Paul and his crew of 7 awesome men came to my home and dug out all the concrete one day and came back the next day in 10 inches of snow and filled it in. The work done was 100 percent , I am very pleased with Rogers waterproofing

Timeline of Events: Sunday afternoon: I realized that the melting snow and rain resulted in water rushing in a basement window well. I assumed that the exterior drainage system had been compromised. As a temporary solution I dug a 15 foot trench so the water would run away from the house. Sunday evening: I searched Angie's List for a professional solution to this problem. I emailed Rogers Basement Waterproofing Company. Monday morning: Paul Boeriu called in response to my email and made arrangements to assess the situation. Monday afternoon: Paul inspected my property and offered his expert advice for a permanent solution. Tuesday morning: Paul and 4 employees arrived to begin the project. By 7:50 am the digging and installation of drain pipe had begun. The project was completed by 10:15am. At the conclusion of the project Jason Wheeler walked me through the project and explained everything that had been done. The crew worked efficiently, quietly. The trench that was dug the entire length of my front yard is hardly noticeable. They even filled in the temporary trench that I had dug. The employees of Rogers Basement Waterproofing Company were prompt, respectful, courteous and personable. I would highly recommend them to my friends and family.

A crew of 6 (I think) dug up the old discharge lines neatly, by hand and shovel, and replaced them with thicker, wider PVC pipe all the way to the street. They also poured new concrete in a section of the sidewalk that had badly cracked from the old pipe. The sod that was dug up was all replaced neatly, so that they yard itself looked as though it was hardly touched. All the work was completed in less than a workday. Very nice work, and there was no bubbling during the next hard rain.

Paul was punctual, personable and polite. What's more important--he was honest! He could have likely sold me thousands of dollars worth of work if he wanted to, but he was earnest enough to tell me that he felt my issue was just a moisture issue that could be controlled with landscaping, a dehumidifier and eventually some drylock before finishing. We shook hands and parted as friends with no charge. Paul may not have made a sale that day--but I will recommend him highly to anyone who asks, and I'll call him to help prep the basement for finishing when the time comes.

The owner from the company came out and looked at it and he let me know it was just a chemical reaction in the concrete. He informed me of how to know if I was having a water leak. He came on time, was very knowledgeable and I was really impressed with his honesty.

The owner showed up on time and was very pleasant. He inspected the two locations where we had moisture in the basement and determined the probable cause and gave clear and concise directions on what next steps I should take before determining that his company's services were necessary. I can't say enough about how pleased I was with the integrity, punctuality and overall experience was with this company and its owner. Certainly, based on my experience to date I would recommend Roger's Basement to anyone who has a moisture problem in their basement.

Rogers basement re-trenched a drain line out to the street. They cut through the sidewalk since the previous line was completely collapsed. The sidewalk was repaired as new. This was done in the beginning onslaught of a winter storm. They were on time, very professional, and extremely nice throughout the entire process. The original estimate included one line out to the street, however the other side of the house also had a collapsed drain line (not out to the street though). They adjusted their schedule and called in more trucks and men and ended up finishing the whole project many hours shorter than their estimate. What's amazing, is that they did the work by hand. They did not use any trenching devices other than shovels. The only power tool was a saw for the sidewalk. I won't even think about calling someone else if I ever require this type of service again. I wouldn't hesitate to contact Rogers Basement for any of the services they offer.

First class operation. Paul and team are down to earth, professional, hard working people. They were friendly, efficient, courteous, knowledgable, and fast. They answered all my questions, walked me through all the steps of what was being done. I would highly recommend them.

I used to have bad flooding issues. I had them out and they completely redid the basement. Over the years I have had them back out for other things and they have always been great. They treat you like you are family and they advise you in any issues that you may run into with your basement. They bend over backwards to come out as soon as they can for you. Previously I had 3 other waterproofing companies come out that couldn't solve the problem. They put in 3 different systems and it wouldn't solve the problems.

Paul returned my calls promptly and worked with me on scheduling an onsite visit. After reviewing the situation he suggested that nothing needed to be done before beginning my remodel. I was happy to see a contractor who's honesty and reputation were more important than potential profits. As a serial DYI'er who has worked with many contractors over the years, this was a truly refreshing experience.

Paul arrived for my estimate. He was very friendly and told me the crack in my foundation was nothing to worry about. Then he told me how to seal the crack on my own, saving me money! No repair work needed.

All questions answered over phone. Turns out I needed another service! They were very helpful in helping me figure out what was really needed.

From the first time that Paul came to my house to give me an estimate until the date the job was completed, I could not have asked for a more professional experience. The estimate was reasonable, and about $2200 less than the Basement Guys. I was told exactly what needed to be done and when they could start the job. They arrived on time, the whole crew! They introduced themselves to me - Jason was in charge of the crew. They could not have been more polite or professional. They had men working on the basement and outside at the same time. They dug a trench from the house to the street for the drain pipe and you couldn't even tell that the yard had been dug up when they finished! They did an amazing job from start to finish and they cleaned up everything before they left. The job was so well done that I would recommend them to anyone who wants reliable, professional work done. There is the reason that they have been in business for over 30 years. They have earned a well-deserved great reputation as evidenced by the high ratings on Angie's List.

