Rogers Basement Waterproofing

Excellent! I had heard many good things about this company from Angie's List and neighbors, but they lived up to all of them. The crew was very professional and the original salesman was very honest and didn't try to sell us more than we needed (like other companies did). It's been a few months since the job was done and the basement is dry.

I chose Rogers based on their reviews on Angie's List and I want to add my own glowing review. These guys were awesome! The amount and quality of work that was performed far exceeded the cost. Trust me when I say they are the only company to go with. You will NOT be disappointed. I will be added to their huge reference list and highly recommend Rogers Basement Waterproofing.

I have 2 small leaks in my basement. Mike looked in my basement and suggested that I check for improper drainage from the downspouts first, rather than trying to sell me a waterproofing package. His estimate was no charge.

They did an absolutely superb job! Their work was very thorough, also very neat and tidy, we had hardly any cleanup. I didn't expect the work on my outside yard drains, so my overall experience is that they greatly exceeded my expectations! The final proof was that this past weekend (the 3-day MLK weekend) with 3 days of constant rain, we had no water whatsoever in our basement!

Roger's was pleasant and very professional. He took time to find out what my needs were and even recommended that I hold off on any work until I'm ready to finish the basement. He still provided me with an estimate of $7800, which I felt was reasonable. Since his visit, I've since decided to have the work done because I'd simply be delaying the inevitable. I decided to go with another ''A'' rated Angie's list contractor who will perform all necessary work for less than Roger's but installing adjustable steel beams that can actually straighten my walls over time. When I informed Rogers of my decision, the rep. attempted to dissuade me from using adjustable beams due to physics, saying that a bowed wall can't be straightened without excavating from the outside, which I felt was a sales job, but hey, he's trying to get business. I'd rather try the adjustable beams than not try them and wonder what if. Despite my decision, I'd definitely recommend Roger's for waterproofing services.

Two days, seven workers. Great attitudes. Fantastic work!

My rep, Mike Stearns was great. They had an unexpected opening and offered me a significant discount (hint,hint) if I would fill the voided slot for them. They took care of everything for me and even moved my furnace humidifier line from the middle of the floor into the drain tile w/o my asking. Also added an additional concrete drill and downspout drain at no extra cost. Used plastic to reduce the mess, did the whole job in two days. One of his men accidentally cemented up a drain for a basement utility sink and he has promised to come out and fix it right. Excellent service, communication, etc. Great job. Yes they have more overhead but the price is certainly competitive and they took good care of this customer.

I used them for my first sump pump and so naturally I called them to replace my new sump pump! They are great! They are only going to charge me for what the sump pump cost and not the labor.

Our Rogers representative was on time and very knowledgeable. Upon complete inspection of our basement and our water damage he thoroughly explained our basement problems and our options. Turns out that he recommended that we find the source of our water (gutters, downspouts, garden hose...etc.) and that there was no "real" water damage at all. He recommended some professionals to contact for additional assistance and also explained how we as new home owners would be able to do the work ourselves. He was honest and very informative. It says a lot about a company when they assess the situation and tell homeowners that their company's services are unnecessary! It was very refreshing and I would recommend this company to anyone looking for professional service.

I cannot say enough about this company. Everyone was polite, respectful, on time, and very knowledgeable. Once they entered my house plastic was installed to cover everything. All concrete was passed out our basement window with buckets so the workers were not tracking through the house and they explained each step very thoroughly. For a big difficult job they did a great job keeping the mess to a minimum. I had four estimates for waterproofing and Rogers was right in the middle.

The basement wall leaks a little bit and a musty smell permeates into the living area. I called Rogers for an estimate and Mike came out. He was very friendly and prompt. He told me he could cut a trench in basement floor and install a sump pump for $4000, but said if I fixed the exterior issue that would likely take care of the problem. The gutters are in bad shape and the water pools behind my condo after a rain. Mike didn't try to sell me on any work and offered good advice in the 5 minutes he was here.

Paul Boeriu came by promptly and inspected the basement completely. He was very professional. He explained, that we had concrete basement walls and that they are porous. He said with an old house like ours, it was to be expected to have some discoloration. He said the basement looked great and that he didn't want us to spend a dime on something, that didn't need to be repaired. We were just so impressed with his professionalism. He had the longest list of references, even the Governor's Mansion. We would give them the highest possible rating and would absolutely use them, if in the future we needed them.

