Richardson Exteriors

Having contacted four companies prior to contacting Richardson Exteriors, Ron, the owner, was by far the most professional, thorough, and impressive of the companies that actually followed up to my request for a quote. The crew that worked on the house was cheerful, thorough, courteous, skilled and quick. They did everything contracted and made sure we were satisfied before leaving my property. The owner visited the work site to check on progress and make sure the work was being done according to the contract and expected standards. I am very satisfied with the work performed, the products used, the end result and my overall experience! I will recommend Richardson Exteriors to anyone that asks!

Plan was to have repair done in 3-4 weeks. I was informed they would call a few days be they came to perform the work. Then during a conversation of acceptance of the proposal it was stated they should perform the repair in about 2 weeks. I waited and no one called, so I figured weather may have backed them up. I waited for 4 1/2 weeks and no one called. I called and they stated they thought it was done by now. So, they told me they would be out in 2 days. I waited 2 days and on the day they were to come... by 3:30pm no one showed up. I called and canceled the work as I assumed they just didn't want my business.

It was nice working with Richardson Exteriors. Had the siding replaced on my house. All went well and it looks great.

The interaction with Ron throughout the process was excellent. He was quick in coming out to the house and providing a quote to replace a significant amount of cedar siding. Once the work began, the employees were courteous, professional, did a quality job and cleaned up after themselves. When I requested additional work, it was done without complaint, and Ron was very fair in the cost for the additional work. I'd use his services again.

They arrived on time, were very professional and went over and above what I expected in order to make sure the problem I had with the wall was corrected. I definately would recommend them.

First stage: conversation with Ronald Richardson went swimmingly. He clearly knows his business, spent time examining the work to be done, offered a price, explained what was entailed, and did not pressure me at all, but left it up to me to call or not. Second stage: I call to contract the job, and he was receptive, polite, flexible. The tentative date we agreed on proved inconvenient for me, since I ended up being out of town then, but he accommodated the new date I proposed. Third and final stage: The two workers came promptly at 8, worked assiduously until after noon, and let me know when the job was done. It looks excellent, and I could not be more pleased with the work. I would recommend the company and would use it again. Appreciating good work, HG

Ron Richardson came out with a sample of the window (he was the 3rd of 3 estimates). The other companies that I had been quoted by did not have samples, however we were going by the good, better best ratings. Ron was very honest. He was willing to quote me top of the line, triple paned windows, however stated it was really not necessary with our location (low traffic) and climate. I was happy with his knowledge and simplicity. I knew when he left we were going to use his company. The installers came out. It was a father-son team, and they were awesome. I can't imagine having anyone else in my house all day long. They were clean, respectful (even to my kids nap schedule), and meticulous. The windows look great. There was an issue with the factory shipping the wrong sashes for our upstairs windows, however they were reordered, and changed out within a week. I am very pleased with this company from start to finish, and have already recommended them to my father for replacing exterior doors.

It was very nice working with Richardson Exteriors and they did a good job with our garage. When Ron came out for our initial quote, he was very knowledgeable and professional. His price was reasonable compared to other quotes I had received and I felt confident in his assessment and suggestions. They were not able to start the work when they originally told me they would, but they were very good about communicating these schedule changes with me. The work they did accomplishes exactly whe we needed and looks good. I will definitely contact Richardson Exteriors for future work.

The work was very good, the installers professional, timely, and efficient, and Ron Richardson's suggestion about how to solve our gutter overflow problem seems to have worked, since we haven't had trouble in the big rains we've had since the new gutter was installed. I found the communication to be somewhat lacking, but I wasn't an ideal communicator in this exchange, either, so it may have been partly my fault. I would definitely hire them again for a major project, but probably not for minor repairs or maintenance, since I got the sense they were less interested in that.

He was very friendly but we knew someone through the family that does this type of work so we actually went with him and he was a better deal. The salesman from Richardson Exteriors was really friendly and stuff. When it came down to who was actually going to be working on my house, I didn't know who that was going to be versus the person we are going with since I know them so I feel more comfortable having my kids here and stuff. The cost depended on what we were wanted to have done. If he did everything it was going to be around $1300. He was punctual and came out when he said he was going to. He actually even called me because he was running early. The only thing was that when I got here, he got here earlier than me and he had already gone out and working which was fine but in some ways I thought they should have waited till I got here. He was friendly and very nice. I thought the quote was very reasonable. I would consider them I guess.

