Because of the area involved and the age of the house (vintage victorian) it was important for us to know if there had been any expansive water and/or mold damage in the closed ceiling area and adjacent wall. We had removed part of the ceiling dry wall so they could examine interiors walls, beams, insulation, pipes etc. I must say that this was an exceptional company to work with. Totally responsive to my questions and concerns. Tony was very professional and also quite personable. Rick was quite prompt in responding to my email inquiry. If the need should arise, I would have call them in am instant. They were great!

Description of Work: We returned late Sunday afternoon after a short trip out of town to find water dripping from the can lights in our first floor kitchen, along with large wet spots in the drywall ceiling. We called Puroclean Monday morning after a quick search on the Angie's list website, and a team of four professionals arrived within a couple hours. The team was quickly able to diagnose the source of the leak to our upstairs master bath, unfortunately needing to cut through the drywall in the kitchen ceiling. I was very impressed with the care taken to explain each step of the process, the care taken to ensure countertops and cabinets were protected from damage, and the effort made to tidy up after the first phase was complete. Several fans were brought in to dry things out, as well as a powerful dehumidifier. While the ceiling has not yet been replaced, I'm confident the team at Puroclean will see things through to a satisfactory conclusion. I would highly recommend Puroclean for water damage remediation and repair.

Description of Work: We had mold in a crawl space area of a bedroom before we moved into the house. They were timely and got the job done before we moved in. The crew members were polite and cleaned up after themselves.

Description of Work: Problem was uncontrolled basement humidity despite humidifier than ran all the time. Tech said that humifier was working, but that crawl space adjacent to regular basement was the problem - we spend over $500 to have that the entire crawl space lined with plastic. The problem continued. When we called a humidifier repair company, an over-the-phone diagnostic revealed that the humidifier was not working at all. So when we replaced the humidifier the high humidity problem was immediately corrected. So we are thinking $400 spent for nothing.

Description of Work: We had mold damage to our baseboard, drywall and bathroom. Additionally, we found a few mushroom spores in our family room which made our down stairs off limits. I arranged appointments with several companies for estimates. I found the PuroClean team to be very professional and prompt. As a result, I cancelled all pending appointments with the other companies based upon PuroClean's initial visit and follow-up conversations. Tony was very attentive to our needs and our emergency. He was very prompt when replying to my e-mails. The estimate was also very fair considering the service we received. Our home was serviced by Tom who did a very thorough job. He addressed all of our concerns and once again our downstairs is habitable. Thank you for your service and getting our downstairs back in order. I will definitely recommend PuroClean to others.

Description of Work: Puroclean removed the water-damaged carpet from our basement and dried out the basement quickly. They used a sub-contractor to restain and reinstall the damaged baseboard. The sub-contractor was not as professional as one would hope. I had to call them several times to correct staining issues but it was finally resolved.
