RITE TEMPERATURE

I’m very frustrated and sad to have to leave a review like this, but I feel as though our outreach is being ignored. I’ve been calling for two weeks now and not one of my calls has been returned. I am doing this in the hopes that the company steps up, reaches out to me and helps to resolve this ongoing situation. I hope they take responsibility for the services they promised to provide and the gaps in communication we’ve dealt with. I am frustrated because this has been our primary HVAC company for years. They’re a lovely family business and I trust that they do the job well and with a focus on quality. I’ve used many contractors and this is one I trust. I just wish things were more organized. Rebecca, Bob and Brent are all wonderful to work with. But this time, for whatever reason, things have not gone smoothly at all. They were hired to swap out a condenser for a min-split. I had the condenser and new lines. They started the job. While we hit a few snags, which happens, we were happy to be flexible. I even agreed to a higher price to deal with the issues. But there’s been a major breakdown for some reason. I don’t know why. Now the project has been sitting for two weeks with nothing happening and no communication. They even mentioned maybe they could give me a recommendation of someone to finish the job. That hasn’t even come. I just want go be on a pathway to having this finished. Please call me back!

Called 3 x in 7 days. Never received a call back. Used this company for years when Lee owned it. Apparently his kids dont share his work ethic. Makes me sad. Ended up going with another company to replace and install the central air..

Always very well. No complaints. Wish more companies were as reliable.

I would give them an A. We haven't had a minute of trouble with the furnace. They put it in within a day. They were here right when they said they would be. They are well worth the price and their prices are more than fair. The workers are courteous, punctual, no problems. There were two workers, plus the owner who came to check on them.

They're great. They're very straightforward and only fix what needs to be fixed. They come out very quickly and are friendly. They also only charged $39 for as a diagnosis/service fee, which is really inexpensive compared to other business.

I called up Rite Temperature Heating and Air Conditioning when I was having problems with my older furnace. They changed the heat pump and added new duct work. They had to replace the venting out from the house and it now comes out from the side of the house, because of new codes. The cleanup wasn't as great as I would have liked; they left messes that weren't cleaned up until they finally left.

PROMPT, FLEXIBLE, FIXED A PROBLEM THAT WAS IGNORED DURING SEMI-ANNUAL MAINTENANCE (BY ANOTHER COMPANY), KNOWLEDGEABLE, VERY REASONABLE COST.

THEY ARRIVED AT THE SCHEDULED TIME AND PERFORMED THEIR JOB IN AN EXCELLENT MANNER. THEY REMOVED THE OLD FURNACE AND AC AND CLEANED UP VERY GOOD.

I'VE HAD THIS FURNACE FOR THREE YEARS IN AUGUST OF 2004. I HAD NOT HAD THE CHANCE TO HAVE YEARLY SERVICE DONE ON IT. IT WAS MAKING A NOISE, SO I CALLED THEM. THEY CAME OUT THE NEXT DAY AND QUICKLY CLEANED IT OUT. IT IS A 96% EFFICIENCY FURNACE AND SHOULD HAVE YEARLY CHECKS. PRICE WAS VERY FAIR.

IT WAS A VERY SIMPLE FIX, THEY FIXED IT AND DIDN'T CHARGE ANYTHING.

THE SERVICE TECHNICIAN CAME OUT TWICE AND WAS NOT ABLE TO FIX THE PROBLEM. HE DID NOT APPEAR TO HAVE THE EXPERTISE NECESSARY TO ASSESS OR FIX THE PROBLEM. AFTER THE FIRST VISIT, HE ASKED THAT I CALL HIM DIRECTLY, INSTEAD OF THE MAIN OFFICE, IF THE PROBLEM WAS NOT FIXED. HE ALSO ASKED ME TO PAY HALF OF THE COST OF THE SERVICE TO THE COMPANY AND WRITE A SEPARATE CHECK MADE OUT TO HIM FOR THE OTHER HALF OF THE COST. I WILL NOT USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN. ANOTHER COMPANY HAS BEEN CALLED TO REPAIR THE PROBLEM.

VERY CLEAN and NEAT; TRIED VERY HARD NOT TO DAMAGE ANYTHING IN MY HOUSE; VERY THOROUGH; THEY WERE VERY QUIET WHILE WORKING--NO FOUL LANGUAGE OR LOUD TALKING. THEY WERE JUST VERY CONSCIENTIOUS WORKERS.
