Rogers Basement Waterproofing

Description of Work: They rebuilt the basement walls to make the basement waterproof because we were getting mold and water in the basement. The work was done in January of '07.

Description of Work: They installed 14 steel beams in my basement. They also put a sump pump in and an interior drain in the basement.

Description of Work: Mr. Rogers was a real pro, he came out to our German Village home and looked around for the water problems. He diagnosed the problem as being gutter related and made suggestions. He said I didn't need a basement treatment at this time. Great guy !

Description of Work: Foreman Paul Boeriu came to look at an isolated water problem in our basement. He quickly determined that the simple cause was a downspout that wasn't properly connected to the drainage system, at which point he referred the work to another company. Though we didn't end up needing the company, he was on time, professional and really honest!

Description of Work: I contacted Roger's Basement Waterproofing to look at a home we are thinking about purchasing. Paul was quick to return my call, very professional, and gave us great advice. We ended up not needing their services, but will use them in the future if the need arises.

Description of Work: My basement was checked for water problems, and it was determined that I had another problem and did not need waterproofing. This company recommended someone to help me and pointed out the problems. There was no charge and they were of great help and obviously very honest!! I would call them again anytime.

Description of Work: I CALLED FOR AN ESTIMATE AND THEY RETURNED MY CALL THE SAME DAY. MIKE WAS ON TIME AND HONEST. HE TOLD ME THAT I DIDN'T NEED HIS SERVICES AND RECOMMENDED THE TYPE OF WORK THAT NEEDED TO BE DONE. HE GAVE ME THE NAME OF SOMEONE WHO COULD HELP.

Description of Work: COMPANY PERFORMED WORK AS CONTRACTED - WERE FRIENDLY AND TIMELY AND DID A GOOD JOB AS FAR AS WE KNOW. WE DID THINK THEY WERE A BIT PRICEY NOW THAT WE HAVE CHECKED AROUND BUT THEY WERE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AND WE NEEDED IT DONE PROMPTLY. I WAS PARTICULARLY IMPRESSED WITH THEIR DIGGING UP THE LAWN FOR THE LINES TO THE STREET - THEY DID IT BY HAND AND CAUSED LITTLE DAMAGE TO LAWN. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM FOR SURE, WITH THE UNDERSTANDING THEY ARE NOT CHEAP.

Description of Work: INSTALLED PERIMETER DRAINAGE SYSTEM WHICH INCLUDED RUNNING UNDERGROUND DRAIN PIPES FROM THE HOUSE TO THE STREET. THEY DID A GOOD JOB OF OF REPLACING THE CONCRETE WASHTUB. THEY DID SOME COMPLIMENTARY STUFF THAT ADDS TO AN EXPERIENCE TO MAKE IT VERY GOOD.

Description of Work: THEY LOOKED OVER MY BASEMENT & ADVISED ME THAT I PROBABLY HAD A PROBLEM WITH MY WATER LINE THAT DRAINS THE SUMP PUMP & ROOF GUTTERS. THEY ADVISED ME TO CALL A COMPANY THAT DEALS WITH DRAINS.

INSTEAD OF TRYING TO SELL US SERVICES WE DIDN''T NEED HE OFFERED ALTERNATIVE, LOW COST METHODS TO SOLVE OUR PROBLEM. NONE OF THOSE ALTERNATIVES INVOLVED HIS COMPANY. I APPRECIATE HIS HONESTY AND WOULD NOT HESITATE TO CONTACT HIM AGAIN IF WE EVER DO NEED BASEMENT WATERPROOFING.

Description of Work: MIKE STEARNS CAME OUT AND LOOKED AT THE WALL IN QUESTION IN OUR BASEMENT AND OFFERED A SOLUTION THAT WE COULD COMPLETE OURSELVES WITH VERY LITTLE COST.

Description of Work: WE HAD A CONTRACT WITH ROGERS BASEMENT WATERPROOFING AND THEY NEVER CAME TO DO THE WORK. POOR EXCUSES WERE MADE GIL ROGERS ON TWO SCHEDULED DATES, BUT HE DID NOT COME. ONE TIME HE SAID THE CREW NEEDED TIME OFF AND THE OTHER TIME HE SAID HE WOULD BE DOING THE WORK . THE STORY WAS ALWAYS DIFFERENT. HE KNEW WE WERE DEPENDING ON HIS PROMPTNESS BECAUSE WE WERE IN THE PROCESS OF FINISHING OFF OUR BASEMENT. WE HAD TO DELAY OUR CONSTRUCTION AND HIRE SOMEONE ELSE.

Description of Work: I HAVE A SMALL BASEMENT LEAK AND HAD RECEIVED A $5K ESTIMATE TO HAVE THE WATER LINE REPLACED. PAUL CAME OUT AND ADVISED ME TO HAVE THE CITY LEAK TEST THE LINE. THEY DID AND IT IS NOT LEAKING. PAUL SAVED ME $5K! UNFORTUNATELY, ROGERS DOES NOT DO THE KIND OF WORK I NEED. I HAVE USED THEM BEFORE AND THEY ARE EXCELLENT.
