I am pleased with the experience and the results. Ron Richardson was good to work. He stopped over several times before we signed a contract, working through the details of what we wanted done. He assured me that I would be happy with the work, and I was cautiously skeptical. It is hard to find a good contractor who will take the time to make sure that the job is done well. But in the end, he was right. Rod, the main siding installer, was great. He took the time to make sure that everything was done well. I could talk to him at any time, and I added a couple wrinkles to the project (a new hose bibb and a couple new exterior electrical boxes) without any hassle. He was also punctual and professional. For example, he would let me wife know if he was not going to be to our house by 9am the next day. I didn't interact much with the guys who installed the windows and gutters. They were here and gone in a day. But, their work was good. My biggest complaint would be that the project took a while to get started. When I signed the contract, Ron stated that the job would get started in early October. The work didn't start until mid-November. At the time, I was a bit anxious, but now the delay is not that big of a deal. It was worth the wait. After the installation was complete, Ron stopped back out to ensure that I was happy with everything. Overall, I was very satisfied with Richardson Exteriors and would recommend working with them.

Ron Richardson was very helpful and responsive. He gave us all the options in available shingle and advised us on the best value as well. The work was very well done, and since they started on Friday but could not get it completed that day, they even came in on Saturday to complete the job. They left the area very clean as well. I would recommend them to anyone looking for new roofing.

It went great! Rod the siding guy is a pro in all ways, Kirk is a pleasure to deal with and always willing to work with you. Ron the owner took the job on telling us we'd be happy with the results and we were! I'd recommend to anyone and will use again if the need arises!

Overall, we were satisfied with the work. The work was done in a timely manner, on schedule, and on budget. We had several special requests which they handled very well and without complaint which impressed me. I expect we are much more detail oriented than your average customer and they dealt with our questions and issues gracefully. There were a couple of things we wished were addressed as they were encountered (drip edge that was not installed properly, some bare decking in a valley, and a couple of aesthetic issues). Instead, we had to bring it up ourselves. Ron and Kurt realized work had to be redone correctly, and it was. Ron was very understanding and apologetic and worked hard to correct the situation. Personally I would have liked them to call as soon as there was an issue and give us a few options rather than push forward to get the job done quickly.

Ron came right out and helped to assess the situation. Although he was pretty heavily booked into the future, he said, "This needs to be done soon. I can work you in." His carpenter did an excellent job replacing all of the siding adjoining the gables that were in need. The wood was painted on all surfaces prior to installation to ensure that it gets maximum life. The siding work looks excellent. As the carpenter was finishing, Ron's roofers were starting. From start to finish, we were less than a week and scheduled as quickly as we could have hoped. Even though the new siding was painted to "match" the old, the new wood vs the old is noticeable in a few places. Ron provided us with a painter who is going to paint the side that is most visible which should eliminate the immediate need for a total paint job. The new roof looks excellent. The siding is the best that it has looked in years. Ron was extremely pleasant and easy to work with and his team did exactly what we expected. If you need a new roof or other services that Richardson Exterior's provides, we cannot recommend them enough.

I would give this company a AAA rating. I'm so glad I found them. Their prices are fair & their workmanship top notch. They really satisfy even the biggest of perfectionists. Everyone, I mean everyone from the owner, sales and every worker were so nice & polite and very accomdating. Even the tiniest details were dealt promptly. They even worked with us on things I wanted done that aren't the usual for the job. My house looks awesome and it was done right, with the right materials and the right way, which is so refreshing from other experiences. You cannot go wrong with this company. I am one very satisfied customer. I hope to get some pictures up soon.

Mr Richardson was a pleasure to work with - from the initial discussion about the work needing to be done, to getting a prompt and competitive quote, to getting association approval, to scheduling the work and finally getting the work done and invoiced. Mr Richardson was always available on his cell phone for questions or clarification. We would recommend him to others.

