They did a very good job of installing the I beams and waterproofing the walls. The crew was very careful not to do any damage in the house or around our property. They arrived when scheduled and all of the crew were friendly and took time to answer any questions about the job. They also did a great job of clean up after the work was completed. They really know what they are doing and we would highly recommend them to anyone. We would definitely use them again.

One of the best contractor experiences I've ever had. As a previous business owner, in a home service business, I am a little more critical than most when selecting a service provider. After meeting Paul the first time he came out to quote our service, I knew he ran the type of company I wanted to perform my work. I was provided an initial estimate for the waterproofing service in the early part of 2015. I took some time to demo the basement completely before having it waterproofed. I'm glad I did, because I noticed some cracking in my block walls and a slight bow. I called Paul again and he came back and provided a revised quote that included the steel I-beams. He explained the complete job in detail and I signed the contract on the spot. We picked 2 days in early January 2016. I received a reminder call the day before from their office and Paul arrived exactly on time with his entire crew. Once again, we walked through the job with his foreman and made sure we were all on the same page. Paul left and his men got to work. No joke, the hardest working nicest guys you could ask for. They projected being complete in 2 days and they were. Here is the kicker, in the course of doing their job, they accidently broke a piece of equipment in my basement. Within an hour, it was replaced with a brand new one. That's speaks volumes as to the integrity of this company. Neat and clean as well. I highly recommend. Nino

I had water seeping into two of my walls in the basement. Not a lot, and only during big/long rains. Paul came out to look and immediately diagnosed my problem as being an exterior problem allowing rainwater to enter, likely either a downspout or grading issue. He said that he would not try to sell me a waterproofing solution because it would not help my problem. We then went outside and he quickly identified the area where the grading was not appropriate, and simply recommended adding dirt to make the lawn slope away from the house. This came after one of the national brands tried hard to convince me that a full-blown waterproofing project was the only solution. I truly appreciate Paul?s honesty and it means a lot that he did not try to sell me an expensive solution that he did not believe was needed. This speaks volumes to the integrity of this company.

We could not be happier. It's a lot of money to spend but we've gone from a basement where water ran in the walls to one that is completely drain. Not a drop of water in the basement through the heavy fall rains. The workers were polite, knowledgable, and skillful. Amazingly they were in an out in two days. The basement has never been cleaner than the day they left. We really appreciated working with Paul on the bidding and planning process. He manages a great team of workers and is a pleasure to work with.

I bought a deal for $49 for a basement and foundation inspection. I had a problem with water leaking into two corners in my basement and wanted the inspection to make sure the problem was resolved by having new drain pipes installed and the grading fixed. They did discover that one wall was beginning to bow in and recommended installing I beams along that wall.

Paul was very responsive and called me back within a couple of hours of leaving him a message. Once Paul assessed the situation he was very detailed in what would be done and why. I wasn't home to witness the removal and installation of this but, as promised, and considering all the trenches that were dug, Paul and his crew certainly left the yard looking like almost nothing was disturbed.

It went absolutely perfect. They used machines that had vacuums at the end so dust did not go everywhere. The laid plastic on the floor and furniture so if there was dust they did not get it on anything. The actual job that was done was fantastic and was done great. The took a window out and replaced it with a glass block window out and it also looks great. They also did the drainage all the way down the lot for no charge. Every last detail they addressed, I would recommend this company to anybody. The crew were just really great guys and worked together like a well oiled machine.

