Rogers Basement Waterproofing

Everyting went fine. Five employees and Paul (owner) showed up at the designated time of 8AM. The five employees finished the job by 1PM. The job entailed a total of about 320 feet of plastic tubing which was connected to my 6 gutter downspouts and 1 sump pump discharge. Paul had indicated that they used heavy strength plastic tubing. The workers hand-dug the trenches (about 6 inches) to bury the tubing. They later put back the dug-up sod and cleaned-up the work site. My yard looked pretty good when they finished. The company was very good in calling back to set-up appointment times and answering questions. Paul and the employees were all very friendly.

Wonderful experience. On time. Cleaned up everything. Very fair price!

I explained to Mike that while we had no standing water in our basement we had of two areas of concern. The first being a wall that had one or two damp spots that we could not correct despite correcting landscaping and having french drains installed. The other was a conduit taking electrical wires to our detached garage that would on very rare occasions of heavy rain allow water to enter and run down the wall. He showed me that our first problem was related to drywall screws that had been drilled into the cement block to hold drywall in place and resulted in moisture entering in just those spots. He offered suggestions on how we could fix this. For our next problem he told me the product I needed to purchase and how to apply it around the conduit on the outside of our house in order to prevent water from coming in at the site. I am currently working on correcting both problems and I am happy that I spent the $50 for assistance from Rogers basement waterproofing. Although they didn't technically perform any work in my basement their (in this case Mike) expertise was exactly what I needed. As a testiment to their integrity they didn't sell me anything I didn't need. I would recommend them to anyone with questions regarding basement waterproofing.

Rogers had done very good work for us years ago, and Paul B. was extremely helpful. (Outside drain tile replacement) This time I needed basement walls cleaned sealed and painted. They completed the job on the agreed upon time and price. Two of the walls needed a second coat and Paul arranged for this at no additional cost. After drying the two walls seemed slightly different in color. Upon investigation it was found that the wrong material had been used in the recoat and Rogers had the two walls painted correctly. I cannot say enough for the follow up and professionalism. Paul B. and the workmen are to be commended.

So far, so good. We really liked the gentleman who came out, his name is Paul. We had gotten 3 other estimates before theirs and we went with him because we trusted them. He was very friendly. We felt like he was being totally honest with us with what needed to be done; he didn?t try to oversell us. He is animal friendly which is great because we rescue dogs. The first time he came out, one of our dogs was really sick and he said that it reminded of him of dog he had. By the time he came out the second time, our dog had passed away. When he came again, he brought a bag of dog bones; he seemed like he really cared and we were really impressed with him. There were about 7-8 guys here to do the job. They were a lot quicker than we expected them to be. He told us to call him right away if we had any questions or problems. All the guys were very professional and they cleaned up very nicely. We didn?t have a mess to take care of. We are very happy with them so far. What also impressed us was that they own their own company; they hire their own people and they don?t subcontract out.

What a great experience! We discovered fairly severe cracking and bowing in our block foundation walls after tearing out a finished basement. I figured it was going to be a large expense so I did my due diligence in picking a company to reinforce/brace the walls. I had a total of 9 companies out to provide their suggestions for the fix and quote the project. Many of them tried to sell me on a myriad of additional services that did not seem to be needed and their overall pricing was very high! Paul from Rogers came out, diagnosed the problem and provided me a quote on the spot. He did not try to up-sell at all and his price was significantly lower than most of the other companies. He was willing to work with me on the price and I ended getting a great deal! The day the work was done, they were on time, clean, incredibly nice, and very helpful and willing to explain processes and answer any and all questions I had. They completed the work in 1 day as quoted and when they left, the basement was literally cleaner than it had been before they started. Overall a fantastic experience with Rogers!

This guy really new what he was doing. They did it in 2 days. They blocked up the steps to upstairs so no dust got upstairs. They did an excellent job preserving some cabinets downstairs. I have had no problems at all. My basement is tight and dry now. They did it in very short order and they were very efficient. They showed me photographs of every step of the way so I knew exactly what was going to happen. It was a very good experience. His work was excellent and I highly recommend him. It was not cheap.

