We had been having water in basement after rains, and Paul inspected property and told me exactly what I needed and did not need. They scheduled the work for the next day, and subsequent downpours have left NO water in basement. We are very pleased with this service.

Paul waled around our basement, crawl spaces, and outside. He educated us about how our house was built and gave us some advise on how to manage the seeping in the basement. He also walked around the outside of our house and pointed out to us where the grading in the lawn was helping the water make its way to our basement. He recommended a dehumidifier and regrading the lawn and said that we didn't need anything else. We appreciate his honesty and plan to call him again if we have any other basement issues.

I had a leak in my basement. I called Rogers Basement for an estimate. They were prompt in coming out to look at the problem. They could have socked me for some big fixes, but explained that structurally everything was fine, but that I probably had an issue with grade in that spot and/or downspouts. They did not charge me. I haven't had an issue since

Work had originally been done in 1986 for previous home owner. Work had a lifetime warranty. Rogers basement and waterproofing were perfectly happy to honor their old 1986 warranty free of charge. They spent a whole day working in the basement cutting up and removing old concrete. They drilled basement drainage holes to relieve water pressure from outside and connected these holes to underfloor drainage pipes leading to sump pump. They also rerouted sump pump to a new 2008 drainage system for $400 which was not covered by warranty. Cleaned up afterwards. System seems to work fine now.

I liked his honesty. He knew that if he had to come out it would be an expensive estimate. So he first encouraged me to have a plumber come out, who was unrelated to him. When we realized it was not a plumbing issue he came out and checked. The first thing he had to do was put water down the downspouts. That was really good. All he needed to do was fill in some topsoil or dirt and that solved the problem right away. We haven't had a leak in about six months now.

Roger's Basement (Paul) responded immediately to my call. Gave me the price for a new sump pump. He was very professional.... not pushy in any way. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

He found some issues we could fix ourselves or hire him to fix. He said the drain pipes from the house were not draining properly, and had probably been compromised by the roots that had grown from two trees in their area. I could see myself how the roots went right over one pipe. He noted the grade was negative(below surrounding dirt)so funneling water toward my concrete block basement walls. He then went to the street where the pipes were supposed to drain and we saw no water coming out and he noted the plastic piping was a different color, like a fix had been attempted previously. He said he could dig out and redo the piping for the drainpipes in three places, or we could do it ourselves and told me how. I asked him a question about weepholes, and he pulled out a photo book of their work and showed me how they operate. He is extremely professional, honest, punctual and polite. If we have work done, it will be with his company. I am saving his card. He gave me a rough estimate on the spot of costs of repair, but was quite happy to tell me how we could do it ourselves...how often do you find someone this honest and offering to do work at a reasonable cost? I am extremely happy with Rogers and with Paul.

I called the office near the end of business on the Friday of a holiday weekend and left a message. Paul Boeriu called me back that day and due to my schedule and the impending weather made room in his schedule sooner than I had hoped to come out to the house and assess our problem. I originally called about cracks in our foundation and basement water proofing. (We already had a few estimates for this work.) Paul took the time to check the exterior of the house as well and alerted me to the source of our problem which was a disconnected sump pump and clogged/broken drain pipes which were allowing water to drain directly into the foundation. Paul was very professional and helped me prioritize the work that needed to be done. He also encouraged me to compare estimates. When I called to schedule the work he set a date immediately due to bad weather and had a crew out within two days of his original visit. Paul came out with the crew and introduced me to the foreman , Jason, who was also professional and explained work as it was done. Jason and the rest of the crew worked within the time frame promised, cleaned up after themselves and left the yard and perimeter of the house looking better than it was when they arrived.

because of the great reviews on Angie's list for this company re: honesty, professionalism and fair price, we called Rogers. Paul came on time, even calling first so we wouldn't wait around for him. He looked at it inside and outside and told us it was just a cracked pipe in the downspout likely caused by a bush that were getting in the way of drainage. He told my husband exactly how to fix it once we have a warmer day. He charged us nothing for his time or advice. Wow. We will keep his name for the future and will tell all of our friends (as well as everyone on Angie's list) how much we appreciate his honesty. What a great company!