Paul was out a couple of times in the spring or early summer to look at my basement and give me an estimate to install interior drain tile along approximately 60 feet of my basement walls where I had problems with water seepage. They would install the sump pit, pick up a couple of downspouts, and the sump discharge and route those to the street too. The price was a bit higher than I would have liked, but the company was reviewed very well and I know a few people who have used their services with great success. Unfortunately, they were scheduling many months out. A day or two before they were scheduled to do the work, Nicole from their office called to confirm the appointment. I let her know that I?d be expecting them. On the day of the install, Paul arrived early to go over everything and to look at the space that I had cleared out for their work. I was particular about a few details and we went over those together. Paul later explained everything to his crew. There is no lack of communication here and that's great. When the crew arrived they got right to work. Plastic was put up and over the white carpet between the door and their work areas. The underground drain was installed outside, a trench was cut around the perimeter of the basement wall, the sump pit was dug, the basin and pump installed, new electric run for the pump and they cleaned everything up before they left. On the second day, they installed the drain tile, received a passing inspection from the City, and covered everything with gravel and concrete. They were done by noon. Between the two days they had 6 ? 8 guys working and they made quick work of everything. I?m really pleased with their attention to detail. It?s not often that folks take pride in their work like this crew does?especially Chris. I watched and asked questions and they really wanted to make sure that I was happy with everything. I plan to let all of my friends know about their work and I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again. Thanks!

Paul came right on time and looked at the entire basement. He told me that it was a cosmetic problem even though it looked serious. Instead of trying to sell me unnecessary services, he advised me to do a couple of things to prevent further occurrences. These steps were easy and will not cost a lot. Best of all, he gave his professional advice freely and did not mind spending time to explain things to me. I will definitely call him if I have any basement moisture issues again. I will definitely recommend him to my friends.

Outstanding! Paul (owner) was the estimator, and he was here before his crew, in order to ensure they knew exactly what we wanted done, and how. The guys were hardworking, professional, and thorough. Paul is one of the most honest and caring contractors I have worked with. He has a heart of gold. His team was very professional, efficient and respectful. The work went surprisingly fast, and everyone did their best to keep us comfortable while they worked. The team went the extra mile to ensure that everything was cleaned up when they left, and went over the operation of the new sump pump, and all the features that were installed. Paul is the "real deal" - knowledgeable, friendly. honest, and not trying to sell you things you don't need ( we another basement company come in and try to do just that). While his company does not do the kind of work what was indicated ( mold remediation and drainspout rerouting), he recommended companies that do that sort of thing. If you have a leaky basement and are looking for a non-corporate, truly local basement business with honest folks that know what they are doing...I'd suggest Rogers.

Came promptly as scheduled, was very frank and honest that the problem was outside the house. Very much appreciated both his honesty and helpfulness in suggesting a solution. Would definitely recommend , as he was fair ,very honest, and most helpful.

Paul and his crew are all fabulous. Everyone working on our basement for those 2 days were very professional and courteous. They worked quickly and efficiently and left our basement a lot drier and cleaner. They were really careful while installing the drain pipes outside the house, even transplanting some irises. I would highly recommend them.

Spoke with Paul on the phone who reassured me it was not an overall basement issue, but a sump pump issue. Suggested several solutions and another contractor who could perform the job. Appreciated his honesty and time! Will definitely consider using them if our basement issues are not resolved with the backup sump pump system he suggested.

He was upfront and honest with his assessment. We had a corner of our house that had a water problem, and took me outside to identify the source. He identified a spot were water was creeping in under our patio. Instead of "selling" me his service to waterproof or support walls, he gave me advice. He explained how he runs his company, and I would feel extremely confident in his services. Anyone needing basement repair should call this company. Do not fall for sales tactics used by other companies.

They were very profession. Everything they said they would do, they did it and it was done well. They called to make sure I was happy with it. It was a really pleasurable experience.

