As usual they were very communicative and, even though summer rains threw them behind schedule, they kept everyone informed when they anticipated getting to each job. This communication itself is and was greatly appreciated. With straight twenty-one days of rain this summer, it is very easy to understand how it is difficult to work outside especially when that work is being two stories up and requires you to be on steep roofs. They arrived when they said and immediately began to work. The job was done in three days. This is when the most important part of this report occurred. The painting was, in several ways, not satisfactorily as done by the individual assigned painters. It simply was not consistent with the quality of work they provided us in the past. At this point their response was what reinforced that I had made exactly the right decision in contracting with Prim Painting. I contacted the owner and asked to have him come to the house the next day. The person who supervises the jobs arrived and then the owner as arranged. They agreed with our assessment. The NEXT morning the two owners and the supervisor arrived. They replace some wood we were concerned about, repainted areas as needed and touched up others. In brief they made it right that day. The job could not have been better. To me this is even more important as it demonstrates that they are committed to customer service and correcting any problems. I would, without hesitation, utilize Prim Painting in the future for a number of services they provide. In fact I have used them again as noted above THANK YOU Prim Painting!!

Everything was done as expected and at price promised.

Everyone at Prim was very professional and prompt throughout the process. They came out for an estimate on the same day I called and were out the following week and completed this large job. The painting crew arrived promptly at the scheduled time and was very interested in making sure they understood what was to be done. While no paint job is perfect, it was awfully close. Certainly well worth the money with the Angie's list discount!

This was the first contractor we hired through Angie's List. They were very prompt in coming out to give us an estimate. We were refurbishing a double in German Village and at this point the house was empty and had the carpet already removed. Nathan was very patient and professional in working with us to determine the final amount of work to be done and in providing updated written estimates. He did reduce the original estimate since we already had paint for the walls. He did provide paint for ceilings and trims and any other materials. We gave them a key and they were able to work in our work in between other jobs and were able to complete the job by the end of the month which is what we had wanted. I was wowed by how nice a job they did on all the trim, making it look almost new, especially in the one room where a previous tenant had painted all the trim a bright yellow. The new ceilings looked great and all the paint jobs looked very good. The only negative that I had was that the crew removed ceiling fans to replace the two bedroom ceilings and did not bother to cover them while they were doing the drywall so the fans were thickly covered in drywall dust. I also had to spend a lot of time cleaning the dust from the floors. This was noted to Nathan and he did adjust the bill. Perhaps this was because the house had been basically gutted and the workers did not think leaving this dust was a big deal, but fans at least should have been covered. I don't think they would have been as messy inside a furnished or carpeted home. Overall, I was very pleased with the quality of their work and if I had any concerns they were addressed. Communication via email seemed to work the best.

Micah was immediately responsive to my inquiries. Provided a quote within hours. Fit my schedule into theirs, too. Excellent work. Also very careful of all furniture, rugs, and windows. I will use them again in the spring.

They were totally professional and did a fabulous job. They showed up on time and got right to work. They did extraordinarily good work.

It went well. Mike was on time. Finished in a couple hours. When he was done, gave us feedback on sealing and maintaining the deck.

They were fantastic. They were very easy to work with. They were very clean. The house was in perfectly good shape afterwards as much as it was before they started. They did a really nice job on the painting and it looks fantastic. They were quick. They came back a second time because my wife wanted a fancy-ish stencil project over one of the fireplaces. The stenciling didn't really work out so they ended up going out to a third party they knew to do a sticker kind of thing. They really went out of their way. It was really fantastic. We would absolutely recommend them.

I contacted Prim Painting from an earlier contact when I used Angie?s List in Columbus, Ohio (that listing has since expired since I have moved to Cincinnati but yes, I was quick to get listed here as well). I am selling my Columbus Home and had a perspective buyer interested in all but the color of the exterior wood siding. I contacted Prim Painting for an estimate to repaint the home in hopes an adjustment on the listing could clinch the deal. My ex-realtor allowed the offer to slip by and I?ve since chosen not to re-paint the home; however, that should not reflect poorly on the effort Prim Painting made to provide an estimate. It?s important to me that appointments are kept, timely and offer a complete breakdown of proposed costs. I have been pleased with results from Angie?s List (the reason I have also joined here in Cincinnati) not only for services rendered but for estimates I have sought. This far exceeds my prior experience trying word of mouth, friends of friends and the yellow pages-all of which typically resulted in broken appointments and no-shows. Accordingly, I have submitted the following to the list so others may know that although I did not do business with Prim Painting they were professional in offering a complete and timely quote. Nathan Pratt e-mailed me quickly after first contact, understood my request and indicated he would stop by the home and forward me an estimate: I received that and a very complete estimate of the proposed costs. Further, he even offered to extend this offer to the buyer for next Spring if they decided themselves that they wanted to paint the home and in more favorable weather conditions. Though I did not do business with Prim Painting they did act professionally and courteously to provide an estimate they knew, in advance, was not a certain thing. Accordingly, I did not comment on Quality. I offer a B for Price only because I did not get other quotes. For all the rest including follow through I scored them with A's.

