Nathan was able to come out the day after we spoke on the phone. I asked for quotes on several alternatives for painting the vast majority of our condo (i.e. with & w/o woodwork, etc.) He was able to work up an itemized estimate the following day and we scheduled the work 10 days later. He arrived precisely as promised (almost spooky!) He went out to purchase paint and then prepped the upstairs. Embarassingly for me, due to medication, I had fallen asleep sitting up right smack in the middle of the Great Room when his two-man crew arrived two hours later. When I woke up, they were painting quietly all around me and they even managed not to laugh. They were extremely professional. I never saw any of them take a break and they worked quickly, ensuring the quality of their work. Although they had thought it might go into the second day, they were able to complete the work in one day. After they left, you would never have known they had been there except for the gorgeous paint job! We are extremely pleased and would recommend them to everyone and would have been willing to pay more.

The job went very well. Nathan is very responsive. Most of our communication was via email. He provided a quote, committed to a general timeframe to complete the job, followed up in a timely manner and completed the job within the promised timeframe. The work was completed very quickly. He was very flexible with how to handle the purchasing of the paint. I asked him to buy the paint for us - the price above includes the cost of the paint, and that was about $75. After the work was completed Nathan followed up to ensure we were happy with the work I shared with him that I was not happy with the color of the accent wall (not his fault - I picked out the color). He offered to go back to the paint store to see if he could get me another gallon of paint for free and he did make the attempt. The store felt that the color was close enough to the sample that they wouldn't replace it. I went back to the store later and was able to pick a darker color and they took my partially used gallon and darkened it to my specifications for free (Sherwin Williams). I then followed up with Nathan and we scheduled a time for him to return and repaint the wall. He returned and repainted the wall - at no extra charge. We are very pleased with the new color.

Fantastic!Very prompt with return call to set an appointment to give an estimate. Willing to accomodate my schedule, very professional ,courteous, did a great job. Cleaned up except for the residual smell you would have never known they were here! Even better yet I dont have to walk around for days hurting !

Great experience. We provided them with color samples, and they provided matching paint. The 3-man team took half a day for the basement, and two days for the first floor. The work was impeccable.

Prim Painting did a fantastic job! First, they were very responsive to my original inquiry and were the lowest estimate we received among 3 companies I contacted through Angie's List. They also said they could complete the job in one day, which was very appealing to us. The scheduled work happened to fall on the day of the big snowstorm, and they were still here bright and early ready to work, and finished in one day as promised. The paint job is beautiful in every room - we are more than happy with the results! They were courteous in our home and cleaned up every inch - there was not a trace they had been in our house all day. We will definitely call them again and I highly recommend their services. Great job at a great price!

We selected Prim Painting after receiving two estimates. Prim was half the cost of the other estimate for the same work. We were given an estimate up front and the cost did not change after the job was completed. The job was estimated to take two days and it did. The first day we came home to find all the wallpaper mostly removed from the kitchen and dining room (the top layer was gone but there was still some paper and glue to remove). There was NO MESS from this activity and we were able to still use our kitchen to prepare a meal and eat in our dining room. The second day we came home to find all the painting had been done. We were impressed with the attention to detail and how nice everything looked. We didn't find paint on the ceiling or the baseboards, and there was no mess leftover. The only cleanup we had to do was wipe down the counters in the kitchen and a couple of other surfaces. The painters had cleaned these surfaces but there was still some residue left behind. Believe me, I am not complaining about this. Nathan came back on the morning of the third day to paint some caulk that had not dried before they left at the end of day 2, and to see if we had any other things to fix before we considered the job done. We did not. This has been our most pleasant experience working with a home improvement service provider. We will definitely use Prim Painting again for our future painting needs.

They were amazing. Prompt, efficient and clean. They estimated a two day job and were finished with the two coats in a day and half.

I have been a homeowner for many years and have had alot of work done such as repairs and painting. This truly was the BEST experience that I have ever had with painters. The owner, Nathan, arrived to the estimate appointment on time, responded with the estimate within 24 hours as promised, it was itemized as I had requested. I then hired them to do the job which was completed within the time frame set forth. They were extremely neat and respectful of our home. Nathan followed up to see if we were completely satisfied. This company had extended such great service that my daughter has now hired them to paint her condo in Lewis Center - top to bottom - , that has to be perfect since she is putting the condo on the market.

They did a really good job for us. They were on time, they came in on price, and they did a good job. The price was competitive. No problems at all. I'd use them again for sure.

They were very prompt. I think they came out maybe the same day I called or maybe the following day. They came and looked at the areas I wanted painted and then they emailed me that night with the actual quote. They seemed pretty thorough, they asked if we wanted them to do some extra work like filling in and sanding some nail holes, so they were pretty detailed. They were very friendly when I let them know that I wouldn't be using them. He emailed me back saying he understood and to please keep him in mind for the future. I was very impressed.

Their service and everything was excellent. They were prompt, courteous, they were good at the trade and they weren't pushy at all.

Nate & Co. were fantastic, start to finish! Nate was very responsive and provided an estimate almost immediately. We scheduled quickly, and when the day came, they arrived on the dot and began to prepare. They were efficient and professional all the way through. In fact, I couldn't believe how quickly they transformed the room. Not only was this a quality job, they are nice guys, too! I would definitely use them again and would refer them to others.

