and did the work, said he wasn't going to charge us because of that and because we were so understanding of the other emergencies he was tending to. Yes, he can have a gruff personality but maybe that is from dealing with some irritable people, who knows? All I know is that he takes good care of our furnace and I like his service very much.

THEY DIDNT CHARGE US TO LOOK AT OUR FURNACE, THEY CAME WITHIN AN HOUR AFTER CALLING. WE HAD ESTIMATES FOR MORE THAN $1000 AND THEY DID THE WORK FOR LESS THAN $400. THEY WERE VERY HONEST AND FAIR. THEY COULD HAVE JUST DONE WHAT THE OTHERS WANTED TO DO BUT HE DIDNT THEY WERE HONEST.

I WOULD HAVE GLADLY PAID MORE TO ANOTHER SERVICE PROVIDER FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICE. THIS SERVICE PROVIDER WAS RECOMMENDED TO ME BY A RELATIVE AND IT IS BY FAR THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD AS A HOMEOWNER. MORE DETAIL CAN BE PROVIDED IF YOU WANT IT.

HAD A FURNUCE CLEANED AND THEY WERE JUST WONDERFUL.

SO PROMPT, SO QUICK. FOUND THE PROBLEM FIXED IT AND DID A GREAT JOB! I GIVE THEM AND EXCELLENT RATING!

INSTALLED AC. GOOD RESULTS, WOULD RECOMMEND.

CALLED FOR NEW A/C BECAUSE OTHER PROVIDER SAID NEEDED NEW ONE. MURPHY SAID THE PROBLEM COULD EASILY FIXED FOR $50.