Crew arrived on time, got right to work. Despite a day of rain in between the process, the crew again returned on time and did an excellent job completing everything to my satisfaction. I pointed out one spot that needed to be re-done and there was no question about it at all, they went back and gave the area a second and third coat. The power wash process was done professionally and completely the month before.

We ran into a few bumps along the road with this project and Nate and his crew were very professional and helpful! I would recommend them to anyone and will use them again in the future!!

They performed their work well and quickly. We are pleased with the results.

We hired Prim Painting (PP) to handle reinstallation of drywall in our basement after some foundation work was completed, as well as handling the painting and finishing. This was not a big job - the wall is 7.5'x12'. PP was very effective in their communication and estimation process, which we handled via emails. I appreciated that the company was willing to provide an estimate based off of my measurements and photos - it made the process easier. I feel we got a fair price for the work completed - the drywall work in particular was done very well in an efficient manner, and the wall was made to look very integrated into the rest of the finished basement. We received quotes from other companies - while PP wasn't the cheapest (they were fair), they weren't the most expensive either by far - one quote was almost double. PP was willing to work within our schedule and timing. I would recommend them to others for similar types of jobs.

They went out of their way to be responsive with their quote and schedule the job. They did all the work without us having to be at the house. And they did a fantastic job of removing the mildew and accumulated dirt and grime from the siding, soffits and gutters.

Prompt, courteous, professional. They arrived as scheduled, reviewed the areas to be painted and confirmed my paint choice. They spent quite a bit of time to tape and caulk the areas before painting to assure a flawless finish. They called me in right away to assure that I was happy with the color of paint that I'd chosen. They were very cautious in cleaning up all of the areas that they were working in to ensure that we would not have any mess once they finished. They gave me a time that they would finish and made the timeline. Most importantly, the painting was beautifully executed. The estimate and final cost were consistent. I would recommend them without hesitation.

They do a great job on painting. But here is the best thing they do: respond promptly - to every call, email etc. Promptly! Nathan visited my house, gave me a competitive quote and had the job done before some of his competitors even submitted a bid. I contacted him again already to do some more work.

They did a great job. This was a 'big deal' and the gutters worked great!

The estimate was done promptly - they were the first contractor of many tries willing to clean cedar shakes. They did an outstanding job cleaning the shakes, covering some areas more than once with different products to ensure they were cleaned. The staining and painting was completed quickly. Communication was excellent, and they subsequently helped me find a contractor to repair an exterior wall and replace shakes. Numerous contractors who have visited subsequently have commented on how great the shakes looked - many thought they were brand new!

Nathan from Prim Painting came out and gave me, what turned out to be, a very accurate estimate. He was efficient, professional, and knew what to look for and what questions to ask as we walked through the property. They started on the agreed-to date and really got down to business. Nearly all of the walls in one unit were painted within 2 days! It took them about 5 days longer than anticipated but I had asked them to clean and paint the basement walls and this was a longer process than anticipated. While they were there, I asked him to give me an estimate on sanding/painting the two exterior front doors. The estimate was reasonable ($300, which was much better than $3,000 for 2 new doors!) and they look exceptional. I didn't give him much direction as to color (off-white) but he chose a beautiful, neutral pale taupe that compliments the property and makes the units feel less box-like. They also cleaned the mildew off the walls in both basements and painted. It looks ten times better. Overall, I am very happy with the results. Nathan was easy to communicate with and they did what they said they would do. When I did a walk-through, I found they did not paint 2 items. I called Nathan and he had someone out there quickly to finish. There were no issues, no misunderstandings, just a thorough job well done. I would happily use them again.

The gutters they cleaned were on our rental property, so we were not there to actually interact with them. We haven't had any problems with rain overflow in the gutters, so they must have done at least an adequate job.

We were VERY happy with the work. The owner came to give an estimate. He was very professional and his price was very competitive. Jimmy came to do the painting and did a fantastic job. We had to wait a few months before they were able to do the work, due to the wet weather creating a backlog of jobs. They were good at keeping us appraised with an estimated timetable for the work. Jimmy even came to finish the work on a Sunday, and he had a smile on his face. That's dedication. We would definitely use them again.