They were very professional & nice & they showed up when they were supposed to & did a great job. Then they cleaned up nicely afterward & left things as they were when they arrived. Their price was very fair & we would definitely use them again & recommend them to our friends & family.

Prim Painting is very flexible in scheduling. The original estimate was done in July, and they were willing to wait while furniture was delivered and lighting was installed, then scheduled their work for our convenience. They had very good attention to detail, protecting furniture and very good clean-up. The painting took 2 days; they arrived on time and did very good work. They were very professional and the painters worked well together. The electricity went off, and the painters worked their last 20 minutes in the dark, stating they would come back for touch-up if they missed anything. We were very pleased with the job they did and plan to have them return next year to complete the house and garage.

After moving into a home we purchased we needed the interior painted to suit our preferences. The work was scheduled for a Monday and Tuesday. Nathan showed up with 4 assistants and much to our surprise, was able to finish the entire job in one day. The crew vacuumed and cleaned up after completion and moved some of the furniture. Very nice job overall and we are quite pleased at the results! Also, Nathan met a competitors price and actually lowered the overall quote to do the job. Very efficient company!

The estimate was completed and submitted by email. The company asked me to choose my paint color. The company did not require me to use a certain brand of paint. They asked me to choose the finish. They were neat in their work and clean up each day. My only complaint is there was NO prep work completed. They completed the painting and payment was made. When I started to look at the house, I saw that bee and woodpecker holes were not filled, caulking of seams were not done and there was no attempt to nail trim boards back together (that had separated). My estimate stated holes would be filled and caulking would be completed. I had to call them back out to fill holes and do some caulking. They did come back quickly to fill holes and caulk. I feel this should have been done initially as part of the prep. If I were to use them again, I would speak up more quickly about any concerns. The paint job itself was neat with pretty good lines but the lack of prep work made me lower my quality score.

Nathan came and measured, gave me an estimate that evening via email, and finished the work before the week was over. It was a straightforward job, and we had in mind what we thought it was worth, which was what he charged us.

Nathan answered the phone the first time I called and was equally as responsive throughout the process. He provided a quote within 24 hours and worked us into his team's busy schedule so our work could be completed in less than two weeks from the date he gave us the quote. He and his team were very professional and the quality of the work was tremendous. Nathan was great about keeping us informed of their progress and updating us on expected completion date. We will call Nathan and again and will recommend Prim Painting to everyone we know.

Nathan Pratt from Prim Painting met me at the duplex on a weekday evening so that he could provide an estimate. He was professional and on-time. After I decided to hire Prim Painting, Nathan and I agreed on a date during the middle of July when Prim could paint the one-side of the duplex. I was able to move out of the duplex a week early, so I let Nathan know that he could paint it anytime. Nathan was able to fit my painting project into his busy schedule a week early, which permitted my new tenant to have an extra week of time for a less stressful move. Additionally, Prim did an excellent job. Nathan and his team removed the outlet face plates, the light switch faceplate's, the ventilation registers, and the blinds, which always results in a very professional and clean job that is very appealing. Finally, Nathan made sure that the duplex was clean prior to leaving the work site. In fact, it was cleaner than when he arrived because I left some debris from my move in the apartment that I planned to clean-up after the painting was complete. Our experience with Prim Painting was great. We only had a short window for painting before we moved into the house. They worked us into their schedule and within a week had the whole job done. They are very professional and work very efficiently (the project took less than three days with only two painters working). The results were outstanding. The condo looks great!

Outstanding service. We got three estimates and Nathan's was second cheapest, but only by a few dollars. The third guy was nearly double. So, the price was right. The best part is Prim Painting (Nate + 2 assistants) arrived on two days notice and finished the job in one day. The other estimates I got required three to four days. The quality of the work was excellent. Two coats were applied to most walls, but one room needed three because we were covering a dark, textured surface with a relatively light color. Very honest, no nonsense, they know their stuff and offered good advice, eg: use an eggshell finish vs. a flat in the bathrooms. They cleaned up when they were done and left no mess. I give Prim Painting my highest possible recommendation.

I met with Nathan Pratt, the owner, to give me an estimate on the job. His estimate was much lower than the two other painting company representatives I met with. I wanted the job started within the next few weeks so it could be finished by the time we left for vacation. Nathan's company was available to do this in my requested time frame. I chose five different paint colors and gave the swatches to Nathan to purchase the paint. He and two other painters started the job each morning at 8:00 A.M. They finished the entire job, including clean-up by 6:30 P.M. on the second day, which was much quicker than I expected! They did a very nice job, were neat, reliable, and courteous.

Prim Painting has painted for me four times equalling about 14 rooms. They responded quickly to my need, usually finishing the job within the week. Each time, they arrived on time and finished when they said they would. They were neat and courteous. I gave them color swatches and they did the rest. On one occasion, they painted a wall that I had asked for touch-up only, just because they thought it would look better! They cleaned up after themselves and left no evidence of their presence except for beautifully painted and repaired walls.

Excellent, even referred me to a window cleaner who also did an excellent job.
