Prim did an outstanding job on all of our projects - we have found our painters for life! We had a somewhat unique project - I wanted our stair railing and banister gel stained and the stair trim painted white. I'd read about gel stains (thanks Pinterest!) and seen several stair make-overs using them, however out of the five painters I had come to give an estimate, only Prim seemed familiar with gel stain and was of the only companies even willing to give us a quote. A couple of the companies wouldn't even quote it and told me that it couldn't be done. Well, it can be done and Prim did a beautiful job - it turned out exactly as I pictured it. They also made our kitchen walls smoother than they've been in the 10 years we've lived in our house - and we've had the kitchen painted once before. The owner Nate was very responsive, usually emailing back within the hour (and I emailed him a lot) and the prices were very competitive, especially given the quality of work. The crew of three were all very nice and did a great job cleaning up each night - I felt very comfortable leaving them in my house while we weren't home. I'd definitely hire them again and am recommending them to everyone I know who's looking for painters!

From start to finish, excellent service. They responded to my request for a quote immediately and their price was competitive with other quotes. My experience with Prim was great. They carefully taped and also covered furniture. These guys worked - no goofing off. My home looks brand new. You don’t pay until they are finished and you are satisfied with the work. I did have 2 ledges that were missed and they offered to come back or adjust my invoice. Hoping to use them again soon to paint lower and upper levels.

There were two gentlemen from the company that performed the work in two phases: day 1 to paint half of the floor since there were items stored there, then completed the job on day 2 after 48 hours of drying time. It turned out very nicely and I was pleased with the results.

I had removed the wallpaper but removing the glue proved too much for me to do alone. I hired Prim Painting to do it. They removed the glue and put 2 coats of paint on the walls in one day (about 6-7 hours). This was a large room with no ventilation. I have no idea how they did it so quickly. It looks nice.

First of all let me say that I contracted Prim solely based on their rating on Angie's list. We did not even have them in for an estimate because we were not closing on our new home for weeks. Painting was our first priority once we had possession. I spoke with the owner, took a leap of faith and booked them. The job turned out to have hidden issues that became evident during the prep work. We had purchased a home that had green ceilings that were peeling in places. They had us slated for one day's work, possibly with just one man. What they found quickly turned that into a three man, three day job. There were serious issues and the prep work was extensive. The workers were amazing. They explained what they found and even showed us the starting point of the issues ( five layers of paint deep) . They had to scrap, fill with a concrete bond, sand, prime and then finally two or three coats of paint. They worked exhaustively and cheerfully every day. They were wonderful at attempting to keep the rug and floors clean, and did their best to seal in the sanding dust with plastic sheeting. At it's worst stage of progress we doubted the outcome due to the magnitude of the issues. Enter the Happy Ending: Prim painting pulled of a miracle on our book! The ceilings look beautiful and there is no evidence of the prior damage! We found Prim to be professional and circumspect in ALL aspects of their business from the owner to the office to the workers. We are so grateful we chose such an amazing company!

Did a good job! Found some areas that were not initially noticeable that need touch up but this is not uncommon and they are very responsive

I needed painting done in a quick timeline for property we were selling. I sent email to 3 companies thru Angies List. Mike from Prim Painting responded the same day. (and one company responded in 4 days, one did not respond at all). I received a quick quote, agreed to the price and terms, and the painting was done within 3 days. The crew was efficient and did a great job. Nathan the owner was easy to work with and very professional. I appreciate him accommodating my circumstances and I am very happy with the quality of the job they completed. I definitely recommend them!

Worked with my work schedule so I could plan my time. Arrived on time and completed all rooms in 1. 1/2 days. Crew was very polite and professional The work was perfection no touch ups needed, but if touch ups were needed I know from experience they would be Minor and they would fix anything asap. I used them in the past ( and the touch ups were so minor) but they came out asap and fixed anything I saw. I would use only prim painting for any future painting need I would rate them A+

They never showed nor communicated proactively as to why they were delayed. Only when I called did they update, and they would always say they would be out in the next week or two, but then nothing. This went on for over a month. At that point, there was no trust in their word. Our only communications from them were an email ad saying, "book your summer paint job" (ironic since they hadn't done the one I booked at the end of May) and a final invoice sent to us for a job that had not been completed. When I called again (two weeks after they told me they would be there for the second time to paint our home) and asked why I had been invoiced, they told me they would look into it. NEVER got a call back. So sent them an email letting them know we were moving in another direction. Their reply was, "some jobs slip through the cracks". I have been in a service providing industry for over 25 years and never have I said to a client their job slipped through the cracks. Very disappointed.

Painting went smoothly. Crew of three ppl for about four days worth of work. Two coats paint. Multiple colors and various finishes.

Every job was more than I had anticipated or hoped for. Quality service first and every time. Owners and staff very professional and honest.

We have been looking to paint our master bedroom for years (mostly my fault due to indecisiveness on color). After recently settling on a color, we decided the best thing to do was to hire professional painters due to our vaulted bedroom ceiling and abundance of trim. Prim painting was the right choice. They were very friendly, professional, the paint looks fantastic and they were done in a very reasonable amount of time. The amount quoted for the size of our bedroom was definitely fair. They even gave me some great tips for touch ups when needed based on the type of paint sheen. Really great experience. We are looking at doing some other painting projects (possible painting our kitchen cabinets and basement) and will most definitely use Prim Painting again. Highly, highly recommend.
