Kyle and his partner showed up on time and did a great job making my exterior look like new! Very polite and efficient.

It went great. They were there on time and did what they said. The painter was concerned that another coat of paint was needed and got approval to go buy more paint to get the job done to his (and my) satisfaction. He didn't have to do that...but he did and the pillars look great.

Painters were friendly and professional. They completed the job in a timely fashion. Cut in at high cathedral ceilings well and good quality throughout. Very pleased and enjoyed the transformation of my house!

It went very well. Prim moved stuff from deck and replaced it afterwards. Very professional and no problems.

Pros: responsive, easy to work with, flexible in scheduling, did a good job on some of the painting, reasonable price Cons: did a mediocre to poor job on other parts of the painting I hired Prim to do interior and exterior painting. They did a good job on some of it (for instance painting multiple trim colors on the front porch), but the exterior paint was uneven and much of the interior prep was sloppy (for instance, on interior windows with peeling paint, they just painted over without any effort to scrape large flakes of paint or even clean dust off the windows before painting). Overall I wish I had paid more for someone who would do a more careful job.

The crew showed up when promised and finished in a day's time. The paint jobs were excellent, too. The painters used two layers of paint, minimum, and the application was very evenly done, even on the brightly colored accent walls they painted over. We've not noticed one spot of accidental paint on the ceiling, baseboards, or floor, either. Very satisfied with their work. Hiring again soon.

Perfect. From initial contact to completion was 2 weeks, and it was done perfectly. I already have plans to use them again. Maybe sooner than they expect. After initial e-mail, Nathan came out in 2 days, estimate next day (about what I expected), scheduled next day for the following week, job completed in 10 hours by his very professional team. They left home cleaner than they found it, and not a smudge of paint on anything. Second time I've used them so I can highly recommend Prim.

It was ok. They painted 4 rooms , my entry and one ceiling.

The home looks great, and the crew worked hard for 10 days scraping and painting. The crew showed up at 8:30 every day (including Saturday) and worked until 5:30 to 6:30. The crew was friendly and seem to care about the work they were doing. The price was significantly lower than others that bid.

Excellent - amazing service!! Nathan was right there to give a quote and had it prepared within a day - the crew did an AMAZING job - true craftsmen and quick. Wilber did such a great job, we are considering having them do some more projects.

Overall the crew was very skilled at painting. They did the trim around the front door and T111 siding very well, but there was a problem with communication between Nathan, the person who seemed to be in charge, and the painting crew. We, the homeowners, were often put in the position of having to get the crew to do what we wanted and met with some resistance and irritation. Nathan and I had agreed that the new Pella windows and new Pella back door were not to be painted, but the rest of the house was supposed to be. But when we tried to get the crew to paint a side garage door they resisted because it was not specifically on the work order. It should have been because Nathan and I discussed it. Nathan said he would see that it would get done, but it never was. The back basement window also wasn't painted. In addition, there were also numerous scratches put on our gutters by the painters' ladders, but when I asked them to fix them they said they didn't put them there. The power washing could have been done more carefully. The power wash crew showed up over two hours late, but didn't call to say they were still coming. When they arrived they seemed in a rush. Later I had to remove dirt from the deck myself before they stained it. It came off easily. The tops of the gutters were not cleaned during power washing; I was under the impression the tops of the gutters were to be cleaned. Many plants got overspray on them from the power wash and haven't fared too well. Many others were later painted or walked on. On the positive side, when asked they repainted some areas on the stucco. Also, they came back and painted the stucco under the deck, the vents on the side of the house near the roof, the sides of all the trim, caulked a few cracks, and put our lights back up. All of these things were done well. We also asked to have two small holes in the stucco patched. The crew leader said they don't patch stucco, just caulk wood, which is probably accurate. Within minutes of the deck painting being finished it rained. The manufacturer of the paint used says 24 hours of dry weather are needed after painting. We are concerned this may lead to problems, and Prim gives only a 90-day warranty on deck painting. In all, make sure the contract includes all that is agreed upon, especially how plants will be protected, what is to be painted and what isn't, and what is to be repaired. Also, review with the crew what is to be done. For instance they patched a board instead of replacing it as stated on the work order, but later replaced another board to make up for it. **Update On Service** I met with Nation, the owner of Prim Painting on August 2nd, 2016 to review the work that was done. I shared with Nation that I was disappointed that the contract called for Sherwin Williams Super Paint or equivalent, but I was given Sherwin Williams A-100, which is $14.00 less a gallon and does not cover as well or last as long, according to Sherwin Williams. Rather than have the crew come out again, I painted my own side door, washed and painted the gutters, the basement windows and patched a few small holes in the stucco and repainted them. For this, Nathan refunded $300. Be very care to get everything in writing on the contract, so there will be no disagreements later

The power washing removed long stating stains that a previous power washing company couldn't remove from the house. I was thrilled with how clean everything looked. The painting/staining took places a few days later with wonderful results. I would highly recommend Prim Painting, they are professional and take pride in their work

Got a fast date to do job. Let us know he would be about 30 minutes late. House looks great - got all the mildew/mold of the shadey protions of the home. Siding looks like new.

