Precision Glass & Shower

Dana, the technician, was very curteous and answered all of my questions. Dana worked on the spot to remove the box window frame, take out the old damaged glass with broken seal and replace it with a new piece of glass with a better seal than before. He carefully put the glass and frame back together and put it in the window. Dana did a great job. My window pane looks great! I will be using him on another one of my properties.

They came and measured for the table and in about 3 weeks delivered a beautiful glass top for our large dining room table. I would recommend this company for any glass needs. Very friendly and Professsional.

These guys are great! I came to them with a really small job expecting them to not be interested in helping me, but happily I was wrong and they gave me just what I needed. They were so friendly and professional I would recommend them to anyone. I needed a replacement glass pane for a gas light that had shattered during a storm. They told me to stop on in and had my new pane cut within ten minutes - and are all really nice guys on top of it. If I ever need anything glass related in the future, this will be the place for me!

The installer, Justin, did an outstanding job! He was meticulous with the handling of all materials and very professional. He patiently answered all my questions, even offering to return if my husband and I preferred an alternative option to the way the door swung out. That made all the difference in the world because I did not want to be stuck with a door that leaked. Great service, great product, and we couldn't be happier.

Jeff, the person who came out to my house and took measurements and gave the estimate, was nice and returned calls/emails in a timely manner. The price was fair, and they had a good review on Angies List, so we decided to work with them. It took ~4 weeks for them to come out and install the glass (from the time of the order). I was told it would take 3-4 weeks, so it was not an unexpected time frame to have to wait. On install day, the installers were 1hr later than the time they told me they would be at my home which was frustrating. The install went smoothly, except for they did not have a header on the glass (trim piece at the top) which i had ordered and was clearly written on my invoice. They apologized and set up a new install date 2 weeks later. It took this long because they had to have a new door cut to accommodate the header and would not have it in before then. So, on the second install day, they were to come out and hang the new door at 4pm. Apparently, they were short staffed, so didnt make it to my house until 6pm. They did call to say they were running late, which i appreciated but i was still frustrated about it as i had planned a nice evening with my wife which had to be cancelled to get the door installed. Then, they couldnt get on the handle for the door as the threads on the pull got stripped out when they were removing it....of course they didnt have a replacement with them, so they had to come out a 3rd time (the next day) to fix the handle. All in all, they communicated well, delivered a good product, were very respectful, and worked hard to correct the multiple mistakes which occurred with my project. This includes Jeff (the estimator) and Justin (the installer). My only complaint is about the punctuality on install days...that was really frustrating to deal with.

They were execellent and estimate was lower than we had anticipated. Very professional and punctual. I would recommend them.

After checking out many service providers on Angie's List, it sounded as though Precision Glass and Shower could handle all three things that we wanted. We have a custom glass shower door which was not shutting properly, and needed to be fixed. We also had an old window, in a detached garage, that needed replacing. Finally, we had a door on a screened porch which needed to be either repaired, or more likely, replaced. I explained all of this to the person on the phone and set up an appointment. Vincent and his employee came as scheduled, seemed very professional and amiable, looked at everything, explained what was needed, and promised to get an estimate to me "by the end of the day, or possibly that evening". I gave them my e-mail address. About 24 hours after their visit, when I had heard nothing, I sent a short, polite e-mail asking when I would be hearing from them. I also gave them my e-mail address, again, just in case he had written it down incorrectly. Apparently, e-mails got lost in cyber-land; I don't really know. More time went by, and I initially wrote a pretty negative review... and the OWNER of the company contacted me IMMEDIATELY to apologize - and offered to "make it right". Well, long story short, I'd already gotten someone else to fix the shower door. But, Precision offered to install the window and door at a VERY good price. The work was completed this week. It was a little bit of a challenge, because this is an old house and the window and door frames are not square (and, of course, the window and door ARE square), but the installer persevered and did a good job. I would use Precision again. Thanks to Jeffrey and Vincent for following through!

Nice guys. They were running an hour late but called in plenty of time to let me know. Showed up exactly when they said. Very pleasant and professional. Removed old doors quickly, neatly and had new doors in before I knew it. Left me with instructions on how to apply special glass conditioner. Cleaned up their things. The handles for the new doors were not included and had to be reordered. They put the old handles on so I would not be inconvenienced until the new ones could be installed. The balance for the job was not collected and they said they would collect it when the new handles came in and were installed. Perfect! About a week later, I was called by Justin that he had my new handles. He came by, put them on, gave me a paid receipt and left with a smile. I would like to add that I have been wanting to replace these old shower doors for years. I tried calling a couple of places, but that didn't work. I joined Angie's List to find a place to do this job and found Precision Glass. Although I had two other companies out to give me a quote, Precision impressed me the most, had the best price, and the nicest people. I am so pleased with my completed job! I would also like to thank Precision and hope that they recognize the guys for the great job they do. I believe the fella's name was Justin that did my job, with another worker along; but Justin was the one who came back and finished it up. Good representation for Precision. Thanks!