They did a great job! Our windowsills are repaired, our porch looks like new and the gutter looks great! Their repairmen were quick and competent and cleaned up! We are planning to use this company again!

There were bumps along the way, but overall I recommend this contractor. When we signed the contract they identified a 2 week window when they thought the work would happen. It started a week later than the end of that window. But after work started it proceeded well with polite, courteous, hardworking men staffing the project. At one point, they uncovered some rot in the existing house framing. I had no choice but to authorize the repair work right away as my house was literally open to the outside. They did not gouge me. That was confirmation that Richardson Exteriors is a trust worthy contractor. He was also cooperative on a couple minor call-backs. Overall, my expectations were exceeded.

This is our second positive experience with Richardson Exteriors. We used them first to replace wood siding on the back of our 1920s-era house. We discovered later that we also needed to replace our front porch wood columns which were rotted through and some unsightly and damaged wood trim around the exterior of the porch. Ron's crew, headed by Rodney, did the work in a cool 2.5 days, and left the exterior much improved. We have received endless compliments from our neighbors and guests on the quality of the work.

They did everything very quickly (3 days). They didn't give me any warning of when they were starting (I got an 11 AM call saying they had already started). They worked into the late evening the last day to get it done. They didn't replace/aluminum-wrap the fascia on the back of the house (as quoted), but when I called, they agreed it was quoted and had it done the next morning. Ron is very friendly and easy to work with.

Work was done as scheduled. Results are good and clean up was done well.

The salesman/owner was polite, very personable, and explained the available options. I noted that I intended to pick a door at the lower end of the spectrum (which would still be big upgrade from our existing door) and he did not attempt to pressure me into a more expensive model, and advised that the lower models were still of a high quality. The installer arrived exactly as scheduled, and was polite and professional throughout the installation. Our existing opening was slightly askew (like most homes with age), and the installer addressed the resulting issues and continued to adjust the placement and shimming of the door panels until the best the best position was obtained, and even cleaned up afterwards. The door is heavy, solid, but glides easily (a single finger push is sufficient), and appears to be well made, even though it was at the low end of the available spectrum. I was happy with the entire experience, and highly recommend them.

Working with Richardson Exteriors has been an excellent experience. We were connected with Ron and his team through a neighbor, who had chosen Ron to do a number of exterior improvements on their home; it looked fantastic, and so we reached out to Richardson Exteriors as well. We met with Ron personally, who walked us through processes related to working with our insurance provider in light of some recent storm damage. His knowledge of how to navigate a somewhat-confusing insurance claim system was reassuring and very appreciated. It was a comfort, too, knowing that we were working with a local company who was as invested in the community and its well-being as we were; we even knew many of the same people, and our children had attended the same elementary school. Communication with Ron and his team was easy and more than sufficient for us to feel as if we had a handle on the timeline and processes of the work being done. We had our aluminum siding removed, the house wrapped, and replaced with a beautiful gray vinyl siding. I appreciated the speed of the work itself, the respect of his team, the details that help make our house seem "put together" (such as matching vinyl blocking under our exterior lights, which were removed and replaced without any harm). Prior to the siding work, his team painted our trim and guttering, which we elected to keep, a white that pops against the gray, and they did so without any messes, etc. It looks great, and the painting team was polite and also a member of our community. Richardson Exteriors also removed and replaced our aging storm and exterior doors with really, really nice doors built locally and custom-painted for us. They're perfect, and have added some great functionality to our place (e.g., we purchased a storm door with a high-strength steel screen that our dogs can't destroy when we don't get to the back door fast enough; in fact, our pups no longer scratch to get in at all, having tried a couple of times--they seem to dislike the feeling of the screen. This is a win.) Ron's suggestions about materials, benefits of them, etc., was helpful, and his demeanor was collaborative and professional. Access to Ron was easy. We'd recommend Richardson Exteriors to anyone, and will look to them if we have future work to do. It's nice to know that, as a local company, they'll be around to ensure their warranties, etc., are good, and that we can reach out if we need to for any reason. Great experience all around. Not only is our house nice to come home to, it feels like it's good for the neighborhood, too, and have received some nice compliments. We're really pleased.

