While the exterior of the house definitely looked better with a new updated color. Plus Painting ran out of paint while they were working, so I had to go buy more, with my money. When the job was finished they didn't clean the paint off of windows, so my husband had to take a straight blade to the windows to clean them. Their ladders and materials were left outside my house and in my garage for days while showings for sale were happening, even after the job was done.

Initially, the work looked good, so we hired Plus Painting to do additional work for us. By the time the secondary job of exterior painting was done, the poor quality of the work inside came to light. Settling cracks were to have been filled, plastered and painted, but within a month the original settling cracks were wide open again because only paint had been used to cover the crack.

After receiving final payment early, Plus Painting never finished the job. Light fixtures were left dangling from the ceiling, crawl space openings were not covered, poles were not boxed in, the door on the sump pump closet was not painted and left without a handle. There were three different types of trim board put in, and some areas left without. The drywall plaster on the ceiling was slapped on and not smoothed. Ceiling drywall was not level.

Bill is a reliable professional contractor with attention to detail. Over the past year he completed many repair and paint projects for us in both our home and cottage. He uses dropcloths and cleans up very well. His competitive pricing also includes the paint. The finished product exceeded our expectations.
