Everything went exactly as planned! How often does that happen? They came out late last year and gave us a very fair quote. We scheduled the work for June. They gave us a reminder email a month or so in advance and then they showed up right on time. The finished driveway looks fantastic and we couldn't be happier. The crew was hard-working and courteous. They were careful with our property and answered all of our questions. We have a fairly long driveway. The estimate they gave us was less than we expected after doing some research, and they stuck with their estimated price even though we expanded the scope of the project somewhat. Would not hesitate to recommend to friends.

Great job! Arrived on time and finished in one day. I booked this in March but they are so busy they couldn't get here till September. It was amazing they were so organized they gave me my date for the work in March - actually showed up on time in Sept. - and did an excellent job.

The company showed when they were scheduled and seemingly did a good job for the blacktop, although they damaged some of my garage concrete floor, which I ended up repairing myself as they didn't offer to repair the damages. After only 15 months my driveway is now having large cracks appear on one side that was new driveway expansion and not re-doing an existing part, so the base layer should have been all new, since no existing was there. Pullins came out and explained basically it's normal to see this especially on sides, and would use a crack filler. I disagree totally and especially in such a short timeframe to see this occur and don't believe they prepped the base sufficiently, and 15 months is too short to have a breakdown. I would not recommend using this company, when there are plenty of other companies in central Ohio that would step up and fix the problem, other than to put a crack filler in there which is a temporary fix !

Great! The work was done on schedule and at a reasonable price. There were no issues with the workmanship. And the new driveway looks great.

They coordinated well on what they needed from me. They showed up on time, completed the work quickly, cleaned everything up and even sent a thank-you email! Although they were so busy this year that when I contacted them in February they had to schedule me in August, it was soooo worth the wait. Other companies I contacted either didn't get back to me, were really sketchy on details, or quoted more than double. Pullin's was easy to reach, kept in touch over the spring/summer, gave me a detailed quoted, and even had a senior discount. You couldn't ask for anything more.

We needed to have our driveway completely replaced.

I was put on a long wait list but if you want someone good at a fair price I guess that is what happens. They sent detailed information one week before the agreed date and then arrived early on the scheduled date at 7:30am. They were very congenital and worked steady all day without any breaks, and completed the job at around 4 pm. It was a large area and a bit more than they had contracted for but they never upped the price and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend them to any one who wants to see the results you expect from a good product and hard work. They did a through job prepping the area and followed through with cleanup and attention to detail. I shopped for weeks for a company and read endless reviews and I am glad I did because I am very happy with the result.

They came on time did the job they promised in a very professional way. I am super happy with my new driveway. They removed three layers of asphalt and put a beautiful smooth driveway in its place.

They were a pleasure to deal with start to finish. Got me on the schedule even during a busy time for them. Showed up on time and completed job with no issues. They did not leave yard signs (which I would have been happy to display) but one of my neighbors asked me about who did it. I was happy to share their info with him and hopefully they have another satisfied customer.

We were recommended Pullin's and had them come out to give a quote. They were prompt and gave us a quote immediately. We heard that they were not the cheapest, but we are willing to pay for superior work. They are a small shop and booked us for ~6-7 months after the quote. In between receiving the quote and the job, we discovered that we had concrete underneath the existing blacktop. I emailed them letting them know and inquired as to what the upcharges would be. They indicated it would be little to nothing, to which I responded that was fine and if it was going to be $1,000+, I wouldn't be OK. She responded "I thought you would say so". The day of the job, I reminded them of the concrete and guy leading the job indicated it was going to cost about $900 more to remove and haul the concrete. Given that it was now late fall and my options were to either pay it or tell them to walk, I let them do the work. The work was fine. Not the greatest. The main issue I have is that the edges of our new driveway aren't exactly straight, which is frustrating, but they were nice enough. I had pointed it out to them at the end of the job and they made a halfhearted attempt at fixing it. Afterwards, when I reminded the wife about our email exchange which happened months before she said she misread my email and would discount the job $200 which is the most she would be able to do given the additional labor and cost of disposal. At the end of the day, I went with Pullin's without having others bid based on a recommendation of them being fair, doing good work and being honest. I cannot, in good faith, recommend them to others based on our experience. I can fully appreciate that the misunderstanding on the extent of the concrete, but at the end of the day, I thought the craftsmanship was just OK, their prices were high (relative to some other neighbors who had work done), and their resolution of an issue that was previously discloused to be sub-par. Therefore, I rate them as C, which is Fair. That has been my experience.

Pullin's did a fantastic job on the overlay of my driveway. They took an old, shabby, cracked and broken driveway and made it look new again. They arrived on time and did the work in a professional, quick and efficient manner. I would highly recommend them and would not hesitate to use them again.

It could not have gone better. Pullins came out, listened to exactly what we wanted and wrote up a detailed contract. On the installation, they did beautiful work, and it was as if members of the family were making sure it was done just as we wanted. We could not be happier, and recommend Pullins Blacktop to anyone needing driveway work.

I consider three factors when reviewing contracted work--organization, communication and skill of the company's work crew. Pullins Blacktop came in with very high marks in all instances. The organizational ability allowed the communications to be timely and informative. It also allowed the company to keep to the estimated schedule and price. The work crew knew what was needed--no dawdling around. Everyone had a job to do and did it. One final note. My sister, who shares the home, is handicapped and needs a cane to walk. Steps are difficult for her. Our front sidewalk, that runs from the front stoop to the driveway, ends in a step down to the driveway. One of the crew noticed this, and suggested to her the option of building up the driveway to meet the top of the step (like a gradually sloping ramp). This way, there would be no step down. While this might seem minor, to a handicapped person it does matter.

Pullins Blacktop do an absolutely wonderful job! I had estimates last summer but when I phoned them in winter, Pullins agreed to hold it's price. They were scheduling out to mid July and gave me a schedule for today. Last week I checked - they were still on schedule. Today - as promised - they arrived at 7:30 am and completed the work by 11. They were tidy and respectful of my property and the driveway looks great! I'm very grateful for their professionalism.

The driveway is 250 feet long with a large pad in front of the side load garage. The crew began first thing in the morning and they were finishing up as I returned from work that afternoon. The driveway is very nice and the edges look great. We have several large trees with flower beds right along the driveway. The crew respected my property and took great care to disturb very little in the beds while completing the project. I highly recommend Pullins for blacktop work.

Did not use them as they only replace/repair driveways, not seal coat. I dont know why their name comes up under sealcoating

Everything went very well. The guys showed up on the date and time promised. They were very professional and efficient. Took them 2 hours to demolish and install my new asphalt driveway. I appreciated the attention to detail. They wouldn't leave until I was completely satisfied. I would highly recommend this company!

My experience with Pullins Blacktop was wonderful! I had an old, cracked driveway that made me crazy. I now have a beautiful, smooth drive I can be proud of! The crew was great! Arrived on time, kept me informed and went above and beyond! I would hire again in an instant!