My home is 60 years old and the original clay tile exterior drains to the curbs (corner lot) had all collapsed over the years. I had improvised my own drainage system, but dampness around the foundation persisted. Rogers' crew arrived on time and dug a new system for my 8 drains. They did an excellent job of replacing the sod as well. I would definitely recommend them.

He was there for five minutes and he was very courteous. I would recommend him to other members. He was great. He was helpful and informative. He showed me the right direction.

He suggested to go with the least expensive fix first. They were extremely cooperative to help find the most cost effective solution. The work was done professionally and promptly. They impressed me so much that I did not seek an alternate bid. Due to their professional demeanor I would use them again in the future.

Paul gave us our estimate, and showed up with his crew the morning work began. Paul seems like a great guy - very down to earth, and we trusted his recommendations. (We also received an estimate from the basement doctor, and the estimate was $9K more and we felt like we were being sold.) The crew from Roger's Basement Waterproofing were a great group of professionals. You could really tell they had been in the industry for a while, and took pride in doing their job well. They were all very personable, and I cannot emphasize their professionalism enough! The job was completed in about 4 hours (maybe a little less). The beams that were installed seemed substantial, and very high quality (not small like some I've seen in other basements), and the concrete was broken out and replaced (after beams were installed) very cleanly. When I say cleanly, I mean they did a great job of breakout and refilling the concrete so that it was was smooth. The concrete was not completely level with the floor, and there was a good bit of dust, but that is to be expected. The results were great! We would recommend Roger's to anyone needing basement waterproofing work done. Paul also recommended 1st Choice Glass Block to us when we asked about having our basement windows replaced. We took his recommendation, and were also very pleased with their service and professionalism (in a separate report).

The service was excellent. When the original drains were installed they weren't guaranteed. I was very impressed that they came back to fix the problem free of charge. Very professional and responsible. Will use again.

I was very pleased with all the work that was done from start to finish! It was a big, messy job. Plus, the extra care the Rogers crew gave to returning my furniture and washer/dryer to their original positions a month later (after the concrete was cured) was very much appreciated! Paul Boeriu was accessible by phone and e-mail and he made sure that the company delivered what it promised to do in a timely and professional manner.

I have about half of my basement as a finished basement with panelling on the walls and a drop-down ceiling. I have for years had several spots in the basement where water was coming in from the outside, especially after heavy rains. I decided to have it taken care of. I checked Angies's List and received three estimates from A rated vendors. Two were within the same price range and the third was almost $3,000 higher. The third vendor wanted to do more than I thought I needed so I eliminated them. Of the two remaining I selected Rogers Basement Waterproofing to do the work. Paul came out to evaluate my needs. I had taken off the panelling and found some of the paneling and work framing was rotted and moldy. Paul said they would jackhammer about 12" of the floor around the basement walls and drill new weep holes in the block. They would install new drainage pipe going to my existing sump and pour new concrete. I told him I was going to leave the paneling off and needed the framing taken out and the walls bleached and painted. He gave me an estimate for the drain work and for a few hundred dollars more would remove the framing and bleach/paint the walls. The drainage system would carry a lifetime warrantee. I could not pass up the estimate and hired them to do the work. I found the crew to be professional and friendly. They covered everything in plastic to minimize dust. They said it would take 2 to 3 days to complete the job and to my surprise finished up by 2:00 pm on the second day. So far no more water has come into my basement. I would recommend Roger's as a company that does good work at a reasonable price, with a lifetime warrantee.

Mike Stearns did a good job explaining what needed to be done and giving a competitive estimate. He arranged for the engineer to come out and validate their strategy before getting started. The staff was very friendly and efficient. They clean up after themselves very well. They are a very good company to work with and I highly recommend them.

