Our appt. was scheduled for 8:00 a.m. Paul showed up on time and we walked him through where the different color paints needed to be applied as well as a few areas that required filling in. He was extremely thorough and took the time to do an awesome job. We will use this company again and have also shared our experiences with others thinking about doing any painting in their home. Top notch service and job!

BEST PRICE: Prim Painting's estimate for this work was $2,000 less than other painters' estimates for the same work. EASY TO DEAL WITH: They were able to start work soon after the estimate. Painters arrived on time each day. They were neat and cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day. I felt safe with the painters in my home. EAGER TO DO THE BEST JOB POSSIBLE: Our home presented some unique challenges that required extra work, but the painters were quite responsive and clearly only concerned about making the finished work as perfect as possible. In the dining room, we chose a metallic-based paint (Martha Stewart) that presented many challenges. I had already bought the paint from Home Depot, and even the person who sold me the paint said that they had had many complaints about it. It is a very thin paint that is (it turns out) impossible to leave a smooth finish. Every paint stroke shows. Once this became apparent, the painters took several unusual measures (sanding the walls, double-priming, straining the paint to remove tiny clumps) to make the paint look smooth and to minimize the appearance of paint strokes. However, we still were not satisfied, so one of the painters thought to try sponge painting, which turned out great. The wooden cathedral ceiling took over twice as long as expected, partly because the painter was so careful to caulk all divits, pits, and recesses of the wood so that the dark wood wouldn't show through the cream-colored paint. No extra charge. WE ARE VERY HAPPY WITH THE WORK DONE AND WILL USE PRIM PAINTERS AGAIN!

We got three estimates and Prim was in the middle. The crew was very clean-cut and professional. They communicated well and stayed on schedule. The quality of their work was high, there were one or two areas that we asked them to redo because there was so much old peeling paint that needed sanded - but they were happy to redo anything we weren't happy with.

Nathan showed up on time to review the work and sent me a quote by email. I selected three contractors from Angie's list and Prim Painting had the lowest price. I scheduled the work with Nathan via email and emailed him the signed contract. His team showed up at the scheduled time and completed the work in one day as Nathan had promised. I had removed all the lamps, pictures and other small items from the rooms. His team moved the furniture to the center of each room and tarped all the floors and furniture. He had 3 people on the job. One worked the drywall repairs in the kitchen while the other two started painting in other areas. The overall result was good. The painting was great and the drywall repairs were good to OK. Matching the texture of a ceiling on a repair can be very, very difficult. One area that could be better was follow-up at the end of the job. Nathan's team did a good job cleaning up and putting back all the furniture and then left without notifying us they were done. It would have been better to have a quick we're done conversation on walk through. I give them an A.

They did an excellent job cleaning the windows. They did a thorough job, leaving no smudges. They were prompt and priced very well.

We bought The Big Deal for gutter cleaning from Prim Painting and scheduled the work several months in advance. The morning it was scheduled, they arrived promptly and cleaned the gutters efficiently and effectively. Very happy with the company and would definitely use them again.

The estimate/consultation visit went great!

I called Prim Painting about 2 1/2 weeks ago for an estimate on painting my two bathrooms with some drywall repair in one. Nathan Pratt contacted me right away and set up an appointment to come out and look at the bathrooms. I told him what I needed and that I needed it done before I continued on with the rest of my projects for the bathrooms. He told me he would work up an estimate and e-mail it to me. Within a couple of days, I had the estimate and set the date. His painter Jackson arrived on time at 8:30 am. He did a wonderful job. The drywall repair looks good and the painting was completed without problems and looks very good. Nathan then e-mailed me the next day and told me to check everything to make sure it was done to my satisfaction and if not to call and they would come back to correct. I have found no problems. I will be using them in the future. It is very hard to find a good painting contractor, but I have now found one for the future.

After having hired them last Fall to wash all the windows in our house, we engaged Prim Painting to paint the entire interior of our house - walls, ceilings, windows and trim, wood baseboards, door frames and bookcases. They scheduled the work a month out and started on the day they said they would. They did a great job, addressed all of our concerns, and cleaned up at the end of each day. We especially appreciated their crew of 4 guys who were very cooperative, polite, courteous and friendly. We would certainly use them again.

The company has a great reputation and rightfully so. We have been pleased with their service from start to finish. The estimate was a good price and the job was done on time and neatly. No mess was left behind and they moved furniture back to its original position after painting. The painters were friendly and respectful. The owner is professional and cares about the job that his company provides.

They sent two guys out and they were very professional with no dripping.

We had about 300 linear feet of gutters to clean so we thought this was a good price. They showed up on time, and did a nice job.

The whole experience from the estimate to the finish was fantastic. The estimate was excellent and came in well under what I expected. They removed wallpaper that had been on the walls for over 20 years. I previously had another company remove wallpaper in other areas of my house and lost large chunks of the walls in the process. Prim did an impeccable job with absolutely no damage to the walls and removed all glue. They taped off everything before painting, so there was no paint on the flooring or carpet after painting baseboards. They were incredibly thorough. They even removed the inside Pella window pane to paint the grid between the windows. Nothing was left unfinished. I have two small areas that I wanted retouched and they scheduled that immediately. I was very impressed with the work ethic of the painters. Other painting crews I've had in my house have taken way over the estimated time with less than desirable results. This job was finished when they said it would be finished, and it started on a holiday so some of the crew was not available for the first day. The painters were incredibly polite and professional. My house had a minor flood in the basement, which they discovered. By the time I returned from work, they had moved all furniture away from the water and fixed the problem. In all aspects of the job, they went above and beyond. I have some more painting that will need to be done in the future, and there is no doubt that I will use Prim again.

This company deserves an A++! In the past I have done all the painting in our house, but we recently had a baby and I just couldn't find the time to paint these doors in our bedroom! The project was going to be time consuming as they needed to be sanded, primed, painted and then sealed. I had several companies come out and give me an estimate for the job. If the cost was reasonable I was just going to hire a company to do it so I didn't have to worry about trying to find the time to do it myself. I was starting to get frustrated because some of the quotes that I was receiving were just way more than I would ever thinking of paying for this job! Until Prim Painting sent me their quote! It was significantly lower than all of the other quotes that I received; but, I was confident that they would do a professional job as I had read some of their past reports on Angie's List! However, the job that they did for me far exceeded my expectations! They were prompt, professional, cleaned up their mess when they were finished and did an EXCELLENT job on the doors!! I couldn't be happier! I would highly recommend them to a friend and I will definitely use them again if I ever need painting done in the future!