They did a really great job in terms of the actual waterproofing. There was a miscommunication between myself and the owner about painting the walls. Finally, after going back, they painted the basement walls. We had received a different estimate from a different company that was $5,000 more.

It's an Angie's List deal. Paul came over to check my basement and told me it was fine. He also checked around the outside of the house, and told me I'd better improve the gutter to avoid future problem. He's very nice and professional.

I called him about what to be done about getting the water in the basement at the time it rains, but he was very nice and very honest. He said that I need to get the outside work done before the inside done. He pointed out things that needed to be done. Before he could dig up, my basement had much as done with it and destroyed what was already done. There was nothing I could about the awning because the man that put the awning up had no business to make it smaller than what the one was up there, so now I live with that. I don't think he was trying to sell anything. He estimated around $5000 because he thought a lot needed to be done. I am just now willing to destroy my basement with this thing. He was very professional and very pleasant. I wasn't afraid for him to come in my house and may be here by myself. I didn't get any other estimates. He was very good. He told me what time he could be here and that was within two days. He told me he was on his way and told me what time he would be here & he was here.

I have not experienced a company like this. After the work was completed, I asked Paul, the owner, if there was anything else he in involved in. Because I would hire this company again, in a second. Unfortunately, they only do basement waterproofing - which is one of the reasons they are so good at what they do. I honestly, have not encountered a company so professional, courteous, and hard working. You've probably read some of the reviews of them here. They measure up to the reputation they have. I called them for an estimate. Paul, the owner took all the time we needed to explain everything. He brought with him a thick book of clients and encouraged me to call them to check on his reputation. I did. They were all so positive about this company. The estimate Paul gave us was about half of what the basement doctor gave us. Some of this was because the basement doctor wanted us to do things we did not need to do and charged us for things most of the companies did not. We set up a date to do the work and they came and did the work in just two days. From the time they got there, they were professional and worked hard. They set plastic down and never affected our house in any way. They were on time. There workers were polite and engaged us. They asked on numerous occasion if there was anything they could do and expressed their desire to make us happy. They also talked about the company and how proud they are of it. There is a culture in this company many could learn about. They also cleaned up everything. It looked fantastic when they were done. Above and beyond. We had some plumbing issues under the basement floor that Paul and his team ran into. They explained what the issues were and the damage that was caused by it (a lot). They cleaned it up for me, jack hammered into my basement floor and relaid piping and reran several plumbing lines. THIS WORK WOULD HAVE COST ME THOUSANDS to have someone come in and repair. THEY DID IT FOR FREE. Paul explained that they run into problems sometimes and there would be no charge. What? That was an amazing gift to us. Because they have been in the business so long and are so focused, they can tackle problems that come up in houses. This generosity had a big impact on me. Paul said to me that what you do for others comes back to you. I even gave the foreman a tip though it was small compared the money they saved me. Rogers also ran drain lines from my house to the street. They dug up the yard in such a way that you could not even tell they had worked there after a couple days. I could say so much more. But I'm starting to sound like a commercial. They just had a big impact on me since it is so unlike what you experience with companies. I am proud to say I have a Roger's basement.

After Paul came to the home and looked around, and found out there is no water in the basement. He gave me another handy man's phone number to let me contact the correct person.

He was confident that was the problem and that we didn't need his services. It was very refreshing to have someone come out, at no charge, and help us figure out the problem. Very nice and trustworthy guy who won't try to sell you something you don't need. He suggested we contact a drain company to come out and replace those drain lines and it should fix the problem.

Went well, didn't try to sell me on something I didn't need.

Paul came out to give us his opinion on our basement and from our initial meeting we knew he was someone we could trust. They explained every step of the process and really put our minds at ease with their approach and detail orientation. He came down, and he knew the problem right away. He did what he needed to do, and gave us good cost. Also, they have good reviews. A friend of mine have used them, and were happy with them too!

I called Rogers Basement based upon the reviews. I was looking for someone to look at and reccomend a resolution to a wet corner of our basement. When I called, Paul was scheduled to be in the area the next day. The time he was going to be available came very close to overlapping another apointment I had. He called back later and made some adjustmentsso that he coulod come out at a time slightly earlier, and more suited to my schedule. He arrived promptly, did a quick assessment of the issues and some of the potential causes of my problem. He made a reccomendation for an initial step, which didn't involve his company. He took enough time to make sure all of my questions were answered, including explaining how he came to the suggestions he made. It appears that I will not need the services of a basement waterproofer, cut if that changes, I would very much look to Rogers Basement Waterproofing.

Paul was extremely responsive and customer oriented from the first contact. Rogers had the best price and actually did more extensive repair than the competitors. His crew was very professional and timely. They took care to minimize dirt and protected our property and belonging. The finished product looks great. Very happy with all phases of the project.
