Ivan Ray came to my house to give me a quote on some electric work that I need done around the house. This guy was absolutely awesome. Went above and beyond checking on all the electric system. The quote we got was very competitive. Great guy to talk to and great professional in his respected field.

They did a really wonderful job , they cleaned up after themselves and they were terrific.

Overall we had a negative experience with My Electric Works. It started in Nov of 2021 when they replaced our box, we thought everything was all set but when we went to have our furnace replaced by another company they mentioned we did not have permits for our electric box. We reviewed the invoice for th work done by My Electric works on the box and noticed we paid for permits but never received. So in April of 2022 we called back, they then came out to label box which also was never done and found wires that had not been grounded properly in Nov 2021 so fixed that as well. Finally after 5 months we got the permits we had paid for originally. Then we had an issue with our living room light switch while replacing the switch where it had stopped working. We decided to give them another chance and called to have them come out to look at it. On the phone call to set up the service visit there was no mention of a diagnostics fee or an increase to the diagnostics fee. Once the technician arrived, he told us that just for diagnostics it would be $250 charge which was over a 100% increase from the fee we had paid 5 months ago. As he was already at the house we agreed since we thought the issue would be resolved. When he told us he would not be able to fix the switch without tearing out the drywall on our entire living room ceiling (which we do not want to do) he left with nothing better then when he arrived. So we had paid $250 for nothing to be fixed. When I called to complain about this exorbitant fee and ask why we had not been made aware of it during the scheduling call and to understand why it had increased so much we were told sorry this is the way it is. Very unhappy with my experience and with their customer service.

Set up a time for an estimate over a week in advance, and never showed up. Set up an appt for first thing in morning and never made it. Already not starting off well. I was looking forward to using the company based on all the positive reviews but don't think I can trust a company that can't even show up to the first appt. Just got a phone call at 3:00 to say they won't make it out today. Look elsewhere

Our electric for our hot tub and patio/fire-pit area was a little tricky to get installed but John Lake and Jai Anthony did an awesome job getting it where it needed to go. They cleaned up after themselves and gave me a thorough walk through of the job once the work was completed. Thanks guys!

The technician went above and beyond to make sure the area was spotless after they installed our new 200 amp panel. Good guys

They were here Thursday evening to evaluate, then promptly Friday morning at 8. Work was done quickly and cleanly. Would highly recomend.

From a faulty Pushmatic (sp?) panel to some older knob and tube wiring, these guys were fantastic in making our home safe again. John did a great job explaining what was going on throughout the entire process and saved us alot of money along the way. Thank you guys!

The electrician the company sent out was great to work with and I think he did a pretty good job. However, an important piece of the job was not completed - My Electric Works sub-contracted out the venting of the exhaust fan to outside. This sub-contractor completely ghosted me twice after agreeing to do the work. I called My Electric Works to resolve the issue and have not heard anything back. I spent $1500 for a day's work, which has not been completed. Mixed review because the technician was good, but the work was over-priced for what was done and the job is not complete.
