They provided excellent service.

I did not receive the promised estimate. I called the company two days later and Mrs. Wheeler apologized for not being more prompt in getting fax out and promised it the following day. Two days later I still had not received a fax. I called again and got the answering machine and let message rerequesting an estimate. I received no response. I called one last time and got the answering machine again. I left a message saying that if I did not hear from them by 5:30pm, I would assume they were not interested. I got no reply. I went beyond what I would normally tolerate in lack of service because the company had a good reputation with Angie's List. I had a different experience from what others reported. I will not contact them in the future.

It went very well. I was pleased with the service. The installation was quick and well done, and his service was polite and professional. My only complaint was that his wife, Nancy, handles the phone and schedule for the company (I think on top of another day job) and sometimes calls were not returned promptly. However, when she did call back she was very polite and they worked hard to get us on the schedule when we were in a hurry to have the project completed.

Paul Wheeler's Flooring did a phenomenal job with this project. From the beginning, Nancy was fabulous to work with in terms of scheduling both the estimate and the installation. They actually called us and offered to move the installation up one week because time had opened up on their schedule. They also worked with us to determine the best flooring to use and suggested options for where we could purchase the materials at the lowest cost. This saved us several hundred dollars in the end. The morning of the job, Paul picked up all of the supplies and then he and his team went to work starting early in the morning and working through lunch until 7pm to get the job done. The work is extremely high quality, and they paid attention to all of the details including cleaning and getting the stair trim "just right." The end result is beautiful, it's a completely new room.

They removed the old tile floor and replaced it with a new one. I like that the wife answers the phone; it seems like a mom and pop place.