Three outside walls were bowed. Ground surface elevation was sloped towards house. Window wells were low. Gutter Drain lines in yard were clogged. No sump existed. It wasn?t pretty. Rogers broke out and removed the perimeter of the basement floor. They placed continuous drain pipe that directs any collected water to the new sump pump pit. They drilled many tightly-spaced weep holes through the inside of the base course of the concrete blocks just above the footer to drain any water potentially inside the cores of the blocks. They installed twenty Steel I-Beams spaced at intervals to brace existing bowed walls. They replaced all four outside subsurface drain pipes that flow from the four corners of the house to the curb. They neatly concreted around drain pipe outlets at the curb. They blacktopped over Gutter Drain pipes buried under length of driveway along side of house. After burying the new gutter drain lines in trenches, the sod was put back. Now, a couple of months later, no visible signs of the trench are visible in the grass. Good job! On one side of house, they replaced two window wells with new deeper ones, and placed tons of new top soil on the side of the house where the ground had been low, sloping down toward the house. It now slopes away. NOW HEAR THIS. During the several days required to finish this large project, we found each member of the working crew to be quiet, hard-working, conscientious, respectful and even polite. I was amazed to witness such a fine crew. I recommend this company.

A recent home inspection of my home in preparation for sale revealed that the back wall of my basement has shifted over its 40 yrs of existence, It had not caused any structural problems yet needed to be addressed for the buyer. After reviewing several companies (including the BIG name ones), I found Rogers Basement Waterproofing, Co. who had numerous satisfied customers and an A rating on Angie's List. Because I am selling the home, I did not want to spend a large amount on the remedy, but knew that a remedy was needed. Paul came to my home and inspected the wall. He arrived promptly and was very professional. After speaking to Paul for a few minutes, I realized that he is very honest and hardworking and has been working on basements for over 35 years! He was patient in explaining to me what his company could do to stop the wall from further damage. When we decided on a solution, he gave me a very fair quote for the work and gave me several suggestions as to how to prepare the basement for his crew, Paul was able to schedule my job within a week (even though his schedule was already tight,) On installation day, Paul's crew arrived on time and in a very professional manner, The foreman, Chris walked the basement with me and was very respectful and patient in explaining to me what his crew would be doing. The crew laid plastic sheeting the very first step and protected my hardwood floors and contained the dust from the concrete work. (My wife was VERY appreciative of this fact,) Paul called me and verified that his crew had arrived and everything was going well. He assured me that Chris (15 yrs experience) was very capable and did excellent work. Chris and his crew worked diligently and efficiently, they completed the job in half a day and the house was left clean. The work they completed was as estimated and I am very satisfied knowing that my buyer will not have any concern with the basement wall. I called Paul when the crew finished and told him how very satisfied I was with their work, I had forgotten to give Chris the Angie's List coupon upon payment, however Paul insisted on sending me a check for the coupon amount. I can't express how impressed my wife and I are with Paul and his company. It was a pleasure doing business with them and I definitely recommend them to anyone who needs basement waterproofing, structural engineering, or foundation work. *08/17/10 Received a check from Paul for the $50 coupon. Paul came out and took a look at my basement. He immediately went outside to check the area of the leak. He was convinced the problem was the way the rain was running off my roof and suggested that I put up a gutter splash and caulk up a small hole in the area where the sump pump pipe came out of the house. Those repairs cost about $20 and after several hard rains there have been no further leaks! I appreciate Paul's honesty and integrity.

I discovered some dampness in my finished basement in one corner. There was also some mold. I took out some drywall to see what was going on. There was some plumbing behind the drywall, but from what I could tell, there wasn't any leaking from the plumbing. I had been having problems with overflow from my gutters and was worried that I was having leakage around the foundation. Thinking I might need some basement experts and based on reviews on Angie's List I contacted Roger's Basement Water Proofing. I was able to schedule an appointment in a couple of days (based on my availability). Paul gave me about a 3hr time frame for a morning appointment and said he would call ahead to let me know closer to when he was coming. True to his word, he called to let me know more exactly when he was coming. He showed up very close to the estimated time and was friendly and professional. After looking at the problem area, he initially thought it might be a leakage problem with the basement, possibly relating to the gutters, but wasn't totally convinced. He asked me to go turn on the various water devices/flush the toilet in the bathroom above - sure enough, it was a plumbing problem all along and not a basement leakage problem (now I need to find a plumber on Angie's list!). While I did not use his services or get any estimate, I definitely appreciated the honesty and insight that Paul provided and his forthrightness to tell me I didn't need his services.

Everyhting went fabulous. Paul came out, gave me an estimate and scheduled the work within less than a week. His crew showed up when they said they would. He came over to make sure everything got started correctly. They cleaned up, answered questions, made suggestions on finishing other things. They were spottless and my basement is dryer than its been in ages.
