Ron the owner came out to give me an estimate in April. This was my third estimate and his price was the best by far. Work began the second week in June and I couldn't be happier with the results. Kenny installed the windows and Rod installed the siding. Both were very professional, on time, and did excellent work. The windows and door only took 6 hours start to finish and Rod started on the siding and soffits the next day. Two weeks later the house looks great. All phone calls were promptly returned and all questions and concerns were answered and explained well. Highly recommended!

Crew showed up and went right to work. Finished in a quick time. I had a small problem with an extension ladder and lawn lantern. I contacted Ron Richardson and he responded right away and resolved the situation right away to my satisfaction. This is a great company and I would use them again without hesitation.

Excellent from the start. Initial in person consultation with Ron was professional and very helpful in assisting me with making a decision on what materials / colors to use and design advice that would make the detached garage more appealing. Ron was very patient / flexible when I asked him to estimate several different options for me. I ended up choosing James Hardie cement board over vinyl making the job more expensive but it was well worth it. It looks fantastic. The roof was completed in one day and the siding took a little over a week. Granted the weather hasn't been cooperating of late with all the rain so the job took a little longer than expected to no fault of Ron's excellent team. They kept the job site looking great. I was so impressed with Ron & team that I've engaged them to install a new garage door and entry door as well. My garage will look brand new when all is said and done. I had one neighbor leave me a voice mail that said "The Grandview Economic Development Committee would like to thank you for your continued excellent improvements". That says it all! During a bathroom renovation, we discovered some damage from ice damming Richardson Exteriors inspected both inside and out to help determine the source of the water damage. They provide repair options and recommendations. Ultimately, we elected to replace the entire roof given its age of 19 years. They were able to do the work on our schedule. The work was finished promptly and looks great. Cleanup was fantastic as well. We would certainly recommend Richardson Exteriors to anyone.

I called Ron Richardson and asked him to come out and give me an estimate on replacing the room on my home. He was able to meet right away and came out, looked at the roof and gave me an estimate. His crew showed up the day they promised and worked late on the first day. They came back the following day and finished. Everything was cleaned up and looked like before the came except for the beautiful new roof. I am very satisfied with the work that was done and have scheduled having them replace my gutters and downspouts along with gutter guards.

Ron and his staff were extremely professional. They were very prompt from the time I received a quote to the completion of the job. His staff were true professionals and we could not be happier with our new shutters. Ron and his team are skilled craftsmen. They were very courteous and left the job sight very clean when they were completed. I met with Ron Richardson on another project and asked if he would travel to complete work on our summer home which was 2 1/2 hours away. He traveled to the house and completed an estimate for all the work within 4 days. The estimate was thorough, complete and extremely fair. The new roof was installed exactly as promised and the crew was awesome! They were professional, clean and did an awesome job. The siding crew arrived to the house also when promised and worked so hard to get the job done prior to bad weather coming in. They were also professional, courteous and just a nice group of guys. We are so happy with the end product. This 114 year old cottage looks brand new! Awesome service and an amazing end product! Because of the potential for rain damage due to having the gutters unrepaired, I was interested in having the work done as soon as possible and made that clear to the owner at the time of arranging for his onsite visit and drawing up the estimate. The first time I contacted the owner to offer him the work, he said the earliest he could start the work would be 3 weeks. I again explained my concern about rain damage and also that we had to be in town for about 10 days but then out of town for two weeks. He said that the work could be started as soon as we got back into town. I didn't commit to him at that point because I needed to see if I could figure out some way to make some temporary repairs that could mitigate rain damage until permanent repairs could be made. When I figure out that I could make a temporary repair, I today contacted the owner to arrange for a time for the work to be done after we were back in town (approximately three weeks from now). He suggested that I sign the contract and include what days I preferred to have the work done. But, he also made it clear that even if I offered several possible dates, he wouldn't guarantee that work would actually begin then. He said he would not pull his men off of an existing job to meet his commitment to me and that he never worked that way. I acknowledged that I understood that there are some unpredictable things in his business, such as the weather, but I pointed out that I was offering him several different dates that were 3-4 weeks away. Nevertheless, he said he was not in a position to make any promises about when the work would start.

Our experience with Richardson Exteriors was excellent. It was a large job-tearing off 2 layers of existing siding, replacing 16 windows and interior trim, new garage door and 3 exterior doors, including a French door. Also, they replaced screens on a sunroom with full glass doors. The finished product looks beautiful! Ron and his partner Kirk were always available if we had any questions or concerns and handled them without any reservations. Ron is a very honest and "no pressure" kind of guy. He was a pleasure to work with and made the whole process less stressful. Their employee, Rod, did most of the work on the house-and did an outstanding job. He obviously takes great pride in his craftsmanship. We are the type of people that demand perfection. And Richardson Exteriors delivered!

The old gutters were removed and area around the house was cleaned up. The workmanship looks exceptional. My wife and I were very pleased with the contact we had with Ronald Richardson.