Ok in the end, although it took three repairs to stop the roof leak and the cost increased considerably over the initial estimate. This was a repair on a hip roof with a low slope and there was a leak in a valley between parts of the roof. In the final repair they removed much more of the roof and added a layer of rubber. That has kept out the water so far. I think they did a good job and would be ok hiring them again. They did repeatedly miss appointments they had made and came days or a week later but possibly there were unusual and extenuating circumstances impacting some of their staff during the timeframe of our repairs. I expect that they are usually more punctual than this.

Great company to work with and very informative. They even took my husband on the roof to go over any issues we had. We felt they were very honest and wouldn't recommend doing anything that didn't really need to be done. We will definitely use them again!

We chose Richardson to do this work because our past experience with them was very good. Everyone we interfaced with listened and took time to understand our wants. For this project we had the following three items replaced. Our swinging patio door replaced with a sliding door. Our right swinging garage service door and jamb replaced with a left swinging door and jamb. And the window in our garage replaced. The crew was professional, experienced, and efficient. All the old hardware and debris was cleaned up and removed. I was very impressed with how well everyone worked together.

Ron called me right away when I contacted him via email. I didn't call back right away so Ron was persistent and called me again. I liked that he was persistent because I got busy and this let me know he was a serious business man. Ron never cancelled any appointments and he was fair in his quote. He said his partner would be out to complete the work after Labor Day and his crew came out shortly after. The crew even nailed a few nails down on my roof that they saw were sticking up. I appreciated this because that meant to me that they took pride in their work and that they look out for the customer.

They had two guys come out and hang the door (double) perfectly. It looks great and is VERY high quality. I also needed my deck to be completely refurbished (couple of deck boards replaced, it stipped of old stain, and restained). Ron came out with a few guys, they replaced the boards, stripped it, and did an unbelievable job restaining.....it looks fantastic. The price is VERY right for these two jobs!!!!

Great experience with Richardson. Kirk Free, our sales representative, was very professional, likeable, and genuine. He was not pushy, and followed through promptly on a couple of minor issues with the installation of the gutters. While it took a while to get the work done, it was well worth the wait. The summer being the busy season, we knew it would take some time to get the work actually done, but our patience was well-rewarded. Their being busy is also a sign that these guys do good work. The installers were punctual, friendly, and professional. The work appears to be well done. They also did a nice job of cleaning the area once the work was completed. We've had a couple of hard rains since the installations, and everything seems to work well- no leaks! Over all very pleased with Richardson Exteriors.

I am purchasing a home and needed at least repair estimates for the roof, siding and gutters. I was hoping to receive estimates from 3 companies before closing so the repairs can be scheduled for the 3 weeks after closing and before we move in. I cannot wait until after closing to get these estimates because then we wouldn't be able to have the work done in time. Ron called and said it would be $200 for the "free estimate" because his time isn't free and because we do not yet own the home there is still a chance we won't close.

It's construction, They did a side of the house at a time and knocked it out in 3.5 days. Looks great. When it was completed, We did a walk through and defined a knockout list. All issues and concerns were addressed. They are very accommodating.

I hired Richardson Exteriors to side and reroof my detached cinder block garage (see earlier review) and was so impressed by their work that I decided to move forward with also replacing my garage door and opener, as well as, entry door. Just as in the previous job, their work was exceptional. The two teams they sent out were top notch on their workmanship, as well as, professionalism. My new garage door has a full sun ray of windows as does the entry door which has brightened the space. They recommended a high quality (almost whisper quiet) opener. I am so pleased with my newly renovated garage....you wouldn't recognize it from its previous state. The compliments from the neighbors keep coming in. I now look out my back windows and smile when I see my transformed back yard.

Went well, they came, removed old, and replace with new(including gutter guard). It was painless.

Went well, widows (9) are great, Installation was painless, they took the drapes and wood blinds down for installation, when done, they put them back up. They did every thing, staining of the windows, the grids and the new window casings.

My old gutters were 15 years old and needed replacement. I called Ron (he also did my roof and covered all soffit and trim with aluminum) to have my gutters replaced with gutter toppers. His guys came out and did the job in one day, everything looks great, and I can assure you that everything works properly as it's been storming for the last 3 days....all is good.

Ron and Kirk both came out and took a look at my existing exterior. I informed them that the wood was rotting in some place and just generally looked bad. They suggested that we cover all areas with white aluminum. The whole place looks fantastic, I especially like the front porch ceiling! I can't believe I waited this long to have this done.