They were professional, nice, they cleaned up very well, and they did a fantastic job. The guy who gave the estimate was very likeable and personable, but also very professional. They got the job done in about a day and a half, and it was a very big job. They did great.

After a few experiences I've had I have never been so happy and pleased with a companies work before. Everyone and I mean everyone I dealt with from this company as I called John Rogers myself personally and gave him every name that entered my home was so courteous, compassionate, kind, and yes of course professional I can't put in words how grateful we are to Mr Rodgers if it weren't for the add in the Phone book with Angies List logo on it and Tim Malarick advising me to call and check them out with the BBB and Angies list I would probably have called the wrong company again. I strongly recommend Rogers Basement waterproofing to everyone. I also greatly appreciated how clean they were and how hard they worked to be honest it was a true pleasure having them do my waterproofing.

Called and was told someone would call to schedule appointment for estimate. Never called.

The man that came out spent 3 minutes in my basement before he told me what would need to be done and gave me an estimate for the work. The estimate was so outrageous that I knew they were not interested in a smaller job.

This company is quite simply the best. From the first time Tim Malarick scheduled the estimate to the day the project was finished, he exceeded my expectations. Tim was a true pro about the job. He explained every detail of the work the company would do for us without ''talking down'' to me or trying to sell me services that were unnecessary for our house. Tim went even further for our project and scheduled for two glass block windows to be installed and for a concrete floor to be poured after the waterproofing was done. If you are considering having any waterproofing done in your home, your first call should be to Rogers.

Their whole crew was very professional. They all worked very hard to resolve, what was a really bad situation in the basement. When the basement wasn't as dry as we hoped, they came right back out and were very apologetic and added an additional drain, at no extra cost.

I called this company to evaluate the need for waterproofing measures prior to large basement renovation. I received a call back from a service tech later the same day and told him I was concerned about possible mold. In all fairness, he told me that a home inspector may be better to identify mold, but that he could still come to our house and evaluate for moisture problems. He then said he would come the following day, and call prior to arriving. He never arrived and never called to cancel. I waited all day to hear back from this company, they didn't not keep their appt. nor call. Terrible customer service.

THEY DID A FANTASTIC JOB! MIKE STEARNS AND HIS CREW WERE PROMPT, KNOWLEDGEABLE, COURTEOUS, AND VERY CLEAN. THEY WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND WHAT WAS REQUIRED, EVEN GROUTING OVER SOME OPEN BLOCK CORES IN THE TOP OF A FEW FEET OF SHORT WALL UNDER THE STAIRS FOR US. THEY COMPLETED ALL THE WORK IN TWO DAYS, AND WHEN SOMETHING FELL ON THE WET CONCRETE AFTER THEY LEFT, THEY WERE BACK THE VERY NEXT DAY TO PATCH OVER THE MARK. THEY EVEN RE-WORKED THE CONDENSATION LINES FROM THE FURNACE SO IT WOULD FLOW TOWARD THE NEW DRAIN RIGHT WHERE WE WANTED IT. AND, IF THEIR EXCELLENT WORKMANSHIP WASN'T ENOUGH, THEIR PRICES WERE VERY REASONABLE TOO, RIGHT IN LINE WITH THE OTHER THREE ESTIMATES WE HAD. WE WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND RODGERS BASEMENT TO ANYONE!

The were here Monday and Tuesday. They had to do trenching all around my basement. Then they put in pipe and covering it back up, so now there is cement covering where they did the work. It was exceptionally good. They were very pleasant and courteous. I was not sure exactly what to expect but I have had several people look at it and they said it was an exceptional job.

They got in and got to work and were efficient. They were great. They really worked like a team together! Paul, the lead, was very committed to his work and trustworthy.

What a great experience! What an honest company. They could have easily told us we needed to spend a couple of thousand dollars to repair the cracks (in fact, two other companies did). Instead, Rogers Basement got no money for their time. However, I would definitely call them if I had a problem, and I have already told my friends about them!

SO nice! Paul suggested that we work on the outside first, replacing gutters and having paver patio redone, as it was sloped towards foundation. Referred us to a gutter guy, who was fantastic! He came out and did the work promptly, was professional, nice and was VERY affordable. Paul asked for a follow up phone call to know what we had done, if it was working and also to check on the gutter work. He informed us that in the future if we had any other home improvement needs, to contact him. He was very timely in responding to our calls and was so helpful. Would work with him again in a heart beat!