I was having a leak in my upstairs bathroom due to old shingles/old plumbing exhaust, so basically my roof needed to be replaced. I called Ron Richardson with Richardson Exterior because I'd heard from people in my neighborhood that he does good work. He not only showed up the same day as my call, but also had the crew there within two days because I was so concerned with upcoming rain in the forecast. His workers were extremely courteous, and man were they fast!!! EVERYTHING was done in one day....I didn't even know that was possible!!!! The leak has stopped, the roof looks great, and I feel like I received great service for a great price. Everybody wins!

The installation went very well. They completed the work in less than two days and left the house exterior looking great. The installer was very professional and was very patient with all the questions I asked. I found some additional work that I wanted done that was not on the original estimate, and they were able to accommodate my requests. Would certainly hire this company for services in the future.

quick response and no trash left behind

Ron Richardson of Richardson Exteriors came out last Oct. to give me a price for the above work. He was not able to start right away due to weather, which we agreed needed to be favorable for a good job. He stayed in contact through winter. When a three day window of good weather was forecast late March he gave advance notice as was requested so that time off from work could be arranged. On the first day a worker, Rod, arrived promptly to begin the soffit work. My wife noted that he was courteous to her as she explained a few details about the gutters where we have rain barrel hook ups before he began the work. His part of the work only took a day and a half including clean up which he did an excellent job of. He was also mindful of our spring bulbs starting to emerge in the front of the house. On the third day, the gutter crew came out late morning and finished the job in less than two hours. As with Rod, they were friendly and courteous, avoided stepping on our spring bulbs and did a good job cleaning up. The workmanship looks very professional. Shortly after the work was completed we got heavy rain for a couple of days which tested the gutter system and they worked great. I am extremely happy with the work performed and the level of service from Ron and his entire crew.

This company is great! The owner and employees were all excellent to work with. Prompt, accurate estimates that are easy to understand, and no hidden costs. You actually get the felling the owner cares about the financial strain homes can put on you, and he works with you to reduce the costs as much as possible while still providing high quality work. Honestly the easiest contractor I have ever worked with.

We were in the early stages of considering a range of improvements on our home, so we wanted to gather some cost information and talk to an expert. Ron responded to our initial request very quickly and provided great service. He walked us through several different things and provided itemized estimates for each. There were no high-pressure sales involved, just casual friendly conversation. We will look to Richardson first when we're ready to move ahead with any improvements.

Ron Richardson with Richardson Exteriors was referred to us by a very good friend. Ron came over within a day or so of our first contact and gave me an estimate on the spot. He recommended to save the majority of our outside gutters that had been damaged by a previous contractor. We thought we would have to install all new gutters. Ron's estimate was extremely fair and saved us a lot of money. We approved he repairs/work at our first meeting. Ron's crew was at our house in less than a week and completed the job so quickly without any disruption to our family. The work is excellent and everything including the leaf guards looks awesome! Ron is professional, fair, courteous and trustworthy. We are now using him to do the entire exterior of another house for us....including roof, siding and gutters. Extremely happy our friend referred Ron to us!

I read the reviews on this company and selected them based on Angie's list. I found Ron Richardson, the owner, to be very prompt and professional. He was helpful with suggestions on what to do to take care of my issues and he provided an estimate that was thorough and reasonable. I agreed to the work on the spot. Communication was less clear when the job began. Receiving an invoice in the mail was my notification that work had started. This bothered me a bit, so I will make my expectations known up front in the future. The new gutter blends seamlessly with the existing gutters. The crew was so neat and clean that I couldn't tell that they had been there. I would do business with Richardson Exteriors again.

Our 60+ year old house still had all original windows. Storm windows had been placed over the single-pane glass, but they were still in need of replacement. The installers were quick and cleaned up after themselves; it only took them a day to remove the old windows and install the new ones. It took another day to finish up the work on the outside, which the installers did even though the weather was poor and it was raining. When it came time to settle the bill, Ron even let us know that we had slightly overpaid him (~$20). We greatly appreciated his honesty and the work that he did!

We chose Richardson to complete the repair work b/c we were impressed with the Owners knowledge about the particular siding that was already on our home. The owner suggested that we try and save the piece of aluminum that was still attached to our house rather than right away suggesting we spend even more money to just tear the piece off and replace that piece with a new piece. The Owner was personable and seemed sincere. Richardson came back within 8 days to actually climb up to our 2d floor to repair the piece of aluminum and the work looks well done and the look of the siding is very nice. We would hire Richardson Exteriors again if the need arises.

Response to inquiry was prompt and thorough. Much quicker response than 2 other companies we called with 'A' grades on AL. Talked through multiple options with us. Work is complete and looks good.

The project went very well. Ron Richardson offered great honest advice, a fair price, and excellent quality craftsmanship. All of the materials were quality and cost effective. Simonton windows, RMC 044 siding, and Tyvek housewrap. His crew was friendly and they worked fast and efficiently. Ron and Kirk were clearly dedicated to customer satisfaction. They always went the extra mile to ensure that every last detail was completed with integrity.

With a week to closing on our house we accidentally put a hole in our siding. Richardson exteriors sent someone immediately out to give an estimate and within days had it repaired! Huge lifesavers in our time crunch :-) will recommend to everyone professional, prompt and repair cost extremely fair. Thanks so much!