Ron stepped in and saved us after another contractor bailed on us. He was prompt, helpful, and reasonably priced. His quote was detailed and provided us options. His quoted timeline was accurate, and he was extremely responsive. Once the windows were ready, the installation was completed in one day, and the work looks beautiful. We would happily use his services again!

The entire project went very well. Ron responded to my call promptly. He was professional, knowledgeable and helpful in providing information that helped me make decisions. I am a relatively new home owner with a 56 year old home. The siding team was prompt, professional and expert in their craft. They measured much of the siding and were precise and efficient. Rod was helpful, answered my questions, and worked independently and needed little help from me. Rod was friendly, yet very professional in his approach to his work. My experience with Richardson Exteriors was a great experience from start to finish. I am a relatively new home owner of a 60 year old home. Ron, the owner, gave very useful information as he helped to address all that needed done. He is knowledgeable, professional, friendly and very helpful. I depend on expertise of those working on my home to give me honest helpful information. Ron is definitely one of those people. Rod was an expert in siding the garage. I was impressed with the careful attention that he and his team gave to measuring the wood and aluminum trim. he also answered any questions that I had. They were efficient and cleaned up all of the old material and debris from the installation. The gutter team was equally experienced and efficient. A number of friends have commented on how good the garage looks. Thank you for a good experience. I would definitely contact this company for future work.

The repairs went very well. Rod was knowledgeable about roof repair and found the problem quickly and repaired it. He was professional, reliable, and the repair has been successful so far. We have had some heavy rains and there is no leaking noted. Would contact Richardson Exteriors again without hesitation.

Ron and his crew provided fine workmanship and timely responses, for a very fair price. The work crew arrived early and worked hard. On one part of the job, they worked so late that they weren't able to clean up that evening, but Ron made it right, and the clean-up was taken care of the very next day. The only unexpected cost was the replacement of some rotten lumber in part of the roof. We are thankful that they replaced it, and didn't just cover it with new shingles. Ron did note that he should have included that note in the job estimate, as we suspected that there had been a leak in that part of the roof. So, we found Ron very easy to discuss the job with before, during and after the work being done.

Highly recommend! The work done by Ron Richardson's team of skilled craftsmen was the definition of high quality work at a reasonable price. We secured several quotes for this job before hiring Richardson Exteriors. Richardson Exteriors was the only company that quoted us same day, and gave us a reasonable expectation in advance for contingencies (such as finding no insulation under the old wood siding). Communication from the quote to the job's conclusion was fantastic, and the craftsmanship excellent. We're hiring Richardson's again for a front porch project.

Ron showed up on time and ready to go he knew his products and was good with recommending what we should go with. All the guys on the crew were very nice very courteous and professional. They did a great job every day when they were done they cleared the job site and tidied things up. Mika was a one man crew and installed all the windows by himself in one day.

Working with Richardson Exteriors was a very positive experience. From the initial consultation/estimate to the installation, we were very happy with their service. The installer was polite, professional, cleaned up everything nicely, and even advised us about a small manufacturer defect in one of the windows, which they reordered for us and came out to replace soon after the initial installation date. The price was better than other estimates we had received for same/similar products/services, and they didn't try to over-sell us on anything. All in all, very happy with our experience with Richardson Exteriors. Thank you!

Ron, Kirk, and Rodney did an excellent job. They found that the reason for the rotted wood stemmed partially from a bathroom vent that was not vented to the outside. Not only did they replace the soffit board, but they added a vent and replaced several other boards underneath that had rotted as well. They replaced the gutter and downspout with a larger 6" gutter and 4" downspout to better handle the storm run-off. They even replaced a small section of roof shingles. They did this for what I consider a very reasonable price. It looks great and I couldn't be happier.
