carpet installation
+ -1 moreWe did not seek multiple estimates because this company was subcontracted by our insurance company, but we were pleased with them in the end. A sales rep came to our house with samples, and ordered the carpet required to install the insurance portion. When we called back 2 months later (when we were ready to install after fixing the other water damaged areas) this sales rep (Aaron) was no longer with the company. Barb helped me instead, and she went out of her way to make sure that everything got done as originally planned. The carpet was installed on two different days, since we did the insurance portion separate from our own portion. One crew cleaned up after themselves very well, the others left staples on the floor, which we had to pick up later to avoid injury. We had some miscommunication regarding the way the stairs were to be carpeted, but Barb made sure that they were completed to our satisfaction.
Description of Work: Advised on new carpeting & pad for basement after water damage. Installed new pad & carpet throughout basement and on stairs. Approximately 2/3 of the work was covered by our insurance company, we paid for approximately 1/3 out of pocket.