I dropped of dimensions, they cut it right, and I picked it up. very pleased

They're fantastic. Their quote was accurate. Their timing was predictable and as scheduled. Basically, they said this is what work they'd do, this is what they'd charge, and they delivered. I think, initially, the price was high and then we were able to negotiate to what we considered reasonable and fair. I was happy with the price at the end but I had to negotiate. They were willing to at least negotiate. The quality is very good.

They came out and took measurements and were ontime and at the house at the specific time and date. The measurements were completed and my choices for the replacement panes were presented right on the spot. They left a quote and my wife and I discussed the options and we went with the premium option. I phoned in the order and the deposit and was told the glass would be in within 10 days. They called and informed us that the glass was in and we set up another appointment. The installation date came and they were again on time and installed the glass, took the old panes away and we were in business. I would definitely use them again and the work was completed ontime and on budget.

The made a custom glass enclosure for me. They first came out and found out that the dimensions were not correct on the glass. They scheduled another appointment but were apparently double scheduled and had to schedule again. The shower looks great but its a bit flemsy. It was installed quickly and without incident when they got to my house.

Excellent work in timely manner by two technicians. Doors are top quality and install was very good. Only would note they were late and only responded with a call from me to the shoppe. we had agreed to a call ahead but it never came. Other than that, very good experience. Price was comparable to a unit I was going to buy and have installed by another party, but it was only price neutral due to my 10% Angie's discount.

My experience was excellent. They were on time for the appointment and affordable. They were professional also.

I plan on using Precision. The quote they gave me for the work was great compared to some other competitors.

They came out to do the estimate did the measurements told us exactly what was needed . One week alter the estimate the work was scheduled and completed.

Here is all you need to know about the people at Precision Glass: A few years ago we were planning to freshen up a bathroom. As soon as we started the project, I lost my job. I told Vince that we were not going to complete the job, and he still installed our mirrors, and he did it completely free of charge! Those kind of people don't exist anymore. I will never use any other glass provider, regardless of cost. We all need to support people and companies like this.

They never returned my calls to come out for an estimate.

If everything had gone smoothly with our remodel, I probably would not have written this review. So often we miss the things that come easily to us. Because our shower was not standard or plumb, it was very difficult to measure and fit. Precision was willing to work with us when two other companies said they couldn't do the job. They have gone WAY above and beyond to get our job done correctly and in the very tight time-frame that we needed it completed within. Sometimes we see people at their best when they are doing something easy and natural for them. When you present someone with a difficult challenge, which they rise to meet and then go above and beyond for you, I believe that shows true integrity and work ethic. That is what Precision has done for us on this project. We will use them again and would recommend them to you.

It went very well, I don't think I would change anything.

They arrived at approximately the right time (10 minutes late). Two men introduced themselves and I directed them to the master bath shower. They looked at it and told me their base charge was $127.00 dollars. I asked, "Just to replace a showere door sweep?' He said, "Yes, but he could call and see if they could reduce the amount since that was all I needed." I told him to do that because I was not paying $127.00 for a door sweep that cost $25.00 at the most. I also told him that I was not told of this amount when I called to make the appointment and I was very clear when I called that all I needed was a new door sweep and maybe an adjustment (which btw was not needed). After a call into his shop, he returned saying that they could reduce the amount, but they usually don't do that. I told him that they need to tell Anthony that he should be clear to callers that they have a base price that high because I would not have had them come out at that price. They fixed they door sweep and made it right by reducing the price. They handled it well and even gave me the name of a company they recommend for fixing our tiles and grout. Overall, they did a good job, but the company needs to be sure to tell people in advance of their fairly steep base price especially when it is a small job.

I was at a loss as the company that installed my door 7 years ago has gone out of business. Vinny at Precision Glass was extremely helpful. They were happy to come out and fix the door. This was a relief as it was an expensive door and I did not want just anyone to do it. They were quick, professional, efficient, and cost a reasonable amount. They even helped me find another company to come out and work on the caulk that needed replaced. Now my shower looks like new!

The sales guys and installers were very professional and timely, and the finished results look good. After ordering the glass, it took about 2 weeks (+/-) for things to show up. My only very small (nit picky) quibble was that one of the glass panels had an imprecise measurement that resulted in wider gap (1/2") between the glass and the wall at the top and a small gap (1/8") at the bottom. This "gap" is filled with silicon, and has not caused any functional problems, so far. I did not press the issue because I didn't want to wait another 2 weeks for a replacement.
