 + -1 moreGreat experience! Nathan was prompt, efficient and professional. He completed the inspection and walked us through his findings on the house we were planning to buy. When the buyers for our current house indicated concern about past termite damage and we called to schedule service, Char advised us on the cost of termite remediation being between $1500-$3000 and questioned whether it was really necessary if there was no current damage or evidence of pests. She was honest, straight forward and ethical and armed us with information to counter our buyer's request. Five stars all around for this company.

 + -1 moreAfter discovering what I thought wast new termite damage in a previously damaged area of the house, I contacted Quality Pest Control to inspect for new termite activity. Their inspector contacted us the same day, and made an appointment for the following day. He arrived at the time specified, thoroughly inspected the house, and advised that we did not have an active termite infestation. The damage (drywall tunneling) was old and had just recently become visible. We were not charged for the service, which included a thorough question/answer session, and a promise to return, at no cost, for additional inspections if we ever suspected new activity at any time. In 40 years of home ownership, I have never had a better experience with a service provider. I will never hesitate to use this company for pest control purposes if needed.

Description of Work: Requested extermination of house bugs. Service was not on time and communication was not polite and professional. Job was not effectively done the first time. Paid $640.50 in error, instead of $533.75. Overpaid by $106.75 and contractor has not refunded the overpayment. Dishonest contractor with lack of integrity.

 + -1 moreI was having repairs done on my wood porch. An area we thought that just needed minor repairs was found to have ants and small white bugs infesting the wood and what appeared to be old termite tubes in a very small area of the porch. Contacted Qualtiy Pest Control based on a recommendation from a family friend who is also in the business, but who doesn't handle termites. Nathan and Mike came out the next day and inspected the porch area, the rest of the outside of the house, and the inside of the basement. They felt the small area of the tubes and the fact that they seemed old and unused meant termites weren't the issue as much as carpenter ants. They suggested localized spraying around the porch and front of the house and then in a year or two, have someone come out to re-inspect the house. Mike and Nathan were professional and knowledgeable, and happy to answer questions and other concerns I had.

Description of Work: The first visit (March??) was to determine whether or not I had a termite problem, as a roofer thought he had seen a suspicious area. Fortunately, no evidence of termites was found. The service was to provide a measure of insect control in my house. The contract allows for 3 treatments per year, which would total approximately $660/year. The treatment covered ants, carpenter ants, centipedes, millipedes, bumble bees, yellow jackets, wasps, clover mites, earwigs, pill bugs, and spiders. As I live in the woods, I was most concerned about carpenter ants and termites, and, because of the earlier visit to inspect for termite presence, I just assumed termite control was included. I should have asked specifically about the termites, and not made that assumption. My only concern with the company is that they did not make that point even though they had just been there to inspect for evidence of termites. The interactions I had with the office were excellent. They responded quickly to my emails and phone calls. I actually was not present. They sprayed a portion of my house, barn, and garage, in addition to a perimeter area around each structure. They called the day before to give me a "heads-up", and left a note for me the day they sprayed.

 + -1 moreWhen we bought our house the inspection found termites in the detached garage and the previous owners hired Quality Pest to treat them. The next summer we saw more termites, so called out Quality again. Even though we were slightly beyond the warranty period, they stood by their work and retreated the garage at no cost to us. We were really impressed with the integrity of this company.

 + -1 moreVery friendly technician answered the phone. I was home for the day, and they offered to come over same day. Said there was no cost for the trip. Arrived when he said he would. Checked out the damage and said it was wood rot with secondary insect infestation - no termites! Said if we replace the railroad ties in the garden, we should be fine. If, as we replace them, we find any critters of concern, Mike he said to place those in a bag, call him, and he would be happy to come and examine them for us.

 + -1 moreWorked mostly with Mike Poulton (VP). Mike was very professional and personable. We took the extra time to explain the various services offered with NO SALES PRESSURE AT ALL! (We even suggested that I shop around, if I felt at all inclined.) I actually did not even call another place, as I felt very comfortable with this firm. Mike wait a few days until the ground was not too saturated (form rainy weather), then a technician applied the treatment. The drilled holes in the porch were fixed very well. I would recommend Quality Pest Control, as did a neighbor (which is where I got this referral).
Description of Work: Treated entire perimeter of house and crawl space for termites. Price includes 5 yearly inspections and guarantee.

They would only come to leave the baits, but they wouldn't check on them. In the end, I went with a different company, but I thought their service and price were reasonable.
