Pretty amazing and fast.

The job went great and the bathroom is beautiful. As long as you, the client, are willing to do all of the purchasing, schlepping, ordering and have everything ready for them to go, they will perform quality work at a very fair price. You also must be willing to work with them way ahead of their schedule. I met with them two months prior to construction date which gave me all the time I needed to get all of the fixtures, cabinet, shower and hardware picked out. When they started, there was no way of knowing exactly what plumbing supplies would be needed, so I gave Pete and Phil some prepaid Home Depot/Lowe's cards so they could pick out exactly what they needed. This arrangement went extremely well. They worked cleanly and efficiently. Both of these guys have a great personality and are extremely fun to work with.

All the work was extremely well done and Pete was a pleasure to work with. I was amazed at how many projects he can complete in a single day. I wouldn't hesitate to contact him for any handyman-related task for my home.

The end result is fantastic. Pete and Phil recommended Sherwood windows, which are actually vinyl windows with the interiors cased in wood (poplar), but they would have installed another window brand of our choice. We really wanted to retain the wood-window look on the inside, but traditional all-wood or similar fiberglass windows are roughly $1,000 a window and well beyond our budget. The windows come unfinished, but Pete and Phil painted and stained each one, using samples from the existing frames to match exactly, before installation. They removed all the old windows, removing just the interior trim and leaving the frame untouched, popped in the new windows and replaced the trim. They carefully insulated, caulked and repainted the entire interior of the window to give a clean, finished look. On the outside, they removed all the old storm windows (very carefully to preserve the aluminum cladding around the trim), re-cladded with aluminum the wood stops now exposed by the removal of the storms, caulked and painted everything. Pete and Phil also painted the entire exterior of our house (separate report) and did a great job making sure the painting and new windows worked perfectly together. After a few visits to the house to talk about the project and take window measurements, and an hour at the window showroom to pick out the style and options, the whole project (powerwashing and painting of the house and replacement of all the windows) took 10 days.