Large crew (5-7 workers) showed up on time - work was completed in about 4 hours. Extremely focused and pleasant crew .. Did exactly the work that was agreed. We've had several hard rains since with absolutely no trace of water leakage. I highly recommend their services.

They responded quickly and were able to come out to my house within a few days. He recommended that I just seal the interior walls and suggested that I could do it myself for much less money than he would charge. The honesty was refreshing.

Roger's Basement came out to give me an estimate and ended up telling me I didn't need a new waterproofing system. It was just my sump pump that wasn't working. I really appreciated the honesty and would recommend them in the future.

Rogers was responsive, estimate was easy to schedule and technician was prompt and thorough. Did not end up having any problems so no work was performed but our experience with the consultation visit was very positive.

This was a terrific transaction from start to finish. Scheduling a time for Paul to come out was easy. Then, I had a problem with the original date. Rescheduling was just as easy. He was on the dot for the appointment. Paul checked the basement for leaks, inspected an area of the foundation that I was concerned about, and checked the grading outside around the foundation. He was thorough and gave me great advice. He found no leaks in the basement and the foundation area was fine. So, he didn't try to sell me something I really didn't need. He saw an area on the side of the house where the slope away should be increased and suggested how much of what kind of dirt I would need to do the job. Great guy; great service.

Though we have never had water in the basement, it is very damp and musty, with signs of peeling paint and corroding metal, so I was concerned that we should do something to prevent deterioration to the foundation. The representative arrived on time and spent about 20 minutes. He reassured me that the problems were mainly cosmetic, and he suggested several things. Chief among them was to buy a dehumidifier, which was pretty much what I thought he would say. The house is 150 years old, and the basement is low-ceilinged, and partly with a dirt floor. We never intend to use it for living space, but I was reassured that it was basically intact. I am glad I didn't pay $200 to find that out, but I thought the $49 was a good price for what I got.

We used an Angie's list Big Deal to have our basement inspected as we had noticed a leak in one corner and some cracks in the walls, really glad we did as we had some potentially serious issues developing! The inspection was easy to schedule and very timely, we needed to have metal beams installed to prop up the walls and a trench dug around the walls to waterproof with subsequent cement pouring. As winter was fast approaching we moved forward with the work and were able to schedule for the following week. The first day the team arrived and everyone introduced themselves and set to the task at hand. They removed some old workbenches and shelving left by the previous owner and installed the beams, dug trenches and waterproofed/poured concrete. In one area there had been an extractor fan where a window had previously been which they removed and replaced with a very nice glass block window. Once all the work was done they cleaned everything up and painted the walls. Great job done in a short period of time. I couldn't believe how clean the place was both during and after the work. We had some very heavy rain the following week and did have a small leak were a water pipe entered the basement. They came back and sealed this area for no extra charge. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing these types of services, thank you all for the work you did.

Crew came on January 3 and strated construction with basement wall reinforcing beams. The work was completed on Jan.4 as scheduled. The work was done neatly and the crew did the clean-up well and left no debris.

After reviewing Angie's list and BBB I selected this company to assess whether the efflorescence deposits on a basement wall indicate a serious water leakage problem. Paul called ahead as promised to let me know when he was on his way to my home. He quickly assessed the problem and reported that I did not have a serious water problem. There is water seepage but it is quite small and he recommended I not spend a lot of money trying to correct the problem. He suggested some actions I could take such as changing the grade of the soil so water is encouraged to flow away from the foundation and making sure the gutters are not overflowing. He also suggested I could improve the look of the wall by having it scraped, treated with vinegar or bleach, and painted with waterproof paint.I appreciated the amount of time Paul spent responding to my questions and offering suggestions. I would not hesitate to contact this company if I have another water problem in my basement.

It went well; gave us recommendations that will remediate the issues that we were having in our basement.

I received a call the day after I requested the service and received the inspection one day after that. Impressive! Instead of trying to sell me a product I didn't need, I was told that fixing the gutters and resolving the grading issue outside the house should resolve the problem. Even though the house is 90 years old, the foundation is solid and there's no need for expensive waterproofing solutions. The honesty, professionalism, knowledge and punctuality were all greatly appreciated.