Went great. Have used Prim several times and they always do nice work. This was a large 3 day project and they sent 3 painters. Great guys always timely and cleaned up each day.

I thought they were a little bit overpriced. Punctuality and professionalism were very good. The work was very good. They were very professional. The work was performed very well.

There was some good and bad with our experience. Here's how it all went. My wife met with a representative to discuss the price for scrapping and painting the house and garage and requested they send a crew who could do it by hand since we were concerned with overspray. A few weeks later a crew showed up to paint without any warning. To be far, the crew supervisor called the day before but I wasn't available and he didn't leave a message so I had no way of knowing they would be painting on the day they arrived. (this was an issue because we had yet to pick a color for the house - though we had narrowed it down to two options) Also, the crew was prepared to use sprayers to paint our house which was contrary to our request. I spoke to one of the owners and he assured me that there would be no overspray, I conceded and let them use the sprayers. When they were done and removed the plastic from over the windows, we did a walk through in which I found several areas needing touched up. They were happy to fix everything I noticed and we noted how positive their attitudes were during this. They really wanted us to have a good experience. We had them come back a few days later for some additional touch ups we had missed and to clean up paint chips (there was one side of the house which was messy). As far as the doors go, they did well but I had to go over the glass with my own razor blade to clean up the edging even after they had touched it up. Lastly, we have an awning which they took down to paint, but I had to put it back up. This wasn't a big deal but it would have been nice to know, especially if I was less able bodied (that said this may have been my responsibility, it was just never communicated to me). The verdict: they were fast and good. They were not fussy with the details. If you need work done fast, and wanted it to look good, and aren't as fussy as me (which I would guess 9 out of 10 people aren't). You would be very happy with the work they do. We have received countless complements about the house and how good the paint job is.

We have used Prim multiple times from power washing to interior painting. And like all of the other times before, the owner and crew were always on time, professional and very good at what they do. We will continue to use and recommend Prim!

Nathan from Prim Painting did an excellent job of getting us a quote just based on us sending him pictures of our bedroom. Once we received the quote, my wife and I both missed the fifth sentence on the first page, which stated “Descriptions below address items listed above. Not all descriptions below apply to every job. If the surface is listed above, then the description below applies, unless specified above.” Please make sure all the work that you would like them to do shows in the “Service/Product, Description and Total” area. As I said, both my wife and I missed this statement and thought we would have the ceiling painted, some patchwork done and the trim painted as well. This is not a reflection of their work; Prim Painting did an excellent job and did exactly what was on the quote. After speaking to Nathan about adding a small closet to the quote, he quickly got back to me and even though we initially disagreed on the price, he told me “’l’ll make it work” and he did. As for the quality and the professionalism, no question it was top notch. Nathan and his crew painted on Friday while we were at work and did not leave a trace that they were even in our home. It is nice to see that some companies still clean up after themselves and leave only footprints. We will definitely use them again as I thought they were great. We did have another quote that was the same price, but it included the ceiling and since I thought I was going to receive everything I stated above from Prim, we decided to go with them instead. I believe his prices are a little high, so it does pay to get a couple of quotes.

Prim painting has done work for us before and we have grown to expect the best from them and we received it this time as well. Nathan is always professional and punctual in responses. We think their estimates are reasonable. We received a nice discount due to the Winter Special. The work crew showed up on time each day and were pleasant and worked hard. We were blessed to have Melvin with us most of the time. His work was exceptional. The kitchen cabinets look better than new. The finish on the fronts that was done in the shop is perfect. Melvin showed great patience as he put the new hardware on the door and drawer fronts. We had chosen backplates that were especially difficult. The work in the garage is good. The walls were badly damaged and the old metal cabinets were from the 50's. The walls were repaired and painted and the cabinets as well. We are pleased. I couldn't tell any difference before my home was washed and afterwards. Gray to black scuff marks were still present. My expectations might have been unrealistic, but I thought the purpose of the washing was to clean the siding.