The installation and quality of work done on the basement was amazing. As I said, the previous owners had used Rogers and the work they did on the house before and for us as owners was great. They showed up on time, had all the equipment they could possibly need. They explained the process and were very courteous. They also made sure to clean up the basement when finished. Included was a work permit submission and an inspection by the city, which I imagine a lot of people bypass. The estimation and pricing portion of the work was very disappointing to me. When evaluating what the previous owners had done for reinforcement to the basement walls we had to also determine which work Rogers had completed so as to determine what was covered by the Rogers warranty. We had them come out and look at the work. Paul verified what work was done by his company very quickly. then tried to get out fast. We asked him if he could give us an idea of what it would cost to "do it right" and he just threw out some numbers. We asked if he could put it in writing and he said "sure you can just write it on the back of my card" and left. I called Rogers a week later to verify this number and talked to Paul and he confirmed that was a correct estimate ($500/beam). That comes to $4000 which was higher still than other estimates. I told him the other companies price and he said if I went with them he would void the warranty on previous work. So we were kind of stuck. He said he is "middle of the road" on price which was $500 a bean. He said cost can be anywhere from $200 - 800/beam. We asked him to come give a official estimate. He came out and after assessing he wrote down $5000 on the invoice and asked for up front payment. I didn't question it because I didn't do the math. Afterwords I called and asked about the discrepancy between the original estimate ($500/beam) and the total $5000 ($625) and he said the price "is what it is" and became very combative. He was very angry. I tried to talk to him about it but he would not discuss it. To me the estimating portion lacked integrity. In addition, I feel like when I tried to calmly address the discrepancy there wasn't a good answer. It felt a little like bullying since going with anyone else would have voided the warranty, but that is speculation since I don't know the intent.

From the initial appointment to the final install, Rogers Basement Waterproofing was top notch. Paul came and inspected the basement and was very informative with what needed to be done. On the scheduled day the "crew" showed up, on time, and very professional. You can tell a lot about a company by the way they treat their equipment. Their work trucks were spotless, no dirt, they looked brand new. Each person knew exactly what their job was for the day. Paul came and reviewed the job with us, and the guys began their work. They covered the stairs to the basement, put plastic over items in the basement, even covered open duct work. They began cutting the concrete in the basement floor and surprise - no dust upstairs!!!! By noon they were finished with the first part of the job. Second day, they showed up at 8:00 a.m. and by noon, they were finished. They cleaned a few of the walls that showed signs of mildew and sealed them. They even mopped the basement floor and offered to come back and put all the stuff in the basement back (which we told them was not necessary). Did I mention that NO DUST left the basement!!!!!! It pays to have your own crew (no subcontractors) each man on that crew knew exactly what they were suppose to do and they were well synchronized. And the men love working for this company. They had high praises for the owners. I would highly recommend Rogers Basement Waterproofing Co. for all your basement woes.

This is not the first time Paul has done work for me. About 15-20 years ago, he placed beams for me in a different area than this.....way before Angie's list. All those years ago...and I never forgot Paul and his crew. He is a no nonsense guy who will definitely give you an honest answer for your specific needs. He means what he says and does what he says.... and promises to do. Hopefully, I won't need his services again, but definitely would use for the third time. It is rare to find someone who tells it like it is and is trustworthy. You can put your trust into Paul and his crew. His crew is friendly, professional and know their jobs very well....they perform to perfection like a well oiled machine. Before starting , they protected my carpeting and hung plastic to protect adjoining areas. They will answer any questions, suggestions and will go the extra mile for you. They do not leave you with any messes. Clean-up is perfection....looks like a cleaning crew came as well. My basement looks great and I am VERY happy with the results. Paul came to our house to access our issue and provided us with a quote. He was very professional and someone that did not push his business - it was for us to decide. His work is with lifetime guarantee and he's been doing this business for 40 years with no problems. Paul's team were all great and have worked for Paul for many years so are all very experienced. They all worked well together, quickly getting to their work in different areas and the work was done in two days. I am completely happy and would recommend Paul to anyone that needs work in their basement.

Paul was recommended to us by a neighbor and we asked him to provide one of our estimates to fix a problem with water in our basement. In Paul's opinion, our problem stemmed from an issue on the exterior of our house and costly repairs were not necessary inside. He examined the root of our issue inside and out and advised us to fix the exterior problem first. Without knowing that we had received a quote from another company, Paul said that other companies were going to want to jackhammer the floors in our basement and put drains around the entire perimeter, even though we only have the water problem in one area. He was exactly right. The previous company told us that they would patch the outside problem, but, the complete drain system would need to be installed. Paul was concise and to the point, gave advice on how to fix our problem, and did not try to sell us solutions that we did not need. I very much appreciate his candor and professionalism. If we have any future basement needs Paul will certainly be phone call number one.