Paul from Roger's Basement Waterproofing returned my call on a Sunday, and squeezed my inspection in just 2 days later, during a heavy week for him due to downpours that week. I purchased the Big Deal inspection to determine the root cause of 3 basement leaks in a condo I was scheduled to close on in less than one week. Needless to say, I was under a time crunch and concerned that the condo I was in contract for had suddenly developed leaks in the unfinished basement I intended to finish. Paul was obviously incredibly experienced and knowledgeable, and was able to quickly determine the causes of the leaks and to prescribe remedies that were both relatively simple and highly likely to solve the problems. Rogers Basement Waterproofing Company proved to be the right business to resolve my flooded basement problem because, without a doubt, Paul Boeriu was the most professional, knowledgeable, and courteous gentleman to respond to my request for service in the 20 years I’ve lived in Columbus. Paul’s thorough inspection of the basement and the existing sump pump revealed that I needed a new sump pump. At that point a friend witnessing the exchange agreed with me that Paul was honest and and trustworthy, so I asked that he complete the task. A new pump was effectively and efficiently installed by another Rogers’s employee, Bill. He also patiently answered all of my questions and carefully explained the benefits of my new sump pump. After installing the new equipment, Bill removed the defective materials and checked outside and inside to ensure the installation worked properly. I immediately saw the value of his work as water gushed onto the street and the water level receded around the new pump. Bill provided me with a receipt and a written warranty for the new sump pump before leaving a very relieved customer who thought their holiday season was ruined. The installation went very well and I am quite pleased with my decision to work with this company. I plan to ask Rogers Basement Waterproofing Company to complete additional jobs and highly recommend their services to others.

Since there was nothing to do for the company, the owner personally called and sent me a check for $50. Very top notch!!!

I called Rogers Basement Waterproofing and Paul came out to evaluate, give suggestions on solutions and give me an estimate to correct some water issues around my foundation. Paul response was prompt, direct, clear and honest as to what options he thought would solve the issues. Paul was able to get me a the schedule within a couple days of giving me an estimate. The crew of 7or 8 guys arrived on time as scheduled. They completed the job in about 3 hours. They were careful around the shrubs and plants around my house as to not damage them; and replanted the ones that were in the way of the drainline replaced. I could hardly tell where they had dug up the yard. They replaced the sod so well that it did not disturbed at all. The crew was respectful to me and my property. They cleaned up the area affected, hauled away debris and hosed off the dirt from sidewalks and driveway. I would recommend this company to others.

We received several quotes from local contractors, many of whom we felt were pushing hard to oversell us on what we needed and ultimately we selected Rogers to do the job. From start to finish they were honest and professional. I have worked with many contractors in my profession and I was impressed by the integrity and workmanship of the team which seems rare these days. It has now been a year since the work was complete and our basement is dry and structurally sound. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone and would use them again in the future.

Meeting with Paul, the owner and contractor was pure pleasure. He was understanding to our issues and very informative and reassuring. He was very confident in his company's capabilities, yet humble, honest, sincere and sensitive to our concerns and our questions. When Paul introduced each member of the crew, I knew we had made the right decision to contract with Rogers Basement Waterproofing. Each member of the crew had smiles on their face and seemed very courteous, and they were ready and eager to begin the very strenuous upcoming job at hand. I could feel the sense of pride that they took in their work and I likened it to a seasoned championship basketball team each working to achieve a successful result. Indeed, they did work as a team and at the finish, their work was extremely well done. They were all very neat in their jobs and thorough to the Nth degree. When they were finished with the job, Jason and Craig showed us around and gave us very excellent tips regarding home water control. They reassured us that Rogers Basement Waterproofing stands behind their product and that should there be an unlikely problem, that Bill (another crew member) would be out immediately. They reaffirmed my belief that they really enjoyed working for Rogers Basement Waterproofing, particularly working with Paul as their "boss". Definitely a good team! I really felt that we received the A+ service. VERY IMPRESSIVE.
